《Survival Evolved》The Statue

"What is this?" I asked myself, walking around the room inside of the statue.
The torches were hung up on the wall with some sort of metal frame against them. They were locked off from my reach, but they still did a solid job of lighting up the room.
Near the opposite side of the room from the door stood a pedestal of a sort with a diamond in the shape of stone lying on top of it. Just like the Stone on the back of my hand.
I picked up the stone from the pedestal and could see a weathered piece of paper under it, along with some photographs. I picked up each photo and looked at them carefully.
Some of them were pictures of some sort of city. There were tall buildings, like skyscrapers, people going about their days, and pictures of some animals as well. Even if I knew nothing from before, it still seemed normal compared to waking up on the beach like this. The people were smiling, posing for pictures at the bar, and looked as if they were just living. I kept going through the photos until I got to one with a group of people, all with White Stones on the backs of their hands. They appeared to have the same feature as I did. We were related? Brothers of some kind? Maybe it was far-fetched, but I would've liked to believe that wasn't the case.
On the very bottom of the stack of photos, there stood a long note, somewhere around three pages long. I first noticed the bottom, realizing the five signatures at the very bottom of it.
Zeal, Xian, Elo, Demos, Talion.
Such exotic names... but I guess I wasn't one to exactly talk about exotic names. I began to read the note:

"Welcome to the Sanctuary of White Stones. Here, you will see a collection of documents about the lives of people on Earth, and a photo of all White Stones currently in existence.
This monument was built under the guidance of Orion to commemorate the lives lost to build the modern society on this Isle."
It seemed pretty self-explanatory. This was a unique way to commemorate the lives lost, I thought of it as a nice thing I had barged in on. I wanted to leave, but another note caught my eye after the quick movement of my body blew it from the pedestal as well.
I picked the next note up as well. That was when things began to change:
"To the Newest White Stone on the beach. I was barely able to sneak this note in here undercover, but there are some things you should know about your life.
You are new to this Isle, an Invader, as you've been classified. You are not meant to be here, and neither are your people. It's safe to say you will be hunted by the Nomad Stone on this Isle. I truly cannot write anymore before I need to leave, so let me leave you with this last message.
Your life might be a mistake to them, but to me, you are my greatest creation.
~The First Asterio~
I dropped the tattered note to the floor in a panic and leaned up against the wall beside the pedestal. Like an insane influx of information entering my brain at once, I found myself unable to worry about any specific thing. There was so much loaded into the last note that I was worried about anything possible.
Invader? I'm not meant to be here? Was this some elaborate prank by Ullr? No, that wouldn't be possible. The door was only meant to open for White Stones.

Then the person who got in here was a White Stone. Why were they telling me this? Who were they and why did they want to help? There must've been another White Stone on the beach. I would have to go ask everybody or go see. On the other hand, Dani and the other said that there were no other White Stones than me.
Then who put this note here? I wanted to meet the other Stones, but if I was being hunted, then I'd be inevitably killed if I tried. There were so many exceptions to the rules I read that I was left with nothing but anxiety about my life now.
To be hunted when I'm new to this Isle. I was smiling before I got in here... but now that just seems so unrealistic to me. I wish I hadn't walked in here at all now. The curiosity wasn't worth it.
It does me no good to sit and sulk about being hunted, so I needed a plan. I need some defense of some kind, some sort of ensured protection. I needed to unite the people on the beach. To become one big force to ensure my safety.
No matter how I said it in my head, it was selfish through and through. I didn't mean for it to sound like that, but I was the only one being hunted, at least that's how the note made it seem.
Uniting everybody wasn't inherently selfish. It was for their good as well. I needed to decide on it, I would try my best to unite them, no matter what it took.
I looked back to the closed door behind me, leaving the notes on the pedestal at the other end of the room. The door quickly opened just as quickly as it had closed. I could see Dani, Red, and Carl all at the bottom, now looking up at me.
"Sky! The statue didn't eat you! Let's help him get down!" Dani said, bouncing up and down as she ran up the edge of the cliff.
"Sky? What's wrong?" Carl asked me. It must've been showing on my face. The heavy concern that was my mortality being thrown at my face. How was I supposed to look after seeing something like that?
"Nothing! It just smelled bad in there." I said with a smile. I couldn't tell my friends, I didn't want them to be pulled into my mess. If I was lucky, I could offer my own life to spare theirs.
It was times like these where I wondered why I was so selfless. I had selfish thoughts, but I was focused on protecting these people in front of me. They weren't my family, barely even friends, so why did I care so much about what happened to them?
"I could imagine! It probably sucks in any bad smells from the beach, just like how it sucked you in." Red said, laughing with Carl after. Domin silently watched my movements, then moved towards the axe. "Now we can make some shelter right? Let's do this!" Domin shouted.

This soul would eventually develop into a human with immeasurable power...but this story isn't about him its about a young boy who was thrust into this whole mess before anyone, and has to figure out how to be strong enough not to repeat the future. ----- The paper read Humanity's last stronghold has been breached under the text a picture of what he recognized as New York, and above it an odd date. “December 8th 2028” Tomb mumbled to himself in shock, “what am i doing 6 years from the present” As if the man had supernatural powers, he heard Tom “Going insane from mana, you crazy mage did you just realise it only took us 3 years to pulverize you fools” the man maniacally laughed. Then turning towards the tall man, he got serious and said “Kanna, if you had just surrendered yourself at first we would have made this takeover much quicker, but you” the man seethed with anger “you fought back, nothing is worse than humans standing together.” The LIT RPG elements have been planned for the future and will not be the main focus but more will be written I assume around chapter 10
