My thoughts were lured by the sound of a bell. While I was gazing out the window, it was time for lunch, and people began to leave the class, leaving only me and Hiromi. I hadn't expected to see her, and I was surprised to find her alone. My anticipation was that she would have a lot of friends and have a good time before me.

“Ahem… You're not going out to eat, Miyazaki-san?"

Even though what she said to me in the morning bothered me, I couldn't ignore her.

"I forgot to bring my lunch and money today. As a result, I had to deny several classmates."

"I see; it'll be difficult to blend in with them later."

"I don't mind. You should definitely grab some set before time runs out, and enough about me." Her 's tone became chilly for a moment.

“Ops! "I had forgotten.

As she reminded me, my stomach began to make noises.

She's probably hungry now, just like me. So, might as well be a decent man and bring a set for her as well.

Because I was late, there were few students in the cafeteria. I bought two sets, and they delivered the lunch sets fast. I paid for my lunch and started walking back. I had a half-hour until the lunch break finished, so I walked carefully to my class with that time in my hand.

"Here it is, your lunch set is ready."

I placed the set on the Hiromi table with caution. Her eyes widen for a moment.

“Why? I never asked you to do it."

"I was afraid I'd be lonely eating the set alone, so I bought you another one. You don't have to repay me or feel obligated to me; simply consider it a gift from a friend?"

What exactly am I saying? She might not even think of me as a friend. So there you have it, my cause for you to feel sorry for me and eat it. That's how I deal with tsunderes.

"Thank you, Tohmaru san, if you say so."

I was expecting to hear neighbor.

"No problem."

We both opened the dinner at the same time.

"Thank you for the food."

We didn't see any other students in the classroom as it was so silent, and we proceeded to eat our lunch. We couldn't say much while eating, and I couldn't eat well, as recollections of the first time we met went back and forth in my mind. She didn't say anything; I'm guessing she's the same way.

"Are you done eating? Want me to throw plastic for you?"

"Alright.”

We didn't chat much after that, and she didn't even look at me, let alone talk to me, for the rest of the day. The class finished with me being unable to concentrate on anything for the rest of the day.
