Chapter 3: To the dream forest.

Outside the mansion.

Dez stretched his hand and the ring on his finger glimmered for a second and a hoverboard appeared in his hand. This was the latest model: the sky-9000. A metallic beauty, this was the latest, fastest and strongest hoverboard on the market. The normal version alone cost one hundred thousand neo coins. This Sky-9000 that Dez had was a limited edition that can generate a barrier to protect his owner from attack as long as it has energy.

stepped on his hoverboard Dez started to fly to the inner city gate. The city of Leven is surrounded by 2 tall walls. The inner wall and the outward wall. 100 meter high walls that protect against beast hordes that sometimes attack the city. They are so far apart that if you're on the inner wall you won't be able to see the outward wall.

People here Had Great Expectations for Dez that he would surely be someone special. And Dez didn’t disappoint. He was always the best at everything he did.

Approaching the gate some guard approached Dez.

“Young master, are you leaving the city alone?”

“Don’t worry about it. His Majesty knows about this and I’m not going too far. I’m going to the forest of dreams”. Dez replied, pointing at the emerald leaf crest that was flapping its golden wings hanging around his neck like a living thing.

"Teleport me to the East gate."

“Ok Young master, take care of yourself and don’t venture too far.” Said the guard Smiling.

After being teleported Dez appears on the teleportation circle of the east gate. Without wasting time waving his hand Dez hurriedly flew away speeding his hoverboard more than 250 kilometers per hour.

It was his maximum speed without the barrier and he enjoyed it.

The feeling of freedom.

Dez always dreamed of adventure.

To places where no humans had ever gone before.

After 10 minutes of flying at top speed, he saw his 2 friends sitting on their hoverboard waiting for him.

The girl had round pink glasses on and a lollipop in her mouth. She was wearing a black Jersey and a yellow jacket. Whit black pants and brown and black sneakers.

Behind those glasses, she had a beautiful purple eye on the left and the other eye was black.

She had silky black hair cascading all the way down to her waist and the front hair was cut a few inches above her glasses. She had a very cute nose and small rosy lips.

She was Called Suki Loong of the Loong family.

Dez girlfriend. And she was close to turning 12. There had been talk about marriage between families too.

The engagement was a proposal her parents made with the Selklor family. Normally supreme Imperial families try to marry the husband if possible into their family but she was married out into the Selklor family. For girls this is also not rare but her talent is outstanding making this a very hard decision

This was a political move. The long family is very ambitious. They had the strongest empire on this continent Until the Selklor family recently took over that title.

Suki is also the heir to a supreme imperial family, an Imperial family having a very strong Empire under their command.

And the boy beside her was Ethan, one of Dez’s best friends. Ethan was a bit older than the 2 others; he was already 12 years old and 8 months.

Ethan was also the same as Dez and Suki; he was also an heir of a supreme imperial family Which means he is also the son of an Emperor.

Ethan had dark brownish skin. For his age, he was already very muscular dressed in a white turtleneck bodysuit with a black chain with a hanging fist around his neck.

This fist looked like it was made of tiny earthen stones and magma flowing between them. He also had a red jacket that looked like it was made of very sturdy material.

Around each arm, he had 3 silver and gold bracelets and around his feet, he had another 3 more. There were force bracelets.

They attract each other like magnets but on a way bigger scale.

They are used to train the body. a normal man will find it difficult to walk with 4. one on each limb. not even thinking about having 12.

Only an Awakened human would have the physique to use 12 bracelets.

Because the bracelets not only have the pulling force but also the pushing force and the ring will randomly push and pull In random directions constantly making you continually control your body and muscles.

Ethan’s face had a very strong look to it and a manly square jawline.

With spiky dark red undercut hair and some black glasses on. He totally looks like the badass boss you didn’t want to mess around with.

Ethan was the first to jump off his hoverboard. Before he could speak his bracelet activated and he stumbled and nearly fell. But not only did he not fall he ended his stumbling in a masculine pose.

Looking at his funny posture Suki starts to giggle unintentionally shining her unique and charming beauty.

Not giving Ethan too much attention she asked.“You finally came, what took you so long?”

“Well first I had to get permission from my dad and he gave me some tasks to do for him. After that I had to convince my mom too to let me come, long story short. here I am”.

Said Dez walking closer to his friends.

“I want to go in already. Why are we wasting time here chit-chatting, we can speak while we are walking.” Ethan spoke impatiently while walking in front of everyone.

“Come on, let's go. Let’s go guys follow me, today I’m going to catch a Ferocious beast. I will wrestle him to the ground with my arms and make him submit and be my pet.” Ethan said while flexing his muscles.

“Ethan… that’s the wrong direction and there are no Beasts in the dream forest, only small and cute animals.” Said Suki looking at Ethan like he was an idiot.

“Yeah, that is true but not entirely. Ethan, the area of the dream forest we are going to doesn’t have any Ferocious beasts or big animals; we can only see small animals there. Maybe you're mistaken, what you're talking about is the beast sanctuary, which is a private research area even I can't enter.” Dez explained further.

“Anyway I don’t care, let’s go, guys, let’s have some fun.”
