Abby stood with her head under the shower, hands pressed against the wall above her head, the hot water forming rivulets down her back, the steam had already fogged the glass walls. She sighed, knowing she had almost fucked up. Already. She had promised herself not to push, to let Anne set the pace, then the first morning she had almost asked her to join her in the shower.

She rested her head on the cool wall. Such an idiot. She picked up her razor and shaved her legs and her armpits, she paused as she was about to continue the ritual. Anne didn't shave, she knew that. Perhaps she should stop. But then it would itch. And what if they… you know… whilst it was all horrible and stubbly. Ick.

She ran her fingers over it, she liked the smooth feeling, perhaps having it stubbly would help with her other promise. She snatched her hand away as if it were burned, remembering she wasn't allowing herself. She resolutely put away the razor and finished washing her hair, she found herself day dreaming as the soapy bubbles circled the drain.
