《Enter Darkness》Chapter 7

When I woke up I felt chains on my arms and legs. They placed my arms over my head and off to the side at an uncomfortable angle. Slowly my eyes began to focus and look around. The room was dimly lit and the first thing I noticed was I wasn't alone. Tomiko was there bound in a chair. But the thing that made my stomach drop was seeing Thrass, holding my daughter, Varla. I looked at him as he gently rocked her in his arms. She was fussy and he was making soft shushing sounds. I battled to keep my face neutral. He looked at me and smiled his sick smile.
"Oh, you are awake. I feared I would have to start without you. I see you have been busy." he walked around the room and I tried to pull away from the wall I was chained to. "You see I did not like you striking me. I decided to punish you. I know you spent time with this young lady when I let you have your time off at the end of our missions. I am aware there is no rules as to having relations among you initiates.
"But you have given me what I needed to punish you. You see, it seems pain is not what deters you from making mistakes. But I am sure this will do it." he walked over to Tomiko and kicked her chair. She jumps awake and looked around. Seeing Thrass she paled and cried out at the sight of our daughter in his arms.
"No! No please Master Thrass. Don't hurt her!" she began to cry and pull against the chair she was secured in. Thrass walked around her as she went on.
"Both of you will watch what happens. Then one of you will leave here. One may not. I have not decided." He bounced the baby more and moved to a table in the room. He pulled a knife and spins it in his hand. I railed against the chains.
"Master please don't! Do anything to me. Hurt me. Cut me. Torture me. But don't harm her. She is not part of this."
"I beg to differ." with a savage swing he cuts the knife into the soft fingers of my daughter. Her screams and crying fill the room. I begin to really fight. I yell and scream and curse. Tomiko does the same. Horrified and sick. Thrass doesn't stop. His skill comes to bare as he slowly butchers the baby. The cries finally ending as only the knife cuts out the heart.

When he moves away from the table we both can see the remains of the baby cut up so half the body remained. He begins cutting up the body slowly and seemed to be preparing something like he was cooking.
Tomiko cried without restraint. An hour later and with the sound and smell of cooked meat, Thrass walked back. He comes over to Tomiko.
"I am sure you are hungry. I have prepared a meal. Please enjoy." Tomiko doesn't respond and keeps her head down. I looked up at Thrass and watched him. I feel something in me pulling against my mind. Thrass slaps Tomiko and forces her mouth open. He spoon feeds meat into her mouth. I had a good idea what meat it was. I felt bile rise and looked away. Tomiko ate the meat slowly. When I looked over I saw her eyes were vacant.
Something inside her broke and she was no longer resisting. He fed her till she could eat no more. "Good. I see you enjoyed the taste of your daughter. And Ven don't worry. I saved something special for you. But lets continue your punishment." he set the plate down and began to untie Tomiko from the chair. I fought again.
"Enough you sick bastard. Leave her alone. You've done enough. She won't survive this. Leave her alone!" He smiled and slapped Tomiko. She didn't respond. He pulled her to the table where blood still dripped from Varla's body.
He ripped the clothes from Tomiko and pushed her down on it. He pulled a knife and slowly began cutting her. Not deep. Just to cause pain. She screams. He undoes his pants and forces himself inside her. I continued to yell and scream and pull the chains till I began to bleed from my wrists. He moved around the room and raped her in every angle to show me.
Her face slowly changed to show she enjoyed it. Her look was still blank and empty. He did this for hours. Then he cut off her legs and kept going. Then her arms. Tomiko began begging for more whenever he stopped. Begged him to cut her more. To hurt her. To put his knife anywhere he wanted. To impregnate her and cut the baby out if he wanted. Then he cut off her arms. Cooked and fed them to her. She loved it. But I knew she was broken. Damaged and never the same.

He put her down in front of me and put his cock to her eye. She smiled and begged him to do it. His cock pushed into her eye till the orb gave and ocular fluid flowed with blood. She screamed but begged for more. He released in her and on her. In every hole and made new ones. He kept going and stuffed it down her throat.
Kept going till she stopped breathing. Stomach cut open. Entrails pulled out of her. Arms and legs removed. Thrass ejaculations all over and in her body. He smiled and looked at me. "That was fun. Hold on a moment. Don't go anywhere." he takes Tomiko by her hair and drags her away. When he comes back he holds something under his arm and in both hands. He uses his foot to put the chair Tomiko was tied to in front of me. He smiles. "I hold in my hands some gifts for you." He puts the things in his hands in front of me and puts what was under his arm down too. "I saved the bottom half of your daughter to let you keep something small and tight to enjoy at night when you are lonely. And the breasts of lovely Tomiko so you have something to remember her by and enjoy with your daughter."
I was on my knees on the floor. Arms raised above my head. I was silent. My mind moved and I didn't speak. Thrass watched me. I felt something shift in me again and then felt a snap. Slowly I looked at Thrass. His eyes looked into mine. His sick smile slowly faded. His eyes shifted. I did not yell or cry. I did not curse or scream as he expected. The bodies of the woman I loved and our child was just that. Bodies. No longer them. Just meat. They were gone and sleeping in peace. I felt no sadness. I was not angry. I didn't feel loss or remorse.
My gaze remained on him. "What are you doing?" Thrass voice actually shook slightly. I watched him without speaking. Blood flowed from my wrists. With a slow sigh my breath escaped. The room darkened and I watched my master. "Stop this. I am your master. Obey me!" He stood and backed away.
The chair falling. I stood slowly. My eyes locked on him tight. Eyes boring into his. A drop of blood fell but froze mid fall. Once it hit the ground it shattered. I released a breath again and vapor rose out. Like a cold day. The shadows moved behind Thrass. He didn't noticed as he refused to look away from me. I pulled on the right chain. The chain froze and snapped. I pulled the left chain. The metal seemed to slice off. Blood leaving traces on the metal. The bleeding flowed to the palm of the left hand and stopped. Growing and solidifying. Frost moved to the right palm and did the same.
"You! You are from the Isles. That whore mother of yours is one of them!" I moved toward him. He stepped back. His foot stepped in the shadow and it wrapped around his foot. He looked down and began to yell. I kept moving forward.
"Fuck you, you Daishin bastard!" he fought. Daggers flew and other explosives. Most froze or seemed to fall with blood covering them. The shadows creeped up Thrass.
He curses and I begin to return the favor. Ice began creeping up his right and blood slowly began to come from his skin like sweat. The screams of anguish were loud and unending. Slowly he boiled from the inside and froze from the outside. Parts of his body began to be severed by the shadows. When the job was done I began moving from the room. Tomiko's body was visible as I left. A look of ecstasy was on her face. Varla's head was between her legs face down. I looked away. Shadow followed and swallowed everything in the rooms and made them disappear.
I walked up stairs that led up and out of the hell I was in. The moment I was out it was like my mind snapped back like a rubberband. I looked around and nothing was out of the ordinary. Slowly I remember what happened. But I could not remember how I escaped or how Thrass died.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

The Forgotten One
Hey there everbody. This will be my second upload to Roll 20. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue my previous one due to life and what not but I'm now back and have a some what new idea I've been kicking around for years. We'll see if i head back to my other fiction due to having things calming down. And like always I'm open to constructive critisims. Any way on to the synopsis. The world as we know it is gone. Torn from everyone due to two major things. First and foremost a biologica lweapon that no one wanted to take credit for after it was released and couldn't be stopped (a zombie virus of sorts) and the way that many nations thought to stop it from spreading was to destory everything they could ofcourse that didn't include them selves. So there the world was in a mexican standoff with hundreds of countries with hundreds of nuclear weapons just dareing one another to make the first move. Once again no one knew who started it but it didn't matter once it started the world was doomed. In an attempt to save people some scientists began working on a way to cryogenically frezze people so they could surive the on coming armegedon. The problem was before they could begin testing it on humnas the nukes began launching. In a bid to save them selves a family gave their youngest son to the scientists as a test subject. He had already been infected by the virus weeks before the nukes were being threatened and still retained his humanitiy. After being betrayed by his family after telling them of his ability to stay him self and a few things the bio weapon had changed in him physically he was sedated with enough drugs to kill a whole pride of elephants and forced to take part in the experiment. The last thing he remembers was watching his world close around him (his cryo pod) and his family's face of sadness but also hope in the fact that them betraying him may give them a chance to live. This is a fan fiction in which many aspects of one of my favorite games will be quiet prevelent. It will be obvious to those who have played it but for those who may not the game i'm going to be baseing some of the things in this novel is called Prototype. And no I do not own the rights to the cover. If the creater would like for me to pull it down please messege me.
