《The Angle of Death and other Mathemagical Hazards》Means

While many were getting together to ponder the many different Sines that had been popping up around the world, there was one group that just didn't care too much about the extremes that had been happening. They thought that the old mode of doing things was plenty good enough, and that the best way to analyze the troubles was to consider things over time and determine the average outcomes. This group became known as the Means Committee. After several meetings they fell into arguing about whether each mean was an independent event or if they should be compared. The comparisions were then argued about, and they became bitterly divided about how each one should be valued. Those paying attention to the issue renamed the group the Weights and Means Committee. Several members of the committee became divergent from the main group and ran screaming out into the middle of the street, shouting that it was all meaningless and only the median was safe. This was, unfortunately, not true.

A bass voice was heard remarking, "Uh, folks? Not even your Guardian Angle can save you from this kind of folly, there's only four inches of double yellow lines here, you should have chosen a better street." There was screeching, crunching, crying, and the parametrics were called, but they couldn't f(x) or solve the situation.

The Committee had no comment about the incident.
