《Do The Wyrm》Chapter 1.4: New Songs and Sights

Eldritch classes are some of the most strange phenomenon many studies of the system have encountered. A class that foucses on the destruction of our understanding of reality. While still being anchored to it through the system. The apparent contradiction between these roles have led many to look at the system in a vastly different way before. And many have sported a number of theories in order to explain it! Though few have ever been completely accepted. It remains that barring certain circumstances, most eldritch classes are heavily restricted.
-Secret Cultist Yeo'thu of the Ancient Order of the Blood Gods
The bog wyrm looked at its. What? Mother? With incredible confusion.
The first thing that was confusing it was the fact that somehow, it had a mother. It didn't remember clearly, but it was fairly sure none of the wyrms in the room(including the big afront against nature) a( held what could be considered a gender. And b( It was sure its and every other wyrms conception was a strict one person affair.
So finding a 'mother' who had cut it in half was extremely confusing and worrying to the young wyrm. Especially that now was effectively half its strength.
Our hero meanwhile was still high off its own pain. Swaying its head back anf forth slightly as its healing and bleeding out fought with each other.
It seemed to be in the favor of healing so far. Given that it now held a wopping ten HP.
Most of the blood had dried considering that, and new purple scales made up of a fine but squishy substance was filling the numerous cracks that wrapped around its body.
But there was an even more exciting event unfolding.
A Level Up.

Of course in actuality it was several level ups, but don't let that technicality ruin the magic. It was an important step for our young wyrm.
And probably the last step as the eldritch being cosplaying as a wyrm mother turned toward her summoner and lifted a toothy finger.
Yep, finger. This women had fingers for days!
Quite literally, long rows of fingers formed from teeth came out of impossibly small hands, a glowing blue symbol of a headless duck imprinted into the supple yet firm skin. Several eyes wrapped around her head, her face a massive maw that was exact same as a classic wyrm.
Her arms were covered in chitinous armor shaped like a lizards scales. Light and danty, they shimmered in the light that was present in the cavern. A dark pukish green that fractured small rays of light into shards of discolored energy.
A gaping darkness that could see was present within the maw, acting like eyes as it looked at the small creature that had summoned it.
Its torso was covered in a handknitten jacket. The cloth a level of comfortable on the glass shard like skin that began around her shoulders and ended at the tipes of her feet and the base of her neck.
A small point of magical energy flowed out of her finger. Turning into a fourth dimensional rectangle, a rush of magical power flowed from her body and into the symbol. The spell quickly expanding as it quickly reached the size of a small human toddler.

The spell quickly grew a dull red as it reached completion. With a snap of her fingers, a ray of flame that burned as bright as blinking eyes as life faded. The ray of destruction shot towards the little bardic wyrm in a blink of an eye. Had the wyrm's speed been what the eldritch being gave it credit for.
It might have had success in conquering the world like an eldritch boss.
Instead, the wyrm had just enough intelligence to realize it was being attacked, enough speed to react, and enough madness to use a second Bardic Inspiration.
With a twirl like neverbefore the wyrm shot out and did a triple backflip as it dodged the ray of killing flam ein an instant. The spell destroyed the corpse it lay on in an instant showered the bog wyrm near it with small chunks of flesh and rubble.
As the tiny wyrm shot towards the ground at high speeds. Almost certainly enough to reduce its remaining HP to zero. A green blur shot forward and seemingly consumed the wyrm.
But it had not.
For you see! As that wyrm which had saved our tiny hero, a green emerald wyrm to be precise. Flipped forward and landed with a stylish pose and a flex that caused its scales to slightly crack from the strength and pure narrative power of the action
A much more tiny wyrm landed on its head in an instant. With a new hat to boot as well, don't ask me where it came from. A shiny red hat with two feathers on its cap, a brown strand wrapping around its midsection. And a single discounted blue gem lodged in the middle of it. The tiny hat fit snuggly on its new owner and added perfectly to its style.

With a flick of its head, a bead of sweet that hadn't been there before was flung onto the ground and into the eye of a particularly lucky orange wyrm. Its eye squeezed shut before opening with a vast snap of force.
The eye now shone with an enlightenment that could peer between stars.
Almost as if on cue. Three large stalagmites fell from the caverns large and imposing ceiling. They were made of dusty and suspiciously fragile rock, with a black oil inside the many cracks.
As they hit the ground with a crack, a sharp spark flew from the resulting forces and ignited the oil. causing a massive explosion that shone behind the new much more cooler and stylish duo.
The wyrms in the room were shocked.
The world was unconcerned.
And the eldritch wyrm mother slowly put her hand to her face in disbelief.
Bards were the worst.
