Xiodar and Jael run outside. Demon lord holds his cup of tea and Vampire keeps the table above him. They arrive at place where 4 guards were keeping hands at a big pillar. Fireballs where falling from the sky but something invisible blocks them.
"You! Report!" Jael shouts at 5th guard.
"My Lord! Currently we are keeping up the barrier but it won't last long!" Guard answer without being surprised from seeing the table.
'Is this standard procedure?' Xiodar wonders and takes a sip of tea.
"Where is enemy?" Vampire asks.
"It looks like the mana is coming from that direction!" Guard points at horizon.
Xiodar leaves the empty cup at the table and walks in direction of the pillar. Jael ignores this and asks. "How long ghouls can keep up barrier?"
"With all our forces around 10 minutes." Guard answers.
'So these guys are ghouls? That explains their zombie faces.' Xiodar thinks when he reaches the pillar.
"Do we have someone to..." Jael wants to ask but suddenly all light disappears ."What the...Xiodar is that you?!" He shouts.
"Yeah but it can be too strong." Demon lord answers.
"How long can you last?"
"As long as you want but don't you feel this?"
"!" Now when there was calmly Vampire notice the mana gathering under the castle." They plan to blow us up!"
"So go and stop them!"
"AND WHAT I WILL DO?! HIT THEM WITH THE DAMN TABLE!?"
******************
Batxon looks at the distance. His ritual of fire rain should keep them busy when the second one will charge up. Now he is sending his mana to keep the spell going. Suddenly black sphere spreads around the castle. It looks solid and emits a black smoke.

'What is this? Never mind. That barrier won't protect them from below.'
"HAHAHAHA!" Goat headed demon laughs. "Now Lord Kokmal will take me iOUCH!"
Batxon's face meets the sand. When he looks up for the culprit...
"Did you hit me with a damn table?!" He shouts.
"B*tch you guessed it!" Jael gins behind him. His entire body is emitting the black smoke but he doesn't look hurt.
"How did you get here?! HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?!" Batxon panics.
"I am doing the opposite thing from you."
"Huh?"
Jael appears before him with sword in hand. "I am not being dead!" He swings the blade at him.*CLANK* Goat block with a staff.
"DIE!" Batxon shouts and breaths the fire at him. Jael blocks with his free hand. Goat runs back and starts to prepare a spell. "Now fireOUCH!" Face and the sand meet again.
"This is the guy?" Xiodar asks with his leg risen.
"Yeah this is Batxon. Former general of Velhar." Vampire says with a disgust.
"This guy used to be general?" "OUCH" Demon lord stomps at the goat.
"He is expert in rituals. Great use in war, low use in 1 on 1." Bloodfang say without emotion.
"So gonna kill this?"
"I am thinking about the way."
"You can kill him with the table."
"Sounds good." He grab the table by a leg.
"Huh? What arOUCH!HEY!OUCH!OUCH!You ar!OUCH!late an!OUCH!way!OUCH!OUCH!OUCH!" Beatenxon shouts.

Beated crap of Batxon twitches on the ground."...Well... roasted goat?" Demon lord asks.
"Roasted goat." Vampire nods. Xiodar points at the sad example of animal abuse when Jael walks away. He shots the dark ball at the thing which used to be a person. *BOOOM*"...You missed."
"Screw this!" He get closer and leave the ball by the living sh*t. "So where you will go?" Xiodar walks away.
"I will go with you. There is nothing holding me now." Jael follows him. "And you can cast a barrier around my body so i don't turn into ash."
"Family?"
"Hero of Doom killed everyone from my clan."
"Yhm."
"So where now?"
"I have no Idea. I should probably find a castle for myself."
*BOOOM*
"Then maybe let's go to place where one used to stand" Vampire proposes.
"You mean that Death guy's place? Sounds like a idea." Xiodar nods.
*************
"*ahem*" Kabarin tries to get attention. "So let's start report. Esxis can you?"
Girl nods. "Xiodar currently is on the way with Jael Bloodfang to the castle of the dead Demon lord."
"OH! He is going out with vampire?"
"DAMMIT Dapelia! Why when you hear names of two guys you immediately think they are going out?!" Kabarin shouts.
"You don't have to shout at me..." Dapelia sullen. "That's why I'm the Goddess of love!"
"Yeah you could control yourself better." Men with look of the spartan says.
"SHUT UP UTEUS! Do you even know what she is talking about us when we aren't around?!" God of magic replies.
"What did you say?!" Uteus's voice break.
"OWW... Like old couple." Goddess laughs.
""BULLSH*T! AND DON'T SHIP US!""
"...Can you shut up?...." Dark figure says.
"""...Sorry...""""
"My! Direct as ever Dadros?" Blond women in cleric's robe teases.
"....Airheaded like always Ina?" Dadros replies. "....So something interesting?...." He ask Esxis.
"They also killed Batxon." Esxis says and starts displaying a video.
"WHAT THE?" "UUHHH!" "WHYYY?!" "..."
Kabrin faints, Uteus pales, Dapelia vomits, Esxis still expressionless and Ina hides behind Dadros.
Dark god looks at Esxis. "...Send me a copy...."

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?
