["Where am I ?"]
Soro looked around his surroundings, he spots chairs with desks in front of them and students messing around while others sat down patiently by themselves.
["I could of swore that I was in the hallway, was I dreaming or something ?"]
He walked passed the hurdle of students and accidentally bumped his shoulder onto one of them, the student standing taller than Soro looked down at him with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Hey! Watch where your going !"
"Ah, sorry"
Soro eventually made his way to the classroom exit, as he opened the door he met eyes with Akame who was about to enter through the same door.
"Soro, how did you get here ? I just went out to look for you since you were taking so long and none of the boys that usually hang around the toilet area said they saw you go in"
"Oh right.."
["So I wasn't dreaming then, I really was attacked at the hallway by those two other guys , but how did I end up here ?"]
"Soro, you're spacing out, are you feeling okay ?"
"Yeah, just a little tired"
["Should I tell her that I randomly appeared here ? she probably wouldn't believe me even if I tell her anyways....wait a second, people have abilities nowadays so it shouldn't be too weird to ask"]
Akame waved her hands around in front of Soro's face.
"Uh hello ? earth to Soro"
"Oh right sorry"
"I think you should go ask the school to let you go early so you can go get some rest, I mean they should allow you since you were recently in a coma"
"Don't worry i'm fine" Akame leaned in closer to him to get a better view of his face.
"You sure don't look it"

["I should ask her"]
"Hey Akame..."
"Hmm ?"
"You know how everyone has an ability now ?"
"Well not everyone, only the people who touched a revolt arrow, but go on"
"Would it be possible to have an ability to define the laws of physics ?"
Akame looked at him with a confused look on her face.
"Huh, what do you mean ?"
"I mean would it be possible for someone with an ability to do something extreme like teleport or whatever"
"Well, the news hasn't reported anything like that yet so probably not, most peoples abilities that I have seen usually enhance the users physical body or let them do things like manipulate fire, water, wind and other things. Why do you ask ?"
"Just curious about how they work"
["If that couldn't have been an ability then what the hell was it ?"]
Akame put her hand to her chin as if she were thinking then suddenly her eyes opened wide.
"Ah, I almost forgot, Soro!"
"What is it ?"
"Me and Yugo were planning to head to the arcade after school, wanna tag along ? it will be fun"
Soro smiled naturally.
"Sure"
"Alright then, its settled, by the way, where are you going ?"
["I can't say that I'm going to the toilet since I already used that excuse and never went"]
"I'm just gonna go drink some water to freshen up"
"Should I come with you ? I don't want you to get lost again"
"Nah it's fine I can head there myself"
"Alright then"
As Soro was about to walk passed Akame put her arm out to stop him.
"Hey wait a second, now that I look closely it looks like you got a small cut around your cheek"
"Ah right, Sister..."
Akame put her hand up and placed it on the cheek Soro had a cut on.
"You should treat this, it could get infected"
"Will do" Akame took her hand off Soros cheek and walked passed him.
["What was that about ? she has hemophobia yet she nearly touched the cut on my face "]
As Akame walked further into the classroom her red blossom eyes lit up for a split second. Shortly after Soro's eyes also lit up for a moment however he didn't realize it.

Duality
“Listen closely for this is our oldest tale… In the beginning there was peace and knowledge throughout our land… The creatures of old roamed these lands… Evil had yet to spread through our land… A rift in the very fabric of reality formed… The land burned and melted as the creatures stepped through… As the most advanced civilization… We took the mantle to combat… By the time we were able to gather half the world had already been lain bare… The war covered the once peaceful land in death and destruction… During this time humanity's greatest light arose…” Monologued the old man, red in the face from passionately spewing his praises of a past he had no part of. Written by two authors, this novel covers the tale of a pair of protagonists in a wuxia world. Oh, and maybe an isekai or two. Our goal with this project is to make an engaging and entertaining story, while making a good attempt at a somewhat realistic wuxia setting. We’re aware of the oxymoron…
