'This feeling... It is Chaos.'

Two dim blue lights appear in the endless amount of darkness. Apollyon can feel a minuscule amount of Chaos flow into his body but it is enough to awaken him. The weightlessness in the Void causes Apollyon to float as he tries to fully regain control of himself.

'How... How long have I been asleep?'

Memories flood into Apollyon's mind as he remembers everything that happened before he was sealed into the Void. Apollyon blinks his bright blue eyes a few times as he can feel more and more Chaos flowing into him, causing him to gain more access to his body. Apollyon moves his eyes side to side, making sure nothing is around him in his state of pitiful weakness. Apollyon tries to fully move his body but something seems to restrict most of his movements. Apollyon can feel a small burn seep into his body as he struggles to move more and more.

'A seal huh? It seems to be extremely weak, they must underestimate me.'

With enough Chaos coming into Apollyon's body, he begins to whisper a few words into the darkness. At the end of the chant, a blinding light that is wrapping Apollyon's body shatters and evaporates back into darkness. With his body being freed, Apollyon moves his arms around and stretches. Crackling comes from Apollyon's brittle bones as he tries to rid himself of this stiffness.

Even though he can finally move, Apollyon continues to float throughout the infinite amount of emptiness. He looks at himself and can see a dim white light emit from his bones as he has nothing to cover his now disturbingly weak body. Knowing that he is now weak, a small tinge of fear wells up inside of Apollyon's psyche, a feeling that he has never experienced before.

Apollyon shakes his head a few times and then closes his eyes. When he was stripped of his Godhood, they sealed away Apollyon's natural source of power. They did this by disconnecting Apollyon's soul from his source of natural mana but what they didn't seal off was his ability to get artificial mana. This artificial mana came from any type of Chaos that is created within the known realm of existence. Acknowledging that he has a way to get his power back, the fear inside of Apollyon dissipates and he is filled with determination.

This determination comes from the want to get revenge on the other Gods and make their creations suffer from what has happened to him. Apollyon doesn't know what is causing Chaos to form, but it is giving him a steady flow of power that will help Apollyon escape.

Apollyon takes his small amount of Chaos mana and focuses it into his hands. Black ooze pours out of Apollyon's bones and runs up past his arms and straight into his palms. The black ooze forms to black balls into the hands of Apollyon, which he looks at with his shiny blue eyes. He nods, accepting that he has put enough power into the spell and then claps his hands together.

As he rips his hands away from each other, the ooze creates a wide circle, creating a portal out of the Void and into a random location on Earth. Apollyon observes where he will be teleported to and sees a large swamp. It is night as the light of the moon is the only thing guiding Apollyon into the portal.

Apollyon floats through the portal and is met with a sudden pull of gravity. The fallen God falls face first into a puddle of sludge. His nose and mouth are plunged deep into the sludge and Apollyon can feel his bones start to sink into the horrifying substance. Apollyon tries to struggle out of this situation but the sudden effect of gravity plus the fact he just used all of his power to come here, Apollyon is completely paralyzed. Apollyon can feel his whole body be engulfed as he can no longer strain against the substance pulling him downward.

The liquid is up to his eye holes and Apollyon can feel himself begin to fall asleep.

'I guess I used too much power. That's what I get for pushing myself too hard already.'

Knowing that he has pushed himself past his current limits, Apollyon simply closes his eyes and accepts his fate, for now, falling asleep and continuing to absorb the Chaos being created while almost completely emerged in the sludge. The only things left visible of Apollyon is the two curled horns on his skull and two empty eye sockets.
