Looking out of the window I couldn't let of sigh, this desolate planet has a unique charm. Don’t matter what planet I go to, I always get excited, maybe that's why I decided to become an archaeologist. In this space age I always go on different planets to see if I can find traces of something or a civilization but I never expected to find a real ruin in my life, Gaia station is a combination of scientists of the whole union with the objective of exploring the secrets of the universe and news technologies.

One of our probes fell last year on this planet, and with one of the last images taken revealed a monument, anyway, i was sent here to research. My dream always was to be a scientist and work at the Gaia research station, when i was born they gave me the name of Ícaro from greek history and by chance of destiny I was always a child very curious, I spent every night looking at stars, my parents encouraged me to follow this path and more than 40 years later I am here, I realized my dream and I’m about to enter one of the first alien ruins of the history.

I finally arrived, taking all the necessary equipment, releasing the exploration car from the garage, open the exit and drive to the ruins marked on the map. During the trip, doing some tests I realized that it has 3.932 m/s², almost the gravity of Mars with approximately the same atmosphere, it could be a planet very good for a colony in the future, I hope that they let me name it. Coming closer to the monument I realized that they are two huge structures that look like a black horn with about 1.5 km of high each one, my heart flutters just looking it seems like anytime a giant demon mythological will get up and end it all, undoing my reverie, I have to admit that it is magnificent. Approaching what appears to be an entrance, get out of the car, I open the storage and get some more equipment oxygen cylinders, ropes and some devices, arriving at the structure I do an experiment like carbon dating but more complicated to measure the age. When the result is ready my heart goes into shock this has been here for over 70 million years, how is this still standing!!

After sending the data to the ship I enter the structure, it has a little more than 3 meters and takes a corridor, entering on it I turn on my trage flashlight and see a ladder that leads down, I wasted time going down, maybe 20 or 30 minutes until I reached a giant room about 20 meters high and endless, I mark the end of the stairs with a rope and move on, after a few minutes walking I notice several huge cubes scattered with pictures engraved on them. I start recording all this, can be texts from other civilizations, going further ahead I see the biggest cube without engravings or anything just an opening with a meter and a half, not being able to hold my curiosity I bow and enter, inside it, right in the center there is a pillar with a ball and floating on it radiating a light blue light, I was totally attracted to that thing it was like I was hypnotized, one step in front of the other I approached and held out my hand for the ball when I touched it I realized what I had done but it was too late, in less than a second the cube lights up, everything lights up, was the last thing i remembered before blacked out.

it was just another day in the observation room we had just contacted Apolo we were all excited about this discovery it was going to be a milestone in the history of humanity but suddenly I get a warning

"NOTICE NOTICE we are detecting vast amounts of energy coming from the APOLO SHIP"

"get in touch with the apolo cameras let's see what is causing this" says the director in the room, when the image appeared we were speechless, the alien structures were glowing blue the planet went from red to blue, the probes we sent were picking up signals the whole planet, as if the planet was waking up from a long sleep, and in the blink of an eye everything was gone in a spectacular explosion.

We captured images from probe 854-C of a possible ruin from another civilization ... We sent one of the best archaeologists to it .......
