“AHHHH!” I scream while the pain shoots through me. I fall to my knees and struggle towards to door.

What’s going on? Why does my body feel like it’s on fire? I need help!

“Old man, I need help. Come quick!” I shout while dragging myself towards the door. My vison is starting to blur, but I don’t want to be stuck in the room any longer then I have to. I’m lucky I’m still alive, and I don’t want to push my luck!

“Andrew!” I shout again while gritting my teeth in pain.

I crawl to the door, but the handle is too high for me to reach while stuck on my knees.

I feel the fire rushing though my body. Oh no, it’s heading towards my head!

Oh, f***, this going to hurt.

I quickly stand up, fighting through the pain. I manage to grab the handle and push down. As I do this, the pain reaches my brain.

Everything goes dark.

The system alert wakes me up, and I notice I’m now in my room.

Oh f***, that is what that pain is? I don’t feel much different though, I should try sensing KI while no one is in my room to bother me.

As I change my focus towards KI, the world lights up like a beacon. If what I could see before was a cup of water, now I can see a lake worth of KI. The specs are now closer to the size of golf balls.

Holly s***, so much KI! This is unbelievable. Wait, now that I am KI refiner, I should be able to draw it in.

I focus on pulling the KI closer, making it go through my hand, run down my arm, through my chest, and finally into my core. The process seems slow and a lot of KI escapes before it gets to my core.

Seems like I will need to work on my control if I want to cultivate efficiently.

I watch a bug fly in though the small window. I observe its every detail. As I focus more, I feel time around me slow. I can see the details of the wings, even the tiny muscles pushing and pulling.

Wow, what the hell was that? I need to be careful with that.

As I get up and walk towards the door, I trip on a step and end up launching myself. I tightly grip onto the door’s handle to catch my balance and it snaps off.

Oh right, my increased speed and strength stats. Crap, I can’t leave the room till I get used to my new body or people will know what’s up. Wow, that’s sensible, seems like my intelligence went up too.

I spend the rest of the day running around my room, doing push ups, sits ups, and various other exercises to control my body and push it to its limit as well. Even after 5 hours of exercising, I don’t feel the slightest bit tired. I had to tell Andrew I was not feeling well when he came and checked on me. He left with a worried look.

Seems like all my stats have helped me be the strongest 8-year-old ever! Hmm, what about my affinities?
