Soro turned around to see who was behind him but didn't spot anyone he knew, he then heard the voice call out to him again.
"I'm over here you idiot"
He looked to his left and spotted Takimi waving at him with a surprised look on her face. Soro looked at her confusingly.
"Takimi, how did you get here so fast ?"
"Well I was already on my way to visit you but then I got a call from the hospital saying that you had woken up so I came here running"
"Ah, that explains it"
"Well....?"
"What ?"
"THE HELL DO YOU MEAN WHAT !?! YOU WERE IN A COMA FOR A WHOLE WEEK AND I WAS BEGINNING TO THINK YOU WOULDN'T WAKE UP AND NOW THAT YOU'RE UP YOUR ACTING NORMAL AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED !!!"
The crowd around the them started staring at Takimi. Soro put his index finger to his lips.
"Shhhhh!....you're too loud Takimi, can't you see where in a hospital ?"
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT CAN'T YOU SEE THA-"
"Alright! alright, I get it you missed your big brother so much that you've gone mad, aw...it's okay come give me a hug.."
Takimi threw a punch directly at Soro's cheek, he was launched across the corridor and fell onto the ground.
"SHUT UP BEFORE I HIT YOU!"
Soro put his hand over the cheek that Takimi as he groaned in pain.
"You...kinda already did"
Takimi walked up to him and held her hand out.
"What are you waiting for lets go home"
Soro grabbed her hand and got up from the ground with a confused look on his face.
["Did she just have a personality change ?"]
The crowd stared at them as the two walked down the corridor and entered an elevator nearby. Takimi pushed the button on the elevator to head to the ground floor. Once they got out of the elevator they made their way into the main reception room. An attendant came up to them with a piece of paper and handed it to Soro.

"Please fill out this form and put your signature here"
"Okay"
Soro took the paper and filled in all the details, he handed it over to the attendant.
"Thank you, the exit is to your right"
They walked out of the hospital, Soro stretched his arms out as he yawned.
"Alrighty then, how do we get home ?"
"What do you mean ? we walk obviously"
"Whaaaat...!? I can't walk all the way home, can't you see i'm still recovering from my injuries ?"
"Yea right! you were walking perfectly fine in the hospital, what's the different about walking home ?"
"Well for starters....it's cold"
Takimi glared at him.
"Just shut up and walk"
"Alright fine"
Soro walked ahead of Takimi and took a left towards an alleyway. Takimi looked at him with an annoyed expression as she pointed towards the right.
"Where are you going dingus !?! our home is that way, jeez maybe you should of stayed in the hospital a bit longer"
Soro grinned.
"Right..."
As they walked on ahead Soro spotted someone maneuvering in the air as if he was flying, he had a red light flashing out of both his hands as if he were holding a glow stick. He tapped Takimi and pointed towards the man surfing through the sky.
"Hey, are you seeing that !?"
"Yea, what about it ?"
"What do you mean what about it !?! he is legit flying like some sort of comic super hero"
"And ?"
"How are you not surprised ? your acting as if that's normal"
"Oh shoot! I forgot, you were in a coma the past week so you probably don't know"
"Don't know what ?"
"Basically there was a rainfall a week ago and these weird thingies were falling out of the sky and anyone who got hit by one got some sort of ability or something like that"
"Rainfall...you mean the revolt arrows ?"
"What the hell is that ?"
"Nevermind, so do you have an ability Takimi ?"
"Nah, I was at home when it happened so I didn't get hit by one"
"Ah, that's a relief"
Soro turned to look at the man surfing on the sky
["I wonder what kind of ability that is"]
They walked on wards for half an hour and eventually reached their house. Takimi went ahead of Soro and walked into her bedroom.
"I'm going to sleep, don't stay up for too long we have school tomorrow"
"Alright, I guess i'll do the same after I check somethings out"
Soro went to his bedroom and opened a laptop he had placed near his desk, he searched for the recent news about the rainfall and came across a live broadcast about the topic , he clicked on the video link and played it.
[[["Hello it's Riko here reporting about the recent events. As you all already know there has been a strange incident regarding the rainfall on the 7th of April, today with me is Mr. Asashi, a scientist in the biology field who claims to have some answers about the rainfall, please take it away sir"]]]
[[["Thank you, so as most of you are aware the revolt arrows have been discovered to give people unique kinds of abilities that transcend human limits, however after a couple of experimenting me and my team discovered that some of these abilities come with a cost if overused, most abilities are fine to use as they do not cause any harm to the host, however there are some cases of unknown abilities that allow it's host to manipulate an element of sorts such as fire, these have been shown to cause damage to the host is body if misused and maybe even lead to death, on to you Mr. Riko"]
[[["Wow, that's pretty scary to hear about, is there anything you would like to say Mr. Asashi ?"]]]
[[["Yes there is one last discovery I have yet to share, it's about how the strengths and capabilities of someones ability are determined. We ran some tests on 7 different volunteers with different abilities and noticed that those who were hit by a revolt arrow in vital spots, such as organs have a far more advanced ability than those hit in non vital spots such as legs and arms, we believe this may be due to vital spots having a more important role in the body. We are still currently researching different cases of abilities and their limitations for now, you may expect an update on what we have found by the next week or so. One more thing before I leave, if anyone watching this broadcast has been hit by a revolt arrow and taken more than 72 hours to recover then you must immediately...]]]
An eerie sound cut off the man speaking on the broadcast, the image on the screen began to glitch out and many different colors and frames started flashing as if the camera had been broken, Soro shook his laptop around thinking it was his connection that was failing even tho it was the broadcast it self.
"Come on dammit, work you piece of crap"
Letters began appearing in front of all the colors and frames as they began to darken.
The screen immediately went blank and nothing could be seen or heard.

Except for the first 4 chapters, Book 2 has been moved to Amazon Kindle Unlimited. If you do not have the financial means to purchase the books, then you may DM me on discord through my discord channel for a pdf version of the book. There is only one main protagonist, but the story does have more than one perspective that it is told from. It's mostly first person from the main protagonist and third person perspective for the livestreams. The beginning of the story has also been massively rewritten since most of the reviews as of 1/23/2022. The release schedule right now is dependent on my college classes and coursework, but I always try to keep it to at least one chapter every other day, if not one chapter every day. I do not write sexual content or harem stuff. I am also not very interested in writing romance, so if you think you might see some romance, then you are probably wrong unless it's only a slight hint at romance or a slow romance very far into the story. Lastly, know that I don't like long-winding antagonists that get on everyone's nerves and last throughout the entire story. And I do like plot twists, so if you are predicting something that you think is going to happen later on that you dislike, (particularly around the middle to end of book two) then it likely won't happen.

But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away. When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. At least until the men in Yancy’s squad start losing their minds, turning on each other with murderous intent as the music works its deadly power within them. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source.
