《Sir Skelliton》Downsizing

Usually when someone says they need to talk; it usually means things aren’t going to end well. Thankfully, since she’s your Master and not someone of emotional value, this conversation shouldn’t be too serious.
“I need you to stop being my Minion.”
Turns out you were right. It's not that bad. It's worse. So, so much worse.
...For what reason, my Master?
You are obedient. Loyal. A Minion. It is in your nature to listen to any and all commands.
“You’re scaring everyone. Me as well.”
She averts her eyes as the words come crashing down.
“...and I never wanted to be a Necromancer.”
Spoken at a whisper, they sound like thunder to your nonexistent ears. Your face must have betrayed you. Or your Master was just that insightful. Takes a certain level of skill to read a person with no skin or mussels to show clear emotions.
“It’s not you, really! Your strong, taking down my parents’ proof enough. I mean it’s not every day a Skeleton takes down a Level 60 Head Priest. Twice even. And I can see you're really loyal! I don’t have to worry about you disobeying me.”
Her smile attempts to lighten the blow. Her words would have been enough. If they didn’t ring hollow.
“I just... seeing my life heading in a different direction, you know? It's nothing personal. Really.”
...
Surprising. You struggled seemingly endlessly to get here. Face tribulation after tribulation. One’s external or internal, but an obstacle regardless. You failed a number of times actually. Yet, you pressed onward. Obedient and devoted to the one who raised you in towards undeath. Changing, growing stronger, and developing every step of the way. Until finally, finally, you meet your maker.
Only to be found unfit for duty in less than a day.

...
And yet, you are ever willing to serve.
If that is your wish Master.
But it never occurred to you. Never even entertained the thought. That there was a very real and black order that would leave your Master’s lips. Enough to be soul-crushing to such a simple-minded Minion such as yourself.
She gives a smile. Full of pity. Discomfort. She doesn’t waver regardless.
“Sir Skellington, I relieve you from service. You are no longer my Minion.”
Master Isha has terminated the service contract with Minion Sir Skellington.
The string, one that shown bright and strong since you first arose, disappears. Fundamentally disconnecting you from your Master. Forever.
You’d cry if you could.
Silence falls into the room. You yourself simply sit in your cage. Without purpose. Without meaning. Without life.
The Mas-
...
Isha, stands there awkwardly, shuffling from foot to foot. Her discomfort is apparent. You rest your hand, unable to see her as you stare into the floor of your cage.
Why would you look at her now? She is not the Master. She is not an enemy. And even if she was, so what? You have no reason to defend yourself. Not anymore.
You’re not even hungry.
Footsteps reverberate through the room.
Away from you.
It would seem that Isha was done here.
...
She didn’t even say goodbye.
...
The hollowness in your soul gnaws at you.
...
You haven’t moved.
...
You don’t think.
...
You just lay there.
...
..
.
Isha the N/A would like to establish a Minion Contract.
Do you accept? Y/N

Virtuous Cultivation
-July 10, 2022- Stocked Chapters: 8 I'm out of hiatus, but honestly, I can't trust myself to post consistently anymore... A new arc is about to begin, and I'll start posting again once the entirety is done. It might take a year, but honestly, this story is going to go on for the foreseen future anyway... so I suppose that's just a blip in the grand scheme of things? I'll leave updates here every once in a while, if for some reason you're still actively checking on this incredibly slow story T-T The path of cultivation is often portrayed as one stained by bloodshed. But is that truly necessary? Heaven is merciful, after all. On a rather ordinary day, a peasant girl was whisked away by a strange old man. In a hall of great white jade, she was offered the chance to cultivate. ...too bad she's as lazy as a sloth. Slice of life Xianxia with fairly little action in early chapters, more focused on comedy. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: End of the Five, Twenty-three, and Twenty-nine Years Story
Alternate titles: - Five, Twenty-Three, Twenty-Nine Years - 5, 23, 29 "Dad? I think I got a really bad fever, why do I still feel fine?" "It feels cold..." Five years ago, Owen became a Court Wizard in search of his father who was lost to the unknown three years prior. But that wasn't the beginning of the story. Maybe it began twenty-three years ago when Ronald Bell and Joshua Ruze saved the Illyer family. Or perhaps, it all started twenty-nine years ago, when Ronald, the son of the wealthiest merchant, became a Court Wizard. Well, it doesn't matter anymore, for the story five, twenty-three, and twenty-nine years ago shall now meet its end. 2nd book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Read Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia first. This story is split into two 'Collections,' Ronald's Collection and Owen's Collection, each centering around those Court Wizards. Crossposted with WordPress site, Wattpad, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo.

The Epiphany Colony
Brad Asher has been a private detective on the Epiphany Colony orbiting Mars for about a year before stumbling into a conspiracy that threatens the safety and stability of the colony. Note that the story here is the first draft and has a lot of ideas, characters, and plotlines that I ended up dropping in the final version that I released here currently available on Kindle Unlimited. The entire second half was restructured, as I ended up not being satisfied with some of the things that I introduced and felt like it had strayed too far from my initial vision of a space-based detective noir story.
