“Well that’s new, I didn’t get a shut-in who does nothing but watch tv all day… Well, You're a shut-in, but at least you're trying to do something with your life. Oh wait I forgot the were” A strange girl with dark red hair said to me.
I seemed to be in a dark world of some kind with this redhead and me being the only one in it.
“Uh… Where am I, am I dead, are you a god?!” I panicked.
“Calm down a bit, I'll explain it to you so don’t panic so much. Panic after I explained it to you heh he” She giggled, how rude.
“First, yep you're dead, second no, I don’t consider myself a god. Even if I’m pretty much the same level as them. Way too much responsibility for me” She jokes about it.
What, I mean who exactly is this lady, some kind of god maybe?
“So uh... Then why am I here?” I asked.
“Oh that, I just felt like it. Was kind of bored you know” What! That was the reason? This makes me so angry that I'm shaking.
“Now now, don't be so mad, it's not like this is a waste of your time. Because I’m going to have you reincarnated! How exciting, right?!” She roared out. I could only stare dumbfounded by this.
“Wow you seem very surprised by this,” She said.
“How would I not, I was just brought here and I’m expected to just restart in another world I know nothing about!” I scream out of emotion.
“Yep” She said to me without a hint of thought.
My body was shaking, but I knew I couldn't just cry and break like this.

“Fine then” I mumble to her.
“Aw, don’t be so sad. It's not like I'm just going to put you in a new world with nothing” She said, I would look up to her. I am a bit calmer now.
“Really?” I ask.
“Yep, I’ll give you a few skills, but that’s pretty much it” She said to me.
“Ok…” I didn’t know what to say right now. It's not like my last life was too interesting anyways. All I did was study, and for what! Bad grades, I didn’t have any skills at tests or remembering things.
“I’m ready” I said to her.
“Good, this chat was getting boring anyway. But before you go ill at least tell you this.
This is a world with what you would call magic. But it's not really anywhere close to a game at all. So if you try it as one, you could get really hurt” She said in a serious tone. It made me shiver a bit.
“But other than that, have fun and do your best to entertain me” She went back to her carefree attitude.
“But before you go I'll show you what one kind of magic looks like” She raised her hand and glowing words would appear in the air in front of her hand. But I couldn't read any of them.
“Welp that's all now, bye” She would say and the world went dark around me.

When the first reports came in of infected animals dragging people alive off into the forest... then the real panic began. Towns fell to the Blight, then cities. Armies were sent to push it back, and were overrun. Heroes and legends ventured out, to no avail. Soon, it was public knowledge to all: Those who entered the forest, never returned. ...So what happens when a young boy comes out of the forest, carrying nothing but a dagger and remembering nothing but his own name?
