《The Demon Child - Awakening》Chapter 9 - Goodbye cruel world

I ran out of the bedroom, to find a long hallway in front of me, beginning to run through it. Who was that man in the mirror, it wasn't me, he had black hair instead of white, green eyes instead of blue, and a bit bulkier than my natural body. I turned through the hallway to find that Jododam was sitting near a fire, reading a book, with a wine glass in his right hand. Jododam took his eyes off the book and looked over his shoulder at me.
"Oh, look who's finally awake," Jododam declaimed.
"What do you mean, and what the hell happened to my body!" I yelled at Jododam.
"It seems that you've gotten used to it immediately, people usually take three days to move,"
"But it isn't my body!"
"Yes, and your markings have changed as well,"
"My markings?"
"Yes on your back." A smirk came from Jododam.
I moved towards the closest mirror, which was in the room and turned around, so my back was facing it, and I was shocked at what I saw. My back had these black marking when I was angry, but instead of it covering my entire body, it only covered my top back. It looked like a simple and large, black snowflake.
"Only demons can see it or if you unleash your new source of darkness, so don't worry " Jododam answered.
"Wait, I also have a new source?"
"Every demon has a source of darkness Dyne, although your's seems to find it comfortable in your body, don't expect it to use as a weapon, which explains your heightened healing capabilities for a person of your level."
As surprised as I was, I went back to my room to get on some actual clothing, since I was only in undergarments. I opened a cupboard to see that there were about twenty shirts, pants etcetera. I put on a white buttoned shirt and some long black pants, I also put on some socks and shoes, while wearing a blazer. I headed out again to see that Jododam has finished his wine glass and was looking outside.

I went towards the window myself to see a glimpse of what Jododam was eyeing. I saw an open courtyard with many other people playing games, to the left of it was a garden of beautiful flowers, but to the right, there was a forest of densely packed dead trees. I turned back to find my way downstairs so that I could join them. I was about to leave the room, but then Jododam started speaking.
"There is one rule and one rule only Dyne; you can only kill them if they aggravate you, and don't damage the brain. I guess that counts for two rules. As the curse makes sure the brain stays alive, it will then be transferred to a clone body, one time, or if the person becomes too powerful," Jododam phrased.
"Got it, I shall not kill them unless they get me angry," I replied with.
I started to walk around the hallway, hopefully, to wander outside to the courtyard. As I begin to go down some stairs, I wondered about what my incarnate weapon is. When I fought the demon, instead of my usual staff, I had daggers. Due to this, I summoned it here and there.
"Oh great incarnation of my soul, show yourself and aid I fight!".
A black mist appeared in front of me, and out of the fog appeared a black katana within a sheath. I kept the weapon in my right hand and kept walking. About five minutes later, I opened a door and went into the courtyard; about twenty-five kids were present at the time. I looked around to see that a group of three were walking towards me, or to the door. As I walk towards them, the biggest in the middle one purposely walked into me.
"Sorry, didn't see you there, I couldn't see someone who was so below me, haha," The boy declared.
Immediately I was pissed off at him. I quickly calmed down and started to talk back.
"No worries, just make sure not to bump into me again, unless you want things to turn uglier than you," I replied with.

"Was that a threat?" The boy asked me.
"As well as an insult." I smiled.
Suddenly the boy raised his hand high and put it on a handle. As he unsheathed the blade behind him, a broadsword appeared. The boy tried to hit me with his sword, but I jumped backwards and landed. I was surprised by how far I went back, but further is better. I unsheathed my katana partially and start running towards the boy. I used my wind source to quicken my attack; during that, the boy had put his broadsword up for another assault.
I was at about a metre when the boy swung at me again, I moved to the right, and his attack missed. I saw the opportunity and seized it, decapitating the boy with a clean cut. The person's headless body then collapsed on the floor, and everyone was shocked.
But I was quite shocked myself; I just killed someone, it would still be better for me to get used to it before I had to do it a lot more. By how many people were looking at me with killing intent, I was now quite unpopular.
"Oi punk, what are you doing messing with the king's son," One of the other boys of the three yelled at me.
"Isn't it obvious, he was getting on my nerves, so I killed him, don't worry, he'll reincarnate into another body soon," I replied with a smile.
"But you can't just kill whoever pisses you off!"
"I know, but that's the only rule in this household so that I can kill you here." I pointed my katana at him.
The other boy summoned his incarnate weapon, which showed up as a golden bow. He made an arrow of what I believe was a pure light source.
He took aim and fired the bow, the arrow whizzed straight past my head, and I believed that was my time to go. I look around to see where I can hide or fight, so I just ran into the dead trees. I hear about five people tearing through the bark like it was nothing, so I decided to run. I ran until I couldn't listen to them chasing me anymore.
I noticed a very thin mist that was on the floor, whenever my body touched the fog, I felt a surge of replenishment throughout my entire feet, all the way up to my knees. If this was the aura of a healer like my mother, but it was much more potent. I follow the mist seeing that it was getting thicker and thicker, thicker until the mist became a fog. As the mist was growing, so was the regenerative aura, I felt as though my body slept for a week.
I made my way through the last of the dead trees to find myself an open lake with a small island in the middle. It was a beautiful sight throughout the fog, but it was getting annoying. I released a bit my wind source and the fog disappeared.
"Would you mind not doing that" A voice called from the island.
Suddenly the mist returned even thicker than before. I try to look around but I just couldn't.
"Who's there, show yourself!" I yelled into the fog.
"That would be me" The same voice echoed.
I look around me to see that a figure is walking towards me, controlling the fog. I try to run, but the fog behind me wouldn't allow me to escape. As scared as I was, I saw that the person got closer and closer. For a second, I was going to pass out, but a rough hand touched my chin. Suddenly, my body felt relieved, and the fog went away. I looked up to see that instead of a person standing in front of me, it was a dragonoid.

R0Q-T357-Alpha (callsign: Rock) is a "Core Child," an irredeemably-crippled test tube baby modified and repurposed by an advanced U.S. military project to serve as the CPU for two-thirds of America's orbital defense systems. Though no one outside of the Pentagon has ever heard of him, he protected his homeland from three ICBMs, a Pacific theatre invasion fleet, and one rogue asteroid. Now, after twenty-seven years of distinguished service from "birth," he is being honorably discharged into civilian life. The only problem is that "civilian life" isn't exactly livable for a glorified brain in a jar. How does a couple pounds of grey matter surrounded by five tons of life support systems and enough co-processing enhancements to take over the planet enjoy an early retirement when he's surrounded by overzealous politicians, corporate spies, and foreign agents after military secrets? The real world isn't that forgiving.

(This story is a complete reworking of the entire Original Trilogy. I'm going to be borrowing material from both canon and legends because of it, but everything prior to A New Hope, including Rogue One and the Clone Wars, is all taken as true. This will be the first book in a trilogy I'm hoping to make, so stay tuned or leave some comments if you have any ideas on how I can improve!)
