Within a room in a medium sized city filled with all sorts of monsters and beasts was 10 men and women talking about the rise of Oscar the Wise.

“Julia, the rise of the Wise one is a sign of the end, like said in the prophecy” An old woman with the bottom of a snake and the upper body of a human said as she held a crystal ball. The one she was talking to sat at the head of the table, she was an incomparable beautiful woman with no equal. She had 6 white fox tails that hung loosely from her chair swinging back and forth. This beautiful woman was known as Julia she was the daughter of the previous ruler who has recently become bed rested from age. Despite being a man of power, he couldn’t escape the inevitable sands of time, he lived for hundreds of years as well as being another overlord of the vast forest.

The men and women in the room all started to voice their opinions on how to proceed showing no respect for the one who is deemed as the leader after her father’s incapability to lead. Julia watched as the so called right hand men and women to her father bicker and clash over something so flimsy as destiny and prophecy’s.

Only one man remained silent through the whole debacle, Julianus, he is the first son of the Fox king. But his bloodline is not pure fox instead it is mixed with human bloodline unlike his pure sister and younger brother. He was nothing but a sign of his father’s infidelity to the queen of the fox’s, the golden queen.

The queen is royalty among the foxes unlike their father who won the favor of the previous king by doing impossible deeds during the previous great war long ago. With the queen not caring about worldly matters and their father bed rested its up to the children to keep the wolves at bay and protect the city their family built over the years with the sole goal of protecting and serving.

While the group was arguing about the reason why the Wise one awakened and the prophecy they were unaware that a pair of Goblins sauntered into the town. This pair of brown adult human sized Goblins were the reason the Wise one awakened, yet the council was unaware of it at this time and continued to argue amongst themselves causing the internal strife to become worse.

At this moment factions in this city were being drawn and allegiances were being put into question but the pair of Goblins and the ones looking for the cause of the Wise one’s awakening were unaware that they were so close yet so far from one another.

At this time the pair of Goblins are selling off some animals they hunted for cash to rent a room at the inn to rest after the long walk and battle there.
