《Transformers Reborn》Minicons (Chapter 11)

"Ok, what is with you!? Why do you look different?" Greyhound asked me after he finished the engine maintenance.
"Like I said, a dog tried to attack me, and I killed it. Why I look like this? I don't know." I'm lying, but am I going to tell him I have darkness inside of me? No fucking way!
Anyways, we finished our business with the engine, and we decide to take off and go somewhere else. I want to stay longer, but the others look like they wanna leave. I really can't blame them. One died, and the other watched his home explode.
While Psycho goes into the training room (yes, we have that.), I decide that I really need some weapons. For my idea, I was thinking of putting a gun inside the gauntlets, much like a certain yellow crayon.
I deactivated my Diablo form after walking around in it. When I'm not transformed, I'm around 8ft tall, with my main colors being mainly black, white, and tints of purple. My head kinda looks like a shark, or a bird. I'm covered in armour, and it's for Diabo form, and under it is like a skintight suit covering my insides.
Anyways, I get to work on my weapon. It works like this: In transportation mode, it looks like a braclet. In gun mode, it covers my arm and turns into an Energon cannon. In gauntlet mode, it covers my entire forearm, and using the mode that I got from the dog, I made it so that the knuckles and create Energon spikes.
Badass huh? Anyways, I now have an equipment table that I got from making the weapon. I should name it...
Anyways, I've decided that I need more shifts. (What I'm calling the transformations.) I open up my inventory and pull out a milky white pearl.

Monster Core
A rare item that when ingested, will cause the creature to mutate into a monster. Primarily found on Fantasy Prime.
I look at the pearl for a second longer, then put it back into my inventory. I've got a total of five Monster Cores, and I intend to use them.
I need a flying type monster to scan, and soon after we launched, I got the chance. We had just gotten off the ground when the radar picked up some movement, and I saw that they were flying creatures.
"Shit!" Greyhound yelled, "Flying-Type Minicons! Psychobar, go man the Gatling Gun! Echo, cover him!"
At the time I was thinking of the good luck I had, but when I heard that they were Minicons, I knew that someone was here.
I got up onto the top just as a hatch opened and Psycho came out, manning our Energon Gatling Gun. I equipped my new weapon and shifted it into it's cannon form and shot at them.
"Psycho! Leave one alive! I need it for something!"
"Ok!"
I charged up a shot, now feeling like MegaMan, and realised it, and it flew at the nearest target. When it collided, the Minicon blew up in a purple explosion.
'Holy shit...' I thought as some of it's skin pelted me.
The next moment, I hear a shrill caw and another one comes flying at me. I activated it's gauntlet mode and punched the beast in the face. By the way, I know this is a bad time, but I actually don't have levels. To get stat points, I have to do certain things to increase them. I haven't figured out how to increase Wisdom and Luck, but they seem to rise on their own.
With two down, scratch that, three with Psycho shooting one down, only one target remained. It was the largest, and I used my Shadow Armoury to create a whip and used it to bind the bird. A note, Shadow Armoury needs alot of Energon to keep up, so I pull it in, and wrap my arms around it.

I hop back inside and go into the lab, and I ask Psycho to contain it. The Minicon's legs and wings are trapped in Energon shackles. I ask Psycho to leave because it might get dangerous.
Once he leaves, I pull out a Monster Core, it's milky white gleaming in the Minicon's eyes. I forcefully open it's mouth and shove it in.
It goes limp. For a second, I start to think that it failed, when it screams suddenly. It's eyes are now white, and it's body in more like a bird. It's wingspan is twice as long, and it's talons are longer. A horns protrude from it's spine, and it's mouths open into four sections as a ball of red energy starts to form.
"Really, a Cero? Hate to break it to ya, but that's already copyrighted."
'Then again...'
Deciding not to waste anymore time, I shut it's mouth before the Cero gets large enough. I scan the Monscon, and then a new pop up appears.
NEW SHIFT: PETRO-MINICON A MONSTERIZED VERSON IF A FLYING MINICON. ABLE TO USE FEATHERS AS LONG RANGE BLADES ALONG WITH A CHARGABLE ENERGON BALL.
Well, fuck yeah! That's amazing! I shift into my new form, looking exactly the same execpt for the color scheme and being bigger, and the Decepticon symbol disappeared.
I throw a blade at it's face while it charges another Enro. Eh? Get it? Energon-Cero? Ok, well, it exploded, and pieces fly everywhere. I go back to robot form and clean up the lab.
Meanwhile...
In another place, a shadowed figure sits on a makeshift throne, while another figure is crouched in from of it.
"My Lord, the Minicons have failed in capturing the Cybertronians. One was captured and later died."
The throned figure leaned on it's fist, it's eyes glowing a deep crimson. Opening it's mouth, it speaks. "Leave." The crouched figure nods and runs off.
The throned figure smiles, an evil ref glow coming from it's mouth.
"Soon, my queen, soon you shall rejoin the world and bring Cybertron backbto it's former glory."
The throned figure stares into the center of the room, where a figure encased in a purple crystal resides.
A slight pulse of the crystal shows a feminine figure inside, purple eyes glowing.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

Does Hell Have an Adventurers' Guild?
I have decided to try out a different style. I cannot say much at this point, the story is mostly fantasy/romance and will evolve as I go, but it will involve an "adventurers' guild" in a demonic setting. MC will be a reincarnator becoming a denizen of hell, I will add vital description as I go. Gore will be used with reason, some bad words here and there and severe explicit or traumatizing content will be announced in advance, but it will not be the focus of the work.
