《What if the world was an RPG?》The day everything changed part 2

A crackling thunder could be heard everywhere in the arena. Suddenly a blue lightning beam smashed down in the middle of the arena. The impact of the beam was so powerful that it made people fly over ten meters. The lightning beam had left a smaller crater in the middle of the arena. There was black and white ash that had been created when the lightning beam struck and a lot of dust had been kicked up into the air, making it hard to see. When the dust finally started to settle a hundred white and gray fluffy balls could be seen.
These fluffy white and gray balls of fur could easily be mistaken for peaceful and kind animals, but believe me when I say that I had never before witnessed such terror in my life. The Killer rabbits looked like normal rabbits, but there were some things that really stood out. The Killer rabbits possessed razor-sharp teeth and a 30 centimeters horn on their head. The teeth were made for dismembering flesh and the horn was made for impaling anything that came to close. Just how many people did die by getting impaled by the spike looking horn that the rabbits possessed and just how many did die by being torn to pieces by the razor-sharp teeth? To many people, way too many people had died.
The scenery had turned from being a white and clean arena into an arena where dead people laid everywhere. The floor that was so polished that you could see your own reflection in it had turned into a sea of red blood with body parts scattered all over it. Not only had this arena turned into something from a horror movie, but it had also turned into a game of greed. When people realized that they could take the items and possessions of the fallen. They started purposely letting people die. Instead of fighting together they instead let their fellow humans die.

Me, on the other hand, I just sat down next to a gigantic pillar in the corner of the arena and patiently waited for either the people or rabbits to die. Why did I do so you might ask. Well, to be frank, I was unsure of who the real monster was. Was it the rabbits who had furiously slaughtered countless humans or was it the humans who had let others die, just so that they could satisfy their own greed? While I was trying to hide from both humans and rabbits I took the privilege of searching through the corner of this arena. The reason why I did so was that there might have been some kind of special item with special powers hidden here in this arena. Unfortunately, I did not find such an item instead I found something way more dangerous and deadly.
Black Killer rabbit (rare subspecies) Level: 10
Black Killer rabbit a special type of Killer rabbit that has survived for more than four arena starts. This Killer rabbit has had all its stats increased by at least eight times and might possess special abilities.
Recommended: Avoid at all cost.
Oh, fuck.
Not wanting to die, I tried to slowly walk back to where I came from. Before I even had the chance to take my first step, it instantly charged against me. I just barely managed to block its attack with my shield. In less than a blink of an eye, it attacked again. I tried to throw myself a bit to the right, but to no avail, it still hit me. My right shoulder got cut, fortunately, it wasn't something severe. The rabbit prepared itself to charge for the third time, but this time I was ready for it. I raised my shield and blocked the full force of the rabbit's horn attack. The horn had pierced right through my shield and gotten stuck in the wall behind me. I instantly let go of my shield and started to hit the black rabbit with the club. The rabbit squealed while I beat it mercilessly with my club. After hitting the rabbit for what felt like an eternity it finally died. Exhausted I feel back and leaned myself against the wall while watching over the dead rabbit's body. After a small while, it started to burn for a couple of seconds.

I guess that's how they despawn.
Where the body of a black rabbit once used to be there was now a ring. The ring was black with golden runic inscriptions. The texture of the ring felt like an uneven piece of stone and it was slightly warm.
I picked up the ring and put it in my pocket for now.
It had passed around one hour since the rabbits had been spawned in and the massacre had begun. I checked how many rabbits there were left, to my surprise the majority of them had been killed.
2 Killer rabbits left
I slowly ventured back to the main part of the arena to meet up with the survivors. What I saw could only be described as hell. Before the killer rabbits got summoned there were at least between a thousand and fifteen hundred people here. Now there was less than a hundred and it was still going down. The last two rabbits had put up a valiant last stand taking down as many humans as they could before they died, but after taking down more than thirty people the damage had built up and they died. The reason why I could give such an accurate description of what happened was because I stood around two hundred meters away and watched my fellow humans get slaughtered. There was no reason for me to help them and why would I risk my life trying to kill deadly rabbits for some strangers for free?
Congratulations!

Dimensional Originator
Adam is having a terrible time. To start the day off he died in a car accident. And that isn't even the most painful thing that happened to him. That would be merging with a strange crystal. After that he ended up stuck in an endless black void. He does eventually get rescued. But quickly realizes his soul has been put in the body of a fallen noble and his fate is to be little more than a breeding slave for the cultivation clan that purchased him. To top it all off his new body had been bedridden for weeks and he can barely get out of bed. Not everything is terrible though. The crystal he merged with is called a dimensional originator. Using life and death energy he can create miniature universes. Given enough energy and time he could even create an entire universe. For a moment Adam thought things were looking up. Too bad the author finds things going horribly wrong far more entertaining. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it as somewhere between PG-13 and R for violence, gore, and nudity.

On the Other Side
Sappers lead the way. It was a slogan Jake had heard a million times, but he never thought it would apply to leading the way into another world. Stuck in a new universe with new rules that resemble an RPG, can this former combat engineer with poor social skills survive or even better, lead his fellow survivors to thrive? This was written contemporaneously with Now That's Entertainment, with different characters and mechanics. I've decided to post both in hopes of comparing how they do. Fragments of Glass
before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.
