《Different》Chapter 19 - Tomorrow

Soro slowly sighed.
["I see, so she had her reasons to go, it can't be helped I guess"]
Yugo glanced at Soro.
"You going ?"
"Do I have a choice ?"
"Fair enough. When do you leave ?"
"Actually, I still need to figure that out"
Yugo smirked.
"That's so like you"
Soro tilted his head with a confused look on his face.
"What's that supposed to mean ?"
"Don't worry. Go find out when you're leaving, I can't have you disappearing without saying goodbye now can I ?"
"Okay, see you later"
Soro left the classroom. He had no choice but to accept Kosuke's offer now that he knew Akame had actually went.
["I promise I will protect you this time Akame"]
He went into the main office. Kosuke was standing there about to lock the door to his office and leave. He turned his head around and spotted Soro standing next to him with a determined look on his face.
"Ah, so have you decided already ?"
"Yes....I want to go to the New World Academy!"
Kosuke opened the door to his office and switched the lights back on. He made way for Soro to enter before him.
"Alright then, come in"
They both went inside the office. Soro sat down and looked at Kosuke in the eye.
"However I will only go on one condition..."
Kosuke sat down on the opposite side where Soro was sitting. He was clearly interested in what Soro had to say.
"And what's that ?"
"Takimi and Yugo have to be kept safe and far away from anyone who could harm them, If I receive any calls from them saying they are hurt then I will quit the academy"
Kosuke chuckled.
"You're certainly demanding for someone who has been put in a tight situation. However I accept this condition, the safety of students are my top priority. You may of not already been told but there are special officers who patrol in this school nowadays to prevent abilities being abused.

["Tch, took you long enough"]
"I see, alright then"
"Anymore questions ?
"I guess not"
"Okay, now I'll tell you more information about this academy such as things you need, where you'll be staying and so on"
Kosuke picked up a bag beside him that was laying on the floor. He opened it up and began taking out a pile of papers. Soro's eyes widened, there was no way he would be able to read all of that. Kosuke placed the papers on the desk.
"Alright most of this you can read on your journey there rather than me explaining it to you"
He took out a question sheet from the pile and slid it over to Soro.
"Please fill this out"
Soro picked up a pen that was on the table. He began reading the questions.
Question 1: What is your full name ?
Answer: "Soro Matako"
Question 2: Please explain your ability ?
Soro paused at this question. He looked over at Kosuke who was organizing the papers into order from the most important to the least.
"I don't know how to answer the second question"
Kosuke paused for a second and faced Soro.
"Ah, just write what your capable of doing with your ability"
Soro looked down at the question once again.
["If I had to describe it, then I would probably just say it's teleportation since that's happened quite often, but if that's my only ability then what was that thing back then"]
He began thinking about the shock wave that came out of his eye during the fight with Daichi.
["If I write down that I can do that as well as randomly teleport then I might get asked a lot of questions"]
Soro looked at kosuke once again.
["But then again he may of told them about it already"]

After a couple of seconds Soro had finally decided on his answer.
Question 2: Please explain your ability ?
Answer: "Teleportation"
He filled out the rest of the questions with simple answers and handed the paper over to Kosuke. Soro nervously bit his lips.
["If he reads the second question he will definitely tell me to re-answer it"]
Kosuke slowly began picking up the paper.
["No no!"]
Just as it looked like he was about to read it, Kosuke picked up an envelope and placed the paper inside. He then proceeded to place the rest of the sheets he had organised inside as well.
"Alright, so you're journey begins tomorrow-"
Soro cut him off after hearing he had to go tomorrow.
"Tomorrow !?!"
Kosuke raised one of his eyebrows.
"Is there a problem with that ?"
"No, it's just I thought i'd have more time to sort some things out"
Kosuke slowly nodded. He could understand where Soro was coming from, after all he had just waken up from a coma not too long ago.
"Believe me I tried to extend the date as much as I could. However, the official opening of the academy is in 3 days and they said everyone must attend"
["That doesn't make sense, if it's in 3 days then why do I have to go their tomorrow"]
"Why can't I go a day before ?"
"Ah, well the head of the academy wants to speak to you as soon as possible"
It was hard enough to take in the fact he had to go to a prestige school to avoid being imprisoned, but now all of a sudden the head of the school wanted to speak to him ? What would they even talk about ? It's not like they have ever met each other before. A hundred different thoughts began running through Soro's head. What could possibly make this person want to speak to Soro of all people ?
"What does he want to talk to me about ?"
"Well for starters it's a she. And she didn't specify what the topic was. However she did tell me to tell you something"
"What ?"
"She wanted me to tell you that she was the one who found you on the night of the fall"
Soro's eyes widened. He froze in shock for an entire minute. Kosuke began getting worried and waved his hands in front of Soro's face to bring him back to his senses.
"Hello !? Earth to Soro"
Soro snapped out of the state he was in.
"Ok, I'll pack my things and come here first thing in the morning"
Kosuke leaned back on his chair. He was feeling a lot more relaxed than earlier.
"Don't be late"
Soro got up from his seat and left the room. He did not make a single sound on his way out.
["Who ever this woman is, I have to see her"]

The Morgulon
Greg never really wanted to become a werewolf hunter. He just wanted to prove to his father that he could do the job his family was famous for, maybe earn some money while he’s at it. He certainly never wanted to become a werewolf, or run away from home, or fight the inquisition. Unfortunately, as his brothers would say, fate has a shitty sense of humour. Updates on Mondays. "I feel like this story perfectly represents how you can't judge a book by its cover (or, in this case, concept). Edgy badboy werewolf teen romance? Yeet that concept out the window and get ready for an action-packed fantasy with an incredibly built world and logical, realistic characters." "This is a great story, probably better than any werewolf novel I've read. It's certainly not a typical werewolf story (but don't let that stop you from reading it, the werewolves are still amazing.)" "A werewolf story where people aren't constantly meeting gruesome ends that still maintains a gritty atmosphere. Realistic worldbuilding and character design make this a must read!" - RR reviews The first chapter is also on DeviantArt, more may follow.
