+Current range: 0.5 meters.
Two successive dings rang inside the mind of Titus as it added to the buzzing already present in the former. Unfortunately for Titus it did not made his mind clear though as much as it clouded his mind even more. Shaking his head Titus got up unto his buttocks in attempt to find a comfortable position for him to recover.
A few moments later the clouds covering Titus' mind started clearing up as the sun was once again shining brightly. When Titus opened his eyes the first thing that he immediately caught his attention was the words displayed in his eyes. Titus was surprised for a moment but eventually recovered as he started regaining his memories piece by piece.

Titus quickly read through the words in his eyes and contemplated for a bit. 'First things first, basing on the' skills' unlocked written on his eyes or more specifically his retina, then this should work. ' Titus then moved his mind and started imagining.
Alas, there it was."It really appeared!" Titus exclaimed. An then the former words that appeared on his eyes was then replaced with a new set of words.

There are three categories that you can choose but Titus did not have any thoughts checking them out at the moment as he is already starting to get... funny.
Chuckle*
Hahahha2x
From a grin to mild chucking. Titus then started laughing horrendously after he woke up from his dreary thoughts.
"It succeeded!" Titus exclaimed. 'I really am a genius.' Titus immediately continued but now in his thoughts. 'Anyway, I have to figure out where I am first.' Titus then quickly found back his sanity and started thinking logically.
Titus got up unto his feet and started scanning his surroundings when suddenly he was alarmed. He jump from fright when he noticed that his surroundings seemed to be... bigger, than himself. However having just experienced the information window first thought of possibllities before freaking out.
'There are two possibilities, either my surroundings are big or... I'm the one who's small. In order to confirm this-' Titus then looked down and there came to view his... Body? What Titus saw was his body(?) full of vibrant brown hair(?). Titus saw this and lifted his palms up. He saw his hands smaller than they are supposed to. His fingers longer and thinner than the former and his hands seemed to be more spread out. Looking further down he saw his feet also in a similar fashion with his hands. Touching his face Titus felt his furry face but what's more was that his face seemed to be disfigured(?). Definitely still in the same shape of a skull just that it is much smaller just like the rest of his body. Passing for a moment, Titus completely stopped moving.

Then suddenly he dashed straight through the lush vegetation. He did not know where he was going but he was still running continually nonetheless. During his seemingly aimless sprint, his ears twitched as he started hearing that the sounds around him are much louder and his movements much more agile apart from his small stature, Titus quietly nodded on the inside.
Still running, Titus then heard the sound he was looking for. Ripples* Titus started hearing rippling and followed the direction where it came from.
Arriving at a river, Titus stopped at the edge and peered through the water. On the flowing water he saw himself in he waters reflection and muttered, "imp."
After confirming it firsthand Titus finally opened the Info* categories on the window selection as he willed through his thoughts.

Name: Titus White
Level: 0
Race: Forest Imp +

Titus then willed and chose the plus sign after the 'Forest Imp'.
Forest Imp
Like most other imps, forest imps are basically one and the same compared to other Imps. Forest Imps are often characterized with their smaller stature compared to normal Imps. They have however much stronger teeth and claws in order to live up to their name as Forest Imps as they usually prey at fruits and even small insects thus their enhanced speed and mobility and eyesight for looking and scavenging for food.
'Hmmm'. Titus thought. Looking to the both ends of the river which Titus can't even see the end of it despite his enhanced eyesight. 'Logically I shouldn't stay here because first I am a Forest Imp meaning that my compatability with the forest is much higher thus safer and second this is a river and a long one at that I presume meaning that this is a 'primary' source of water to most creatures, or should I say monsters if ever I see humans, thus it is much better to leave this place the faster the better as this is where most of them converge to drink water. ' Snapping out of his thoughts Titus prepped himself up and took a deep breath.
Titus turned around to the he forest when suddenly heavy breathing blew right into his face as soon as he turned around. Opening his eyes, Titus saw a dog, a rabid one at that. Judging from the looks of it sharp fangs and obnoxiously open and bubbling mouth made Titus reach that conclusion. Also as to why the Paranoic Senses sense did not work, well, it did work. It's just that Titus was focused on thinking and was really not used to having just 'skills' in general.
'Come on!' Titus exclaimed in his mind. I really have to adapt to this bullsh*t and fast.

The Court of Souls?
What do we talk about tonight?~“How about a story?”~Fine by me. Which story? Hopefully a good one.~“There was once a lonely child in a world filled with myths, gods and demons. Only power counted there and the weak were worse than cattle. A world where survival of the fittest ruled.”~Was it strong then?~“No, but the child had a power. One that made him stand between light and darkness. Nothing could escape him, so he was shunned by his people.”~ What did he do? Did he fight his fate? Did he hide his power? What was it?~“Oh, he fought. He fought a lot. And no thing could escape his power. It was something that everyone had to live with.”~So he became a hero and changed the world?~»…”~Tell me.~“Nooo, that’s not how the story goes. This isn’t a story of a noble man, doing good amidst a sea of monsters. This is a story of a demon who was… kinder than the rest.”~A kind demon? How boring.~“I think it would be better if I tell the story, so you can judge for yourself.”~So tell the story!

The Laptop Hero (Portal/Isekai LitRPG)
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - April 2022 Silas got summoned to another world—by a group of kids attending magic school who seemed rather unhappy with the results of their ritual. After a brief glimpse of his summoners Silas woke in the town dump. Unable to speak the local language, a misunderstanding escalated and before long Silas wound up in a jail cell, the locals having confiscated all his worldly possessions aside from his laptop, which had formed some strange bond with him. Now he can summon his laptop at will, and he can view his Status, level up, and gain powerful skills and magic as if he were some character in a video game, which is great and everything, but all Silas really wants to do is sit in a dark room and play games on his laptop. Only, life isn't a game, and Silas needs to get his act together because everyone else is playing for keeps. Or does he? Maybe for Silas life is just one big game now, with everyone else stuck playing by his rules. Assorted Disclaimers, in no particular order: I am only posting this on RoyalRoad.com, so if you find my story elsewhere it was not posted by me. Please do let me know! While I do consider this a progression fantasy, and have tagged it as such, Silas's Status improvements will not necessarily proceed in a linear fashion. His RPG stats will have ups and downs, exploits and nerfs, periods of growth and stagnation. Such is the life of a gamer, to be held under the thumb of the all powerful devs, or in this case a certain goddess devoted to the idea of Balance. SIlas himself should learn and grow, improving and progressing in areas where he struggles, or rather, to show such is my goal. The story is told from multiple points of view. While other PoVs will come and go, Silas shall remain the only lead character. The world Silas finds himself on is not a nice place. Expect him to encounter gore and traumatizing content and bad people who do bad things for selfish (or possibly noble) reasons from time to time. Some characters will use profanity, however due to cultural differences the curse words used will differ from those used in our corner of reality, so I'm not including the profanity content warning. Silas himself isn't one for foul language. No explicit sexual content here. This novel is intended for mature readers, however, and will include mature topics, including, but not limited to, sex, violence, death, and taxes. No harem. Might be an eventual romantic interest, possibly even some competitive jealousy, yet as his story begins Silas is too overwhelmed with other concerns to consider long term plans. Musophobics might want to steer clear of this story. Same goes for turophobics. You have been warned. Keep in mind, however, if my other disclaimers didn't make this clear, I only have the faintest of outlines at the moment. This story will take me where it will. My goal with this story is to write it to the end, something of a long-term writing exercise, with the hope others might take an interest in my work and encourage me to keep at it. I've started a number of works before, even finished a few, but this is the first time I've shared any work in a public forum. My temporary cover was made by me, in GIMP using public domain images. If you can do better I'll happily accept your submission and give credit for your work here!

Tryphant Agent's Historical Logs
[Disclaimer: This novel is no longer in continuation since I've found more joy in writing short stories. I'll continue writing about this universe and the world in it, building upon the documents of the Tryphant Agents but in another novel] What is the origin of life? What is the meaning to life? Are we the only intelligent being in this universe? Why haven't we been struct by a catastrophe??? How has the world been so peaceful for such a long time?!!! Is there a hidden force that controls our world from being destroyed?!!! How have we not noticed them!?!!! Am I just delusional??!!!! I'm definetly delusional. These are the questions that mortals often ask and frequently ignore in their life, yet answering these questions will lead a person to the Tryphant Agents. An organization who protects various civiliaztions from destruction time and time again without a single person noticing them. They are an organization that is like time, powerful yet unnoticed. This is the historical logs of the Tryphant Agents. Disclaimer: I'm writing this to fill my world with details and I'm only hoping for this to be a good story. The main core focus is to write characters with life into them, a world where it feels real, and story that is consistent. Don't expect a top tier story because this will be my experimental logs as well where I will try various writing styles. Rather I wish that you hope for a great story instead.
