《The tribal queen and the Medic》11.5

This image is from around 12 days into when Jasion was helping the Amazons with their injured warriors. In exchange, they offered to let some of his fellow soldiers go free.

Pelana was trying to learn about human culture from Tanua as she had read a lot of looted human books. They were talking about how humans mated and coupled when Tanua brought up the topic of humans going on these weird things they called “Dates”. Tanua explained that humans would dress up in nice clothes, put on make-up and then ask the person they loved to spend time alone with them.

Pelana liked this idea and in an attempt to win over Jasion’s love she dressed in war paint and some traditional native attire and decided to ask him out.

Jasion was trying to sneak down to the river before Pelana saw him so he could have a bath by himself. He was wearing some clothes that Pelana had given him, he was 90 percent sure that they were clothes she had snagged of a dead body of some soldier, but she said otherwise and at this point, he had to go along with that.

As Jasion was nearing the river he heard the noise of something rustling around in the bushes. Before he could react Pelana had already pounced on him and pushed him to the ground. She sat on top of him holding a spear, dressed in war paint and a purple and blue feathered headdress. He was terrified as she sat on his leg, her face red with blush.

“You, I demand you go on a date with me!” She said, her facing growing even redder. Being from a culture without dating she had never once asked someone on a date before, meaning for one of the few times in her life she was shy and unsure of herself. Jasion looked at her, very confused and slightly scared.

“s…s…sure” He muttered out, seeing her grip tighten around the spear. He felt as if he had no other choice but to go on a date with her.

It is safe to say that Jasion went on a very strange date with the Amazon woman. Not knowing what they were meant to do on a date, Pelana spent the next few hours bathing and relaxing with Jasion in the nearby lake (something they did on a daily basis anyway). One good thing that came out of it though was that Pelana now believed that she had formed more of a connection with Jasion, something he also felt but not as intensely as her.
