1st: Yes but its useleess with his aim.

2nd: He can control 4 lines of chains. They can change size but won't sphread. They can be deatached but then can't be contoled/bended/manipulated/whatever after.

3th: No. They are made from the magic absorbing metal. But their hardnes can be manipulated to some degree.
