Kuronagi walked on the road as he regreted to lost his map. But he already memorise the map, he was now heading his way towards a small village.
He would make a stop before heading to Gilnad. The village was the first point before he would reach the port town. The sun radiated as he began to sweat. The journey seems long for him.
★☆★☆
Monsters tend to passed by him as if they didn't notice his presence. His 'invisibility' made his journey a little safe since he wasn't attacked by monsters that passed by him.
But he became lonely as he walked. When he left Liliana, he became sad because she was his first companion. He like the days when he talked to her. But when she looked at him, he felt that she wasn't gonna be his friend anymore. He didn't knew what it meant. If he knew love, he would regret leaving her. He only knew friendship and companionship.
His dream of having at least 10 friends will never come true. The journey was silent as Kuronagi had rested near a shade of the tree. He slowly read a book he bought at a store. The letters were german as he read the book. In his spare time, he begun to study languages from all over the world. He can speak and write about half of the languages of the world. If he can have a job a translator, the people would be shocked that he could speak their own language perfectly.
He read the title '100 ways to get a friend' as he began to read the pages. He then threw the book angrily as he read the first page 'step 1: have a friendly coversation'.
"I don't fucking know what 'frienly coversation means'!"
He then burn the book as he began crying.

(How can people talk so easily?)
Kuronagi became insolated as he remembered the time he started his first coversation. When he was in elementary school, he started to walked towards a girl. After he touch her, she began yo run away from him. He never knew why she ran away as he didn't notice the girl was blushed red. Since then he kept talking to people but no one notice him as he was only passed by.
Kuronagi even asked for advice from the internet, only to make his situation worse. He began to study and train physically. If the girls were to see his upper body, they would faint because of his well-toned muscular body. But he knew that even he worked hard, no one would notice him.
As he began to depress even deeper, a loud voice erupted his depression.
"Kyaa!!"
A feminine scream had emerge from the forest as Kuronagi rush towards the forest.

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge

The Twelve
In a world marred by the supernatural, Japan suffers from its own fair share of evil and demonic disasters, with generations of shamans known as Onmyoji protecting their homeland from these forces of evil. Capable of wielding magic and using spirits of their own, these shamans were not only skilled in battle, but also divination. However, they were unable to correctly predict Japan's loss in World War Two, and suffered the punishments that followed. Persecuted and torn apart by infighting, the Onmyoji reunited under the banner of the Tsuchimikado clan, descendants of Abe no Seimei, one of the greatest Onmyoji to ever live. The Onmyoji began to rebuild and to regrow. Ren is the sole heir to the Tsuchimikado family, but has been unable to practice Onmyodo ever since his birth, even though he possesses the greatest ability in the family. But when disaster befalls his family, Ren has nobody to turn to, and no idea how to use his powers. As he journeys to escape the same fate his family faced and attempts to learn how to use his powers, there is only one question on his mind; as the Tsuchimikado heir, how can he save the Onmyoji... from themselves? ---------------------------------------------- note from author: I'm writing this based loosely on the very real theories of Onmyodo, and so my writing may not be a truthful or accurate depiction of Onmyodo or other related areas, such as religion, for instance. That is why, while depicted in the real world, events that happen may seem unrealistic and it may be easier to imagine it as a parallel universe that is the same as ours, but with slight differences so that my possible errors will be easier to overlook. Sorry, and thanks!
