《Titans》Ba'al

Amos landed first. There was no competition, but he still smirked at being faster. Cassandra touched down next to him, sparks flying off her hair. She was as regal as she could have been, and Amos was glad they turned out the way they had.
"Was there any reason to touch down here?" She asked, arms crossed.
Amos's smile faded. "Oh."
Cassandra rolled her eyes. "Well, let's not exert ourselves with superfluous takeoffs. I'm not quite used to flying on my own power. At least it's hot as Etras down here, I feel right at home."
Amos turned, and scanned the horizon. "Whatever Cin chose to come here had some reason. Think it's because of the ether density?" Amos hadn't even checked what the desert felt like. Ether sensitivity was easier for Cassandra. Amos took a breath, and let the desert feel him. Unlike the plains outside the city, the desert was overflowing with ether. It would have been suffocating if the pair weren't mostly made of the stuff.
"Perhaps, except for that direction," Cassandra said, interrupting Amos's trance. "The whole desert, save for a shrinking region not far from us, is a veritable well of ether concentration."
Amos looked in the direction Cassandra was, and noticed a small glistening in the distance. Without a second thought, he sprung towards it on a gust of wind, spraying sand in all directions, likely covering Cassandra. The blazing wind felt like bliss on Amos's face, a heat he'd almost forgotten. As he approached, he saw what was shining. A thin, golden portal frame. The sun seemed to darken, as did the portal's vicinity. Before Amos could question why, a massive hand grabbed his arm and effortlessly redirected his flight path downwards.
Amos tumbled over a dozen times in the sand, struggling to regain balance. When Amos finally stood, he dusted himself off with a single blast of wind and stared down his adversary. A massive Cinraal, with three times the mass of a normal man. Its proportions were almost human, except for the bulging shoulders and arms. Its head looked almost reptilian, and housed piercing yellow eyes.

"Don't tempt me, little man," it said with a voice matching its frame.
"L-little man?" Amos stammered. "Really? You're going with something cliche like that?"
The Cinraal responded by bringing a fist down on Amos's head, completely unfazed by the gust attempting to repel it. Amos hit the sands hard, head pounding and vision blurry.
"Alright, yeah, I'm pretty little. Amos by the way. Who're you?" Amos heard his own voice was just as distorted as the rapidly approaching inferno.
The Cinraal turned around, fist clenched. Cassandra's fury met the immovable wall that was this thing's right jab. She nearly bounced off it, landing in the sand just as dazed as Amos.
The Cinraal suddenly faltered.
It fell to a knee, clenching his own head. "I… can be called Baal," it managed to get out before collapsing.
Amos wasn't sure if it was his slowly receding dizziness, or if he actually saw golden chains appear around the Cinraal, squeezing it. The creature shrunk, its body began to conform to human shapes. As Amos blinked away the last of his daze, a young boy lay in the now frozen sand where Baal just was.
Cassandra rose, holding her face with both hands. "Is this-"
"I think we have a few new questions for Malachi," Amos concluded.

Transdimensional Marketing
I am merely a reviewer, albeit the products I review are slightly different. For example, I review quantum computers, artificial intelligence, anti-gravity mech armor, planetary engines, sublight colonial ships, stellar detonators, etc… Chen Yu: “The technological product I bring to everyone for today’s episode is—a dual-vector foil! W-Wait! Everyone, please calm down! Let me explain…”

I won't remove any content for those still curious (a lot of my readers had told me I was doing a good job), but it's not likely I am going to add anything either. Thank you for the adventure that writing this story for you has become. I have read every comment and review and still come back to them. It has been wonderful to see all of you supporting me on this journey.

Welcome to the Upward Bound System, V.2
Technically abandoned. I will be reposting an updated version of the story one chapter at a time. When the System came to Earth, it changed everything. It is a grand thing used by gods and men alike. What had once been fantasy was now a reality. People believed and so that belief gave ideas the strength to manifest. "Welcome Founder of the SCP Foundation" It stirred the gods from their deathly slumbers. Stirred by an almost mechanical voice promising them new life, and followers as countless as the stars. All it asked of them was for their help. Help with what though? The old gods, the forgotten gods, and the new gods drew breath, and then made their voices heard. On a day like any other Dante was home from college watching the Presidential inauguration with his parents. Little did they know that this day would turn out to be anything but ordinary. That this was the day everything changed. Dante is not your typical MC. While he has a troubled past, he looks forward to the future. Follow Dante, his parents, and the new friends he meets along the way as they traverse this new system world. However, before they can explore this new world they must complete, the Tutorial. (Please note: This tutorial will be part of the story. Rather than a skim of the information, you will get to experience it in depth. So the tutorial will last a good while.) A much slower style of LitRpg than what you would normally find. Follow Dante and his party as they find their world taken over by the system. Welcome people of Earth to the Upward Bound System!... With the system's arrival so too does great danger come... The tools of your survival shall be granted upon you by the system... Please note, I don't own the art. Please enjoy the story, and if you don't please leave a comment and I will try to improve the story for you. This is the second version of this story, so feel free to check out the original and compare the two.

Lost souls: Road to Godhood (Isekai) [Writathon Participant]
In a world where mages stand above nobles and even the law, it's not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Luz and his brothers are no different. However, their peaceful lives are shattered when a dragon attacks their village. Left with no choice, Luz uses a forbidden spatial spell to save his brothers. The consequences are not pretty--he and his brothers are scattered across different realms. Luz will have to travel to places unknown to reunite his family and gain enough power to take vengeance on the dragon. Armed with a single spell that he can only cast once before his magic reserves are depleted, Luz has his work cut out for him. Being the oldest is never easy. Author note: Please be warned as the book won't be what you might expect since the early chapters of my work are more of a slice of life of an MC, trying to adjust to his new life rather than slaying monsters left and right from the get-go with accelerated growth cheat and missions given by a goddamn system that forges your path, since everyone knows: an MC needs a system that tells one how to move forward. That was a long sentence. Also, some of you might consider my chapter titles as clickbaity, while others like me might consider them: not boring titles, hehehe.
