As dawn began to arise,

I stand atop on a balcony of my room,

Along with the gust of spring breeze and the redolence of the freshly brewed coffee.

I held it between both of my slightly chilled hands, in that moment I paused to recall the events of last week, I can't believe I bumped into her, I can still recall her fragrance, and the brief contact of my right shoulder and her chest.

I hurried and chug down the cup of latte to ease my thoughts before I indulge into indecency.

Probably by now, everyone must have a grasp of what romance is. Many have experienced it, some never. Love isn't exactly perfect, it can hurt you, at worst case scenario it will literally break you.

Everyone wants a perfect love life, to meet the perfect someone that would love you till death and on, a happily ever after, an everlasting warmth,and love that goes beyond.Hha...bullshit that's all nonsense, it only exist on fairy tales and fiction. Here I am dissimulating to myself, a hypocrite.

It's better not think about it since I'm in a fictional world now, but there's still a million problems, I guess it's not any better.

Gazing out of the window, dramatically monologuing to myself.

“You like to observe people don't you?”

I tend to let my guard down when I'm in this monologuing mood so that kinda surprised me a bit.

“Shuiro stop sneaking up like that” I said with slight discomfort.

“Haha Sorry! Did you really not here me going in?” Shuiro apologized half hearted.

“Im in my thinking mood shut up” I said returning my focus at the window, waiting for someone.

“Welp, It's good you're calling me by my first name now” he said, also shifting his focus at the window.

We've been doing this for a week now, Shuiro would come inside my classroom and would watch people passing through the gate with me, I have a hunch of what's in his mind, let me remind you, his the second lead. I decided to confront him.

“So uhh, who is it?” I spoke nonchalantly, making eye contact.

“Can I ask how?” he spoke back making firm eye contact.

“Because we are the same...” I replied looking back down to the passing students.

“I see...thanks for answering my question, but I don't think I can reply to yours” Shuiro replied vulnerably like he was trying to say I'm sorry.

It's understandable, but I felt guilty for knowing who it is. I can't hate him, she's just so...sigh. I can relate to Shuiro, we are fated to have unrequited love in this world, the one I like might not be the originally intended character since I'm suppose to like the male lead, but either way it will be just the same.

“I like her too” I said without any regrets, letting the cat out of the bag.

“Huh? her?too?” Shuiro seemed quite surprised with mixed confusion.

“Don't you like Nozomi too?” I said in confusion.

“I don't though...if you mean platonically then yes ..” I looked at him, he's not lying.

“Hah I guess this is awkward for me” I said avoiding eye contact.

“So...Nozomi?”he giggles.

“I thought you liked Kaizan” he added.

“Wtf stop joking around ” I replied with the most disgusted face I could make, even I was surprised I could be that disgusted.

“Want me to be your wingman?” he offered.

“Nah no thanks, I know how to ask a girl out” I declined.

“You have experience?”

“Yes of course” if manga counts that is.

If this was the past me I wouldn't be this confident, but since I got nothing to lose then why not?

“What if I told you that I can predict the future” I said, this might be a stupid idea but I'm stupid so ...

“Yeah right, then tell me who Nozomi and Kaizan likes” he said jokingly.

“That's not even a prediction but okay, Mutual...” I replied seriously.

“Huh? Stop kidding around lol”

“They like eachother” I said even more serious than before

This time he believed me. His vermilion red eyes somewhat looked sad, so does he like Nozomi? He denied it, wait...oh I see...does he mean him?

Wait how is that even possible? I'm 100% sure that he liked Nozomi. I guess one thing changed, but that doesn't mean it's going to get requited. Even with those denials, I know that I still hoped, lingering deep Inside.

“That's the bell, I'm going to go now” Shuiro left the classroom.

“Sure see you later”

I shifted my focus back to the window, I've just been waiting for Nozomi to pass that black metal gate. Its seems that she's lat- there she is. Cotton candy pink hair, she was out of breath and have a few bed hair on her. Even the way she runs is cute. I wonder what got her late haha. Before I knew it I was smiling to myself. A gay's distress.
