《Skyclad》Books 1 and 2 are now merged on Royal Road!

Not a chapter, but an announcement. Back when I started Skyclad, there wasn't a way to separate fictions into "volumes" on RR. So when i finished book 1, I started a new series for book 2. this meant that a lot of people didn't find Skybound until way later. I was also informed that some people never found it at all, so i'm posting this to ping everyone's notifications if they're still around.
In the time since, they added the functionality of splitting a fiction series into parts. i waited until book 2 was almost done, but now it's time to get ready for book 3, so I asked Kanadaj to merge them. Just posting this heads up so people will know.

Godslayers
In the ancient, brutal days, the Eifni Organization reached heaven through violence and tore the gods from their thrones. Now their methods are more precise. If the "Gods" couldn't be considered "intelligent", the same thing couldn't be said for their children. All of them could think and act on their own. And that's what they did. They quickly realized that among all the other creations, they were unique. Their abilities were nothing like the others. Even among them, siblings, some were clearly above the other ones. Thus, some of the weaker ones, feeling upset about their inability to oppose their siblings, decided to flee. Somewhere very far. And they managed to find something they had never seen before. Something which would change the fate of all of them.

Eliot and Cel start off the same as any other peasant and climb their way to the heavens. At least, that's what a cheesy hook might say, however, Eliot and Cel have always had the attention of the Gods, Eliot longer than Cel but by no God more important. Even if it is their destiny to achieve legend status, they started out some where, and with only the semblance of a head start, not to mention that it makes for an interesting story. (If you decided to read because of a specific tag, some of them only show up later on in the story. I should also mention that romance is a significant focus but there is no romance tag besides the one in genre)

It’s was the end of the world and to be honest from what I’ve heard, life wasn’t too different to the world I know today… Besides the fact that we live online, obviously. I’m still in cyber debt, life from what I hear still sucks as much as it did back then, but maybe, just maybe I can scratch beneath the surface of this disillusioned world and disconnect universally; I might have a chance to experience true life in its purest form.
