Atli was walking the streets of the town it looked majestic like something from a fairy tale then he stopped and thought to himself what should I do next and then he got it the first things people in issekai anime do is to visit a guild. Atli was walking in the streets and everyone looked at him in amazement who wouldn’t he had a beautiful black and gold armor that shined in the sun and with his long sword on his back he almost looked like a pro adventurer Atli was feeling confident in himself again in a long time. As Atli was walking around trying to find the guild he noticed that all the sighs were in English in fact even the people spoke English at least he thought maybe I learned the language as a bonus while being transported here but that didn’t matter that much now Atli was glad that he could speak, read, and understand the language. Atli finally saw it a big building with a big sign and on it was just written guild. Atli thought it looked kind a silly, but it gets the job done. Atli opened the double doors to get inside and instantly the smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke hit his nose it smelled horrible but he could bear it as he was looking around he saw multiple tables filled with people that looked like adventurers there were mostly guys but girls were also their appearance and age varied some were younger with no scars and others were older with scars and though faces and how they dressed was also different some wore robes and had staffs some wore light armor with bows and daggers and some had armor with swords it was just like in a fantasy game but all of them had something in common there were all staring at Atli and his armor some looked amazed some annoyed and some were whispering to their team . But Atli didn’t mind it and he just walked to the desk as he was walking everyone’s eyes followed him when he was at the desk, he saw that a middle-aged woman with dark blond hair was behind it and he just said.

“hello, can I ask you where I can register to become an adventurer.”
The women looked at him and said:
“first you need to pay the fee which is two gold coins then you need to fill these papers then we need to know your magic type and then you can become an adventurer.”
Atli took 2 gold coins from the pouch and put it on the desk then the women gave Atli a paper and a feather with some ink. Atli was filling the paper he noticed that there were some basic things like: name, why I want to be an adventurer, if I had a criminal record and if I had any health problems. Atli handed the paper back to the lady and she looked at it and just noted and then said.
“okay come with me we need to know your magic type.”
The women stood up from the chair and then walked to another room Atli followed her into the room. Atli closed the door behind him and looked at the room there was just one marble table and, on that table, looked something like a small mirror. And then the women spoke:
“just put your hand on the scanner.”
Atli put his right hand on the mirror which was called a scanner and felt like his hand was getting warmer after about a minute the lady told atli to stop then she took the scanner and turned it around. After reading it and looking surprised she started speaking:
“looks like you have affinity for dark magic which is quite rare for humans but I’m more surprised by this it says that you also have a second magic type which is rare, but the second type of magic is time magic which is the rarest magic type a lot of people think it doesn’t exist only three people ever had this magic, and they were the founding fathers of our nation over a thousand years back you have big potential.”
Atli looked really happy but worried at the same time he thought what if this gets out and people will come after, but he put on a fake smile and said.

“That’s really awesome.”
“no that’s more than awesome you can even became a legendary hero.”
The women still in shock walked out of the room and Atli followed her as she sat behind her desk, she wrote something on the paper he filled out previously and said:
“great I’ll forward this to the guild master if we can recognize you as an official adventurer it will take about two days so take care until then goodbye.”
“bye”
Atli started walking from the desk and looked around it seemed that everyone lost interest which was good after what he just found out. After he walked out of the guild he just sighed. Atli noticed that It started getting dark. Atli started walking around the town again to find a tavern he was walking and saw the streets change as it got more dark women and children were nowhere to be seen and tired man were walking from their jobs. Atli finally saw a tavern he walked in it was the same smell as in the guild, but he got used to it quickly. When he looked around, he noticed that he didn’t get any stares which was good he was trying to go unnoticed. Atli started walking to the bar where the barkeeper was on the way there, he tried his best to avoid the legs of the drunks which he managed. When he got to the barkeeper the barkeeper already knew what Atli wanted:
“how many nights?”
“two nights and also can I see your menu?”
The bar keeper just tossed the menu. Atli catches the menu and opened it he was looking through the menu and saw some bizarre names, so he just picked randomly and closed the menu then put it onto the bar table. Then the barkeeper started talking again:
“For the two nights I will be three gold coins and for the meal it will be one gold coin.”
Atli took out his pouch and took out 4 gold pieces and put them into the barkeeper’s hand. The barkeeper then put the coins into his pocket and the whipped out one silver key and tossed it at Atli again and Atli catches it again when Atli looked at the barkeeper he was pointing at stairs that were on the right of him. Atli nodded his head and then started walking up the stair the stairs were creaking. When atli got to the second floor he looked at the key again and saw that in the there was engraved a number the number was 3 then started looking at the doors which had numbers on them. He found the room when he unlocked the door he walked in and saw one bed in the center of the room behind the bed was a closed window and on the right of the bed was a chest. The room was surprisingly clean, but he was still hungry, so he just walked to the chest and opened it he took of his armor and sword locked the chest with the same key and then walked out of the room to lock it too and then walked down the creaky stairs. He spotted a seat and sat down while he waited a few minutes later a girl brought him his food and a glass of water. He thanked the girl and then looked at the meal it looked like it was meat with potatoes, but the meat was a strange color it was purple, but it didn’t bother Atli because he was hungry, he tasted the potato first and it tasted the same then the purple meat he took a bite and… it tasted pretty good it was just like normal meat but little sour. Atli finished his meal and just went up again unlocked his room and locked it then he just went to bed he was so exhausted after this day he fell asleep instantly.

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.
