Vapor came from the man's mouth.
"I am supposed to be the strongest in this level, how could a puny human like you. I am Ragtrak! Tell me your name before I crush your skull." Damion's body felt light as if he was floating in a pool of water, he could not hear anything from Ragtark.
"How dare you make a mockery of me!" Ragtark charged right at Damion who was still in his own world.
[Shadow Step activated]
[Greater Strength activated]
Ragtark's arm was broken, Damion had put him into an armlock and made sure that Ragtark was in agony.
"Gah, my arm!" Ragtark was hopeless against Damion with his skill [mind over body] active.
"I will not yield!" Ragtark got his axe and flung it towards Damion.
[Telekinesis activated]
The axe dropped into the ground gently. Ragtark's blood was boiling, he had never felt so frustrated before. He threw some giant rocks at Damion and charged right through, bashing Damion into the Labyrinth's wall.
"Yes! Finally, no one is stronger than Ragtark!" Ragtark celebrated too early.
"Hm, still got some fight in you?" Damion's glare was frightening, Ragtark felt like his heart wanted to stop.
"I must flee, I have the key to the next level if I can seek help from the others I can live. Forget my pride, I need to live." Ragtark felt petrifed, he never seeked help but today was an exception. He never faced an outsider as strong as Damion before.
"Any last words?" Damion stored all kind of weapons in his bag if he felt the need for a different situation, he felt like he wanted to crush Ragtark with a hammer. Damion caught up with Ragtark in an instant who was nearing the next labyrinth level door.

"No, please I don't want to die like this!" Ragtark put up his arms to block the incoming attack.
"Those who kill must be ready to be killed themselves." Damion then landed his hammer right on Ragtark's side hitting his liver and breaking most of his ribs.
[You defeated the First Labyrinth Boss out of 5!]
[You received the key to Labyrinth level 2]
[Mind over Body has deactivated]
"Haaa, so there's five levels in this labyrinth and each has its own boss which might be even more powerful than Ragtark." Damion stretched his arms as if he had went through his daily training routine, he noticed that Tsubuki was still on her knees and that Lepan and Ezra were a pile of bones.
"Ah, I should probably reanimate them again." Damion walked towards Lepan and Ezra's bones.
[Reanimation activated]
"Oi, Tsubuki stop sobbing and stand up. I'm not going to die from a small fry like that." Damion was acting tough for someone who was knocking at death's door.
[Status Scroll open]

"Hey can you please make up a solid plan before rushing in like that? You can't always use that skill to overpower your enemies." Tsubuki finally stood up and nagged at Damion for being so reckless.
"Hm, well the only thing that skill consumes is my stamina. I feel sleepy so i'll leave my skeletons to do all the exploring of the level~" Damion had pulled out a makeshift bed from his magic bed and slept.

"Gosh this guy, well let's check this place out before going into the next level." Damion had ordered all his skeletons to listen to Tsubuki while he was sleeping.
First, the skeletons had killed most of the leftover beasts that were still roaming around in the jungle. The beast's blood were taken as samples by Tsubuki while the skeletons absorbed the bones, Lepan and Ezra had reanimated the stronger beasts into the army saving Ragtark for Damion to reanimate.
Next, they had taken out the forge for the smith to make some new weapons and improve the others. There were a lot of ore in the labbyrinth level so they gladly took it, they also got different seeds of plants from the level that could enhance potion effects. Damion's skeleton army was closing to have numbers near 300 with levels all above 60, there was still four more levels to clear and they could not exit the labyrinth until they complete it. So they made sure they prepared before moving on.
Two days later...
"Ah~, I had a good sleep. How long has it been." Damion finally replenished his stamina from the use of mind over body.
"Hey, we prepared everything except resurecting Ragtark. Your skeletons suggested that you were the one to reanimate him." Tsubuki pointed to Ragtark's nude corpse as the skeletons had taken his armour off to improve on it.
"Hmm, He's going to be useful later on with the information of the labyrinth." Damion focused his mana to his palm.
[Reanimation activated]
Ragtark's body started to move once more, Damion could feel the aura of his.
"No wonder he was the boss of this level. Now tell me, whose the next boss?" Damion reached deeply into Ragtark's memories.
"Okay I couldn't get any further than the next level's boss but it was useful. The next boss will be a rock golem, not really intelligent but its defense and strength is greater than little Ragtark here." Damion knew that this boss would be eaiser to handle since it was stupider than Ragtark, Damion was scared of the smarter opponents like the image he saw in Ragtark where a man whose aura's just boasted superiority.
"Hm, let's just move on now. I got the key." Damion used the key on the giant labyrinth door and entered once again.
They were teleported once again this time to a desert that reminded Damion of the Khamalararian desert.
"Did we go back?" Tsubuki was confused from them being back to the desert again.
"Its abnormally hot, I see another giant door so we still are in the labyrinth." The heat coming from this level was intense, Damion had to enchant his armour and Tsubuki's with ice to keep them cool. A rumble came from beneath the two's feet.
"From below?" Damion quickly grabbed Tsubuki.
[Telekinesis activated]
A giant golem arised from underneath, it stood tall with a height close to 5000 metres.
"Are you kidding me, we're supposed to take down that?" Damion looked at the massive rock golem which came closer to them by the second.
"Well, let's do this!" Damion readied his magic with Tsubuki at the golem.

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice.
