7 Years Later
A figure of a teen about fifteen could be seen battling a dragon that’s about forty meters tall and fifty-meter long.
“Vel boy lets call it a day” the dragon spoke in rough human-like voice.
“But I’m about to win” Vel said in a disappointed voice as he stomps on the ground.
“Vel it time to go back to the capital” Zen shouted from the said as he looks at the wasteland the created.
“Goodbye Dragon God” Vel wave to the dragon before him and Zen descended the mountain.
A month later Vel has returned to the capital.
“I have returned” Vel said visiting the food stall that lined the road.
“Your acting like a kid who never been feed” Zen said as he followed after Vel while paying for him.
“Of course, for the last seven years all there was what we found on the mountain or dried rations” Vel said between mouth fulls and since neither of them could cook well the food tasted terrible.
As the two of them made there way toward the capital a group of knights rushed toward them and kneeled.
“Prince Vel you have returned at last” they shout which scared the two of them.
“Who are you talking about” Vel asks looking around.
“I think they are talking about you boy” Zen said with a wry smile as he figured who the culprit was since it happened to his friend long ago.
“But why did I turn into prince all of the sudden” Vel asks confused and with his head down.
“Well let say this going to be interesting” Zen said as they boarded the carriage.
“I wanted to taste more of the food” Vel thought as they passed by more stalls.
When the two of them arrived at the castle they were lead to the king’s private quarters.

“Nathen how were you the last seven years” Zen said as he sat at the table.
“Overworked and came to an agreement with Halen and Zelly” the King said with slight smile raising.
“So it really was those two that sent the knights to greet us” Zen said.
“Yeah and Vel before you say anything your other identity is only known by us” Nathen said warning Vel before the doors burst open and a teenage girl captured Vel in a hug.
“Vel I missed you so much” she had tears running and her hold kept getting tighter almost like she trying to crush his bones.
‘Who is this’ Vel sent his gaze over to the King who only smiled at him.
“Zelly if you can release him before you suffocate him” Halen entered the room saying with a big smile as she watched this.
“No because he might leave again for years” Zelly said squeezing evening tighter.
“But are you acting as a proper princess” Halen asks’.
“No” she said as she let go of Vel.
“Why did you disappear for seven years” Zelly asked Vel.
When Vel heard this he instantly formed a plan to bring the king down with him.
“Nathen asked Zen and me to travel and look at why many of the village and towns were disappearing” Vel said causing the King to look at his friend with eyes that scream ‘What did you teach him’.
When Zen looked at the king he only sent him eyes that said ‘I didn’t teach him that’ with small smile on his face.
“Is that so?” Zelly said with a furious look toward Nathen.
“Why don’t you ask him while I go take a bath and nap from all the traveling” Vel said calling a maid to navigate him to his room.

-King POV-
While I watched Vel escape all I could think about ‘Nicely done but did you have to shift the blame to me’.
“Is it true what he said” Zelly looked straight at me while asking in a cold tone.
‘Is this the teenage rebelling I hear about’ I thought.
“It true and they were just telling me about it” I said send a look of help to Zen.
“Well, we can continue later as I’m also pretty tired from the travel” Zen said walking out of the room.
‘Not you too’ I scream in my head as I watched and kept getting question after question.
-Vel POV-
“Leigh what am I supposed to do now” I asked after I enter the training ground.
“Hmm… I think your in a good position since if you can’t get your target you can use your powers as a prince” said Leigh.
“But assassin isn’t supposed to be known” Vel asks.
“Vel think about it you could be known as a perfect prince to the public while being a cold-blooded assassin in the dark” said Leigh.
“Is it really possible to do both?” I ask since it would become a big problem fast if I’m ever caught.
“It possible but going to be interesting from now on” Leigh said with a laugh.
‘I doubt it as easy as it sounds’ Vel said.
-In Secret Place-
“Everything is ready” a man in priest robe said while kneeling.
“Perfect now its time to expand into the capital. Go and organize the teams” he said with an evil grin.
“As you wished” the man left the room and soon chants could be heard entering.
“All hail the Light God”.
