Wha- what?!

A large door came before us, then the door opened.

Out came a man dressed in clothes that looked like from the modern world.

Chapter 8: "Him"

The man came close to my dead lifeless mother and I was going to stop him, but I couldn't. His domineering pressure was too strong for me to stand.

He put his hand on my mother's forehead and closed his eyes.

Coming out of his back, chains spread throughout the area.

Eventually, one of the chains stopped and looked like it was pulling something.

That one chain came back to the mysterious man, and my lifeless mother glowed into her normal state.

She returned to life.

Even if that man was just a person who I

just met, I can't count the amount of gratitude I had towards him.

Just from saying him, I remembered the words of Xylephious, Until you meet 'him'

He turned his head to me and as a result, levitating me.

Before I could do anything, I flung towards the door and went inside.

Inside was like something out of a fairy tale, there were different colours of trees, flying creatures, cliffs and hills, and the most noticeable of all, a big mountain in the middle.

The guy who threw me in here came in from the door and closed it.

He was levitating a few millimetres above ground, he looked down at me with a piercing gaze that pummeled me to the ground.

He said, 'I see Xylephious has already given you it's a blessing.'

I knew exactly what he meant, he raised a finger and we teleported to a house. What was strange was there were electric devices that you would find in a normal household in the MODERN world.

He didn't make any comment in my confusion and just sat on the sofa waiting for me to come too.

I sat in front of him waiting for a response, after we sat down he said, 'Hello, you may not know me but, I know you better than anybody.'

My body flinched a bit and he looked at me again with that piercing gaze, he told me 'As you can see, I am an otherworlder just like you, your majesty, King Jeyn.'

He saw my coolheaded act crumble to the ground as he unexpectedly tells me that.

My pupils shook as if there were an earthquake, I just froze.

I didn't know what to do in that situation.

The mysterious man told me to calm down.

I heard that and immediately did.

The mysterious man told me a couple of things about him.

Firstly, the name of this mysterious young-looking man was Garth.

He also told me that, unlike his young appearance, he is a few centuries old.

From my experience in this world, I can believe that.

The third thing that he told me was, he was also an otherworlder, but Garth was different, he went into this world through a summon with 2 of his friends.

Apparently, his 2 friends were a couple with a 6 years old son.

The fourth thing he told me was that he had already turned into a demigod from all the experience and power he had accumulated from this world through a couple of centuries.

The last thing he told me was, "The Seven deadly sins are coming back to give clear and terror to the world"

"The Seven deadly sins"

"Pride"

"Greed"

"Lust"

"Envy"

"Gluttony"

"Wrath"

and.. "Sloth"

These are the behaviours that command further sins. Every sin is passed down to generations, it can be passed upon all races, demons, Beastmen, Humans, Dwarves, Elven alike.

There are many legends about these sins.

Such as Beelzebub, the Ruler of mosquitoes. The commander of Gluttony.

Lucifer, The king of hell, Commander of Wrath.

Lilith, The mother of Succubus, The commander of lust.

The nine-tailed fox, The being of wealth, the commander of Greed.

Medusa, The Cursed Witch, The snake-haired beauty, The commander of Envy.

Aergia, She is the Personification of sloth, Blessed with great power and intelligence, but no responsibilities with it, The commander of Sloth.

The Lragion, an ancient Dragon with the head of a Lion, the Ruler of the desert, The commander of Pride.

These ancient beasts are some of them.

I won't be facing them because those who were mentioned are those who had the original sins, They were already born with time.

Instead, the Commanders of the sins I am going to face is.. Their predecessors.

They are not their children, but those who have been chosen by those sins.

The names of these Commanders are,

Arthur, the fallen king, the commander of envy.

The hydra, The nine-headed Earth dragon, The commander of Wrath.

Cleopatra, The lustful queen, the assassination of emperors, The commander of lust.

The Kraken, The Ruler of the seas, The Apex of the Ocean, the giant octopus, and the commander of Gluttony.

King Midas, the cursed golden hand, in the myths and legends, King Midas was cured, but the truth is very far from that.

Just after his daughter turned to gold because of his own greed, The God of the underworld, Hades, told Midas a promise, a promise to turn back his daughter, have the wealth of the whole world, and immortality.

Everybody thought that Midas had already learnt his lesson, but all of the generous acts was a facade for the upcoming plan that he had. After everyone in his generation passed away, Midas, with his greed, controlled the Abbys of the world with the wealth he had gotten.

Therefore, Midas, the cursed hand, The commander of Greed.

The Griffin, with of its body covered with different apex beasts, was rightfully the king of beasts, The Ruler of the Animal kingdom, The commander of Pride.

Last but not least, King Ceasar, not a human king, but a beast one, the kaiju, who helped one of the strongest beasts, Godzilla, take down his mechanical rival, The commander of Sloth.

These Commanders are sins that, I have to take down, which sounds impossible.

I turned my head toward Garth, and he immediately knew what I was thinking and shook his head.
