《Ariana: Weakest Reincarnation》Chapter 5 Kingdom of humanity

I waited in the inn as Stella was out training.
It's so boring! I really want to explore the town, well it's more of a city I guess. I pace around the room but couldn't think of something to entertain myself.
Maybe I could put on my cloak and explore this kingdom a bit? She did say to stay in here but this boredom is too much for me. This world doesn't have any entertainment like my old world did.
I would decide I would explore and put on my cloak and head outside. I exit the inn and walk into the streets of this fantasy kingdom. In the background there was a large castle, stores and stands were at the sides of the road.
I was excited to walk around and actually get a chance at this fantasy-like world. Being in that room was way too boring and felt like my last life. I needed some fresh air.
I wondered if there were dragons, elves, and other crazy creatures in this world. My interest in this world was rising more than it was before.
I walked around the kingdom and watched the interaction of people in the streets. It got boring after a while so I decided to start to walk back to the inn before she came back.
I made my way back but I wasn't paying attention and bumped into someone and fell back on the ground.
I got up and apologized but I froze when I looked at the person.
White hair, pale skin, white clothes, almost like robes, he looked like a young man.
He looked down at me being way taller than me. His face then turned to disgust. His face made my body tremble and my heart pound hard.
Why was I so terrified by him from a look. I then noticed my hood came off. It must have happened when I fell on the ground.
“Huh, red hair, red eyes and pointy ears… Hmm your no human are you? Are you a monster sent to cause trouble in our kingdom? That must be it so, your planning on attacking the citizens of the kingdom right?” The man said without giving me a chance to speak. Who is this guy.
I wasn't able to speak as I was too scared to. This guy was just assuming things from looks alone, is he crazy or something.

Others would be looking our way but wouldn't get near us, like they were used to this happening. Now I know what Stella was talking about. I shouldn't have gone outside. I'm scared.
“Hey, you just going to stand there, or are you going to attack me?” He said. I looked at him confused, did he just ask me to attack him.
I just stood there frozen, my body was shaking and my legs were about to fall apart on me.
“Huh… Nothing? Fine I guess i'll have to make the first move” He would begin to walk up to me. He walked up and close to me, glaring at me with so much violence with that calm looking face.
He raise his hand in the air, with his fingers straight out. My body refuses to respond to my crys to run. The next thing I knew, his hand was down to his waist on the other side of body. Like he swung his hand, he was wiping his hand off now.
I would then stumble back as the shaking of my body got worse. It wasnt just shaking from fear now. I would look down and see blood pouring from a slash in my chest.
My eyes were shaking as I looked at the slash. My mind was scrambling on what to do. I would collapse backwards. The man just stared at me, like I was just an insect that he had to get rid of.
“Huh, were you really that weak? You didn't even notice me swing at you” He said unamused.
My vision was getting blurry and I was losing consciousness. Was this it… I just got started in this world. I don't want it to end now.
I'm scared, I’m s-scared… Someone help me, it hurts, it hurts…
My body was screaming in pain as I lay on the ground. It was hard to breathe and blood was dripping from my mouth.
The man was standing next to me and staring down at me.
“So the monsters already down? I guess I should be kind and end your suffering” Everyone in the background was just watching. Some didn't seem to care, and some could have cared but didn't want to risk their lives on helping a stranger, I can't really blame them.

He would raise his hand and swung his hand down right at me. I closed my eyes as it came at me. A sound of something like metal being hit, echoed out. I slowly opened my eyes.
Stella was in front of me, her staff was used to block the hit. But the staff was slammed against her forehead and on one knee due to the man's hand slamming into it. Blood poured down her forehead, my body shook from fear that she was badly hurt.
“A-are y-you ok?” She stuttered out.
My body was frozen still, my vision started to blur as I lost consciousness.
What happened? Is she ok? Was this my fault? Do I deserve someone as kind as her?
I would awaken, opening my eyes and looking around. I was in a room filled with books and all sorts of magical looking items.
“Oh you're awake” an unfamiliar voice says to me.
I would look over to where the voice came from. It was a young man with silver hair in a magician's clothes.
“Uh, who are you?” I asked him.
“Oh my apologizes, I'm Stella's teacher, you may call me Agilan”
“Ok, may I ask where I am, Agilan?”
“You are in my study”
“Oh ok, so what happened?”
“Well, I was walking with Stella and she just ran away out of nowhere and saved you from Raymon, one of the strongest knights in the kingdom. Your lucky I was there or she would have just been killed with you” He said.
“Yeah… Thank you for that” I then realized.
“Wait, where is Stella?” I was worried if she was badly injured because of me.
“I just started treating her. She told me to treat you first” He says. “I'll show you to her if you'd like, but your injuries are still healing so take it easy” He would then lead me to her. The wound was hurting a bit but felt a lot better than when I first got it.
I walked into the room where she was, she was laying on a bed asleep. She had bandages wrapped around her face which covered most of it.
My body shivered at the view of it, it was my fault this happened to her. The guilt was eating at me. I was a naive fool who didn’t take either of what they said seriously.
“So, when will she recover?” I asked him.
“With my magic, she should be recovering soon”
“Ok…” I said pondering on what I’ve done.
“May I ask a question?’ I said.
“Sure”
“How do you feel about monsters?” I had a hard time letting that out, I was rubbing my fingers together to help ease my nervousness.
“Ah, that's a logical question to ask considering the kingdom your in. My opinion doesn't trump my student’s safety, but to let you know my opinion on monsters is if they cause harm to others, then they are bad. As simple as that” What he said reassuring me.
“Ok… I was just curious that's all, thank you for helping me… and Stella”
We would end that awkward conversation there. I would be thinking about what I should do, the thought of running away so I cant cause her trouble came to my mind a few times. But is that really the right thing to do? Runaway from my problems?
My mind was in a panic about what to do, I'm just a regular girl that was thrown into this world of course I wouldn't know what to do.
I was on the verge of breaking down. Agilan would then walk back up to me.
“I can tell you're blaming yourself for Stella getting hurt. It's ok to blame yourself in reason so you can grow from it. But if you blame yourself too much, it ends up only hurting everyone you care about”
His words made sense, I calmed down a bit and was able to think clearly about this. I decided to not run away from my problems and aimed to better myself over this.
“Thank you, Agilan”
“It's no problem, I’m a teacher, it's what I do” He said to me.
After a few hours, Stella would regain consciousness and rushed to her balling out and screaming sorry to her.
She would simply smile and accept my apology.

Agenda of the Villainess
As the daughter of a duke, Lady Alicia Senius expected to awaken her latent magical ability during her Blooming ceremony. She was not expecting her connection to the flowers of Fate to awaken memories of a past life, however, and certainly not memories that were somehow inextricably tied with her future. Now, Alicia must find a way to escape the fatal punishment that is the destiny of a villainous noble girl. In doing so, she might even alter the fate of the whole world. This novel is a steampunk take on the otome villainess genre, heavily inspired by the late Victorian era of England and with a system of magic based around floweral circuitry. If that sounds like your cup of tea, why not give it a shot? Updates on Thursday every week.

8 186Game of Thrones FANFIC: Lycan
A man reborn in GOT and received the Corvinus Bloodline and the fate of the Lycan. Reborn in Stark House. A junction of the world and plot of Game of Thrones, with elements coming from elsewhere especially Underworld, however, the form and power of Lycan in this story will be new, new limits will be delimited. I'm Brazilian, my first language is Portuguese, be prepared for bad English. (Someone read this novel? yes? write something, please, thanks). *Insect of responsibility. The base story doesn't belong to me, it's just a fan-created by a fan. The only thing I have is my original characters and my idea.
8 547I can summon my past lives
What would you do if you were the only cultivator on the planet? What would you do if you could summon the soul bodies of your previous lives and leech off of their experiences? For the first time in my boring life, I finally saw the light. I was given the mission to become the strongest by any means necessary. Lucky for me, my past lives were quite badass in their respective universes during their prime until their untimely deaths...well most of them, I think. Their experiences remolded the current me to become their best version. I learned something: As powerful as they were, they still died for one reason or another until it was ultimately my time to live. In this life, I vow to learn from their mistakes and live forever. Besides, there must be a reason this {Requiem System} I got was given to me in this life. I am scared I am the last life to be reincarnated. If I die, there won’t be another do over. And why would I die if my reincarnations are also invested in this life as I am? They came with their powers intact...just that they lack a physical body which I am happy to share. With beings that strong at my beck and call, I think the bar that I must surpass had been raised a little bit too high. I am called Damon Kaze and I welcome you to this journey of my last reincarnation of mine. I can’t guarantee it’ll be your cup of tea, but hey, sometimes you never get what you wish for. You just have to live with it and hope for the best.

“Hello! My humble audience! I, the Bard of the North, am going to tell you a tale. Nothing new, nothing old. A story of a hero, some may say, others a poor boy who was hated by the world.” The storyteller paused as he waited, right timing was everything when telling a story. Pacing… Too slow and the audience became bored then left without tossing even the smallest of coins. If he spoke too fast and rushed the story. It would leave the audience confused and having no reason to be impressed. So like any good storyteller, the Bard has to do a balancing act of sorts. Not too slow, not too fast. Just perfectly in the middle. “In a shattered country in the south, a novice princeling has the ambition to mend a torn tapestry that is his birthplace. Struggling to fend off those who would usurp the throne in an unending civil war spanning centuries. A mercenary that left only death in his wake, unable to stave off the monotony and peace of life. He looks back at the path laden with bodies, wondering if it was all worth it. Wandering souls summoned by a madman, travel away from a wasteland in a foreign land, the first alone, the others as companions. A deity, ancient in her years, waiting to be freed from a duty she no longer enjoys. For all these people and their stories, none are the hero of this tale. No, the hero is not grand, not wise, not ready.. he was punished for nothing of his doing, who was an outcast that was unloved by many, including his father.” This was always the big reveal novices use to jump off into their story. He did not start here, instead, like any good fishermen, he set the bait and waited until the fish bit before pulling. As he saw the audience's eyes focus, he then started the backstory. The harness, that stopped the listeners from having metaphorical whiplash. The foreshadowing. “But that is not where the story starts. No, not even the hero's birth. Where the story begins, is the boredom of the deity, a deity many know of. She who hunts for the impossible, the guide for those who have lost the path, the Huntress of Mallon--” A small pause, a short breath. “--All old names for a single powerful being that has roamed the grounds of this continent longer than any line of kings or queens, lords or ladies. A being of worship for many an individual…” One last breath. And he began singing the first verse.
