《The who that I really am》Zey the great sorcerer!

As we start walking towards the dragon mountains, we immediately find a great problem. Zey has little to no stamina. Perhaps that skill also affects his stamina. We'll have to train it along with his magic.
«As I'll be the one teaching you magic, I'll tell you how I came to understand magic. Then, I'll have you reproduce it and then perfect it. Understood?» (Me)
«YES!» (Zey)
This is the first stop of our traveling days.
-I'm going to teach him "air shot" and see if he manages to get a grasp of what magic is like I did.-
I write down the chant for the spell. I use the chant and shot an "Air shot" at a tree in the distance.
«Do the same.» (Me)
His face looks lightly displeased.
«I'm already able to do this. I need more spells to become stronger!» (Zey)
«That's incorrect.»
I gather my mana and create a perforating air shot like I did back in school but this time larger, and threw it at a tree. Half a dozen trees fall to the ground instantly.
«See?! That spell is strong!» (Zey)
«That was an air shot though?» (Me)
Noemi giggles from afar while Laura almost fainted and Gonzo thanked god that we were allies.
«Huh?» (Zey)
«Yes. The only air spell I ever learned was air shot. From then on, I could create any spell at will. You can do so as well. You just need a good grasp of the basics.» (Me)
Zey is dumbfounded. All that he thought was powerful and weak was getting destroyed and rebuild.
«Can I really do any spells from just air shot?» (Zey)
«Yes.» (Me)
For the next two hours, Zey just recklessly used air shot over and over again until he could no longer stand. To do it for so long, it shows that he has quite a lot of potential.

«You are doing everything wrong!» (Me)
«Eek! Why?!» (Zey)
«I told you, you had to understand the basics, didn't I? You are just training air shot! You need to understand what magic itself is!» (Me)
I just gave him a hint as I said that while pointing to my head. I took a few minutes to understand because of my high-grade magic skills. He has really good ones but just below mine so he should take a few hours.
When I finished talking his face lit up like a firefly.
«Visualisation! That's it!» (Zey)
I try to hide my satisfied smile as I turn to Noemi and leave Zey to his discoveries. In the end, even though he managed to get a better grasp of it, he still just used air shot over and over again. This time without chanting so he only lasted half an hour. Still, it's really good progress for just the first day. He really has the talent for this.
I sit down and Noemi sits on my lap and lays her head on my shoulder. I end up holding her on a whim again. She smiles and lays her hand on top of mine and slowly falls asleep to the sound of Zey trying to get up to train more air shots. I was so focused on Zey that I didn't notice that it was night time already. Laura was already asleep, held by Gonzo. She must be very scared after all. No matter what, we have a hard mission.
*SPLASH*
I wake up in the morning all wet. What happened?...
«Zey... I don't mind that you are enthusiastic about your talent, but please... DON'T WAKE US UP!!!» (Noemi)
«I'm sorry! I'm very sorry!» (Zey)
Zey seems to have adapted his air shot training to his water element...And fire... and earth? I notice that he made a campfire out of earth magic and then lit it up with fire magic.
' What the hell?! '
(Devouring monster)
' I got my hands on quite a dangerous boy... '

8 196The Primal Hunter
Book 1 now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited & Audible On just another normal Monday, the world changed. The universe had reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. A world where power is the only thing that one can truly rely on. Jake, a seemingly average office worker, finds himself thrust into this new world. Into a tutorial filled with dangers and opportunities. In a world that should breed fear and concern, an environment that makes his fellow coworkers falter, Jake instead finds himself thriving. Perhaps… Jake was born for this kind of world, to begin with. Release Schedule: 5 chapters a week. Average chapter length: 2500 Tags and content warnings are mainly to give me creative freedom later on. This is my first novel ever, and English isn’t my native language, so go easy on me chaps. Any feedback is more than welcome, of course. Also, this novel is only posted on Royalroad, Patreon, and my Amazon releases, so if you are reading it elsewhere, it's pirated and you suck if you keep reading.
8 1066Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. 8 164Game Master - Unlocked [Terror Infinity]
Sieghart wakes up in the company building of one of the most dangerous supervillains in the world greeted by an inhuman entity who pushed them into an Death March that will span dimensions. (The Warnings Are just in case, thus far no plans have been made, but if there end up being any you are warned) [Terror Infinity Fanfiction, there was months of planning and thought into this. Left it for a year worked on it for a bit then left it again and back and forth. The Concept was interesting enough in both the Original and Side B, but the World Building for both was such a mess it gave me such a headache I had to restart and scrap entire ideas multiple times before I just gave up and started from almost scratch and got something mildly satisfying. In my opinion even then, it still needs work. Hopefully you guys will enjoy this.] (Cover Image Isn't Mine)
