Seriously Jorge, why must we send all the reports so mechanically 14:12
If we don't, Monica starts b-tching around all day. Besides, it is easier to read and saves time. You would go nuts after reading hundreds of reports full of unnecessary stuff 14:13
Fine! but it's still a pain to write 14:13
How did it go? 14:14
Fine, I guess. Better than we expected and worst than we hoped. They could hold their own, but they slowly lost ground as time went by 14:15
At least, you got out fine 14:15
No problem there. As soon as the fight started, I caught the money and ran away as fast as I could 14:16
Did the teleport work fine? 14:17
Yeah, no problem there. Vomit a little after the teleportation but that is normal. Did we really have to dispose of all that money? It feels like a waste 14:19
You know they could be marked, right? it was too risky for so little 14:19
I wouldn't say 3millions is little, but I get it. It still feels like a waste of money though 14:20

We waste money in stupid stuff all the time, what is a little more? We spend 50millions a few months back because you wanted a playroom 14:22
Point taken. And don't act like you don't use it from time to time 14:22
I was trying to make a point! 14:23
Fine fine 14:23
Anyways, how many came back? 14:24
Half, some died after the ceiling fell down and others were captured 14:25
Did the pills work? 14:25
Phil said they worked fine. Poor guys 14:26
Yeah, but nothing we can do about it. If we didn't put a safety measure, everything could be compromised. Besides, they knew what was at risk, they should have tried harder 14:28
Still, it doesn't leave a good after taste 14:29
Don't feel so bad. At least, we got a lot of useful data out of it 14:29
Yeah, but was it worth it? 14:30
Yes it was 14:30

Eldritch Entity On A Journey Of Self-Discovery
Shold'ler has made a reality before. It was pretty messy, the physics didn't work properly, and his designs were just terrible. This place has flawless physics, a whole set of natural laws, and the most detailed everything he's ever seen. The air moves sometimes (but not all the time), the grass has layers underneath it, and the trees sometimes have things living in them. All things considered... it's depressingly good. What's he supposed to do here?
8 198Reincarnated as a Red Dragon
(Currently on a permanent Hiatus!) Arthur was a loner in life. He was also a big D&D nerd. He was murdered in a burglary gone wrong. Arthur awoke to see in front of him, a woman, who explained he was going to be reincarnated into the world of D&D! And as luck would have it, also as an Ancient Red Dragon. Follow the thoughtful MC as he makes his way through the magical world as a dragon, in his own way! (This is a D&D fiction, Set in a classic D&D world, with the MC being reincarnated into an ancient red dragon from D&D. This is also my very first written story ever, so bear with me. Thanks for reading!) Photo by Adam Wilson on Unsplash!
8 149A Virtual Invasion
An invasion from another dimension is shut down by an Empire's traitor and the world has a scant few decades to build the strength to resist a multidimensional Empire. How will the world fair when no one even knows its doom is one barred gate away? Fortunately, the traitor has a plan. Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.

There were rumors circling around. Some people are acquiring and exhibiting some kind of "supernatural abilities". Most of them tried to hide. But, some of these people still got caught in some cameras, making it viral on the internet. But people thought of these as hoax or fake. That's until someone step up and proclaim he is one of the 'specials'. And he called himself, a cultivator. Since then, the cultivators became famous celebrities, anyone wanted to become like them. A year after the so called cultivators became a norm. A voice spoke to every living person on the planet. Announcing the return of the real and the strongest cultivators. The people who survived fighting different monsters and beast from different dimensions. They are the real cultivators. Among these returnees, there are seventy-two people who stood at the apex of the world. And among these people, there are seven who was known as "Supremes". On top of a city, the space in the sky was ripped and a passage like hole appeared. Then, a man in his mid-twenties fell and landed on top of a building. Overlooking the modern place that he didnt see for more than a decade, he smiled and breathed a sigh. Behind him, people started appearing and slowly stood behind him. He is the most hated, the most savage, and the most strongest cultivator among the "Supremes". The leader of the the strongest clan in the planet. And he's back to protect this planet he once called "home".
