《Tales of Mana》Taking a break.

So first of all, this is obviously not a chapter. I'm hereby announcing that I am "taking a break" aka spending hours reading through the older chapters and fixing/changing some stuff.
I know that many of you will still dislike the fact that I'm doing this, but I'd rather face angry people than disappointed people. Also, this will NOT be a rewrite of the plot. There will be changes, but those will be made in a way that it should be possible to continue reading from chapter 15 for those that have already read up to chapter 14(/13..)
But I'm not only doing this to fix mistakes I already made. I also intend to prevent myself from making too many mistakes in the future. So I will read through some guides and all of that stuff.. yes, this is going to take a long time and I myself do not know just how long it will take. Once I feel that I have improved enough to continue writing on this story without screwing up, I will do so. Until then, there will be no new chapters. Perhaps I will even start a new project as a "training".
Last time I screwed up pacing and plot completely. It was going along well this time, but there are far too many things that could and should be improved. Because if I don't do it now, those things might lead to yet another catastrophe. I'd rather make a full stop right now than not doing so and risking to crash into a wall.
First I will read through guides, then I will apply what I've learned to older chapters, both as a means to practice and see just how big the impact is, then, depending on the results, I may write on another project to further improve, and only then will I write new chapters. This can and most likely will take a long time, but:

Expect the speed at which I will release chapters from then on to increase by a LOT. I'd say by.. three times at least. One chapter every day could be possible. This is just me estimating that once I've gotten to know my own story well enough to not spend most of the time thinking stuff like "would this fit into the story? What should I write now?" instead of writing, I would be able to spend much more time writing.
Let's hope that this break won't be too long, but pray that it lasts long enough to actually take effect. Bye.

Robin Murray has a lot on his plate. He's the odd man out at his high school; Homeschooled most of his life due to his poor health, he finally talked his parents into allowing him to attend school as a freshman... And he's regretted it ever since. Ostracized and bullied by his peers, Robin has been trying to keep his head down since day two, and so far, it hasn't helped. His only solace has been locking himself in his room and submerging himself into his collection of video games. Until the day he was sucked inside one of his games and imprisoned there for five years. It was only upon completing the game that he's freed and wakes up in his bed like nothing happened, except he brought the game's powers with him into the real world. But now its back to business as usual. While five years passed for him inside the game, only a single night passed in the real world and he's got school to attend in the morning. But things begin to spiral out of control when he wakes up to the reality that his parents are missing and... Monsters are hiding as humans? Turns out his P.E teacher is a troll, the local librarian is a literal harpy, and Medusa owns the most popular bar in town. Oh, and the girl he's been crushing on since he was like- six, isn't exactly human either. Robin must delve into the mysteries surrounding his town if he wants any hope of finding his missing parents. And to do that without suffering a fate worse than death, he'll need to personally enter the game worlds to level up and acquire new abilities. FPS, RPG, Strategy, they'll all help him in one way or another- there's just one catch. He only gets one life both inside and outside the game world, a single death will spell the end of Robin's Quest. It's time for a Gamer to take on The World.
8 121Importance
Living in the world where everyone's fate was decided by a Scale. A world where some people are treated like animals, while others are treated like royals. Arthur hated this world, especially when it kept on finding new ways to push him down. He decided that it was his turn to push them down, and revolt against this so-called society.
8 121The Winding Road
Levi Adams, an extraordinary man, forced to survive in extraordinary times. The old world order had fallen, and the demons lurking in everyone have begun to rear their ugly heads. The civilised of yesterday have become the savages of today-the ever-present presence of death forging people anew in the fires of a trying world... Can he walk through the world unchanged by its savage nature or become just another monster shambling through the world, hunger for death forever unsatisfied. 8 164Does Hell Have an Adventurers' Guild?
I have decided to try out a different style. I cannot say much at this point, the story is mostly fantasy/romance and will evolve as I go, but it will involve an "adventurers' guild" in a demonic setting. MC will be a reincarnator becoming a denizen of hell, I will add vital description as I go. Gore will be used with reason, some bad words here and there and severe explicit or traumatizing content will be announced in advance, but it will not be the focus of the work.
