《Shivaay》4. Heavenly Temple

4. Heavenly Temple
All went out of the station but Shivaay could not stop staring at the view in front of him. Such huge buildings in European style, it felt like Rome. Huge clock tower, big dome shaped building with vibrant colours he could not imagine such a beautiful place could exist. These places were probably made using chakra power as it is much more detailed and beautiful than his previous world.
After enjoying the view, the whole family went to the road side shop to buy some souvenirs. As his both parents came here before and his father was posted here before so he is well familiar with the roads and some shop owners. After enjoying several happy occasions talking with his previous comrades and visiting the shops, it was finally time to bring his son to the Heavenly Temple where the ceremony will begin.
Shivaay could see the Heavenly Temple from far away on the top of one of the hills. The entire hill was white in colour giving it a majestic view. Whereas on one of the hills from the many he could see a golden palace. He heard from his father before that the golden palace belongs to the royal family and its where they live. Both the hills were probably protected by some of the most powerful persons of the Vulture empire.
As parents were only allowed upto this point, his parents bid him goodbyes and both went back to the hotel room. He went near the hill of the heavenly temple and saw thousands of children just roaming in the plaza. Some were in groups maybe they knew each other from before and others were minding their own business.
Like the other half he also went near the plaza wall minding his own business as he didn’t know anyone or what else to do. He waited, taking out his ticket that each child receives once during birth registration. So for all these years his parents safely kept the ticket for this day as each child gets only one chance no matter who, even the prince.

“Hello, what’s your ticket number” A dark skin boy with sturdy muscles approached him with his ticket. He looked the same age as him.
“721”
“Wow my is 720. What a coincidence. I am before you. Where are you from? Are you alone? What’s your name?”
“Shivaay, yours?” He is not rude to anyone who approaches him with good intentions and, also he was bored from waiting. He didn’t know how much longer it will take so its better to talk to someone.
“Abhay”
And they both started chatting about their birth place and what their parents do. Abhay’s parents were both businessman but he wanted to take the path of a warrior so he worked really hard since his childhood making his muscles bulky.
Time passed.
“No. 720 please enter the temple”
“At last my turn, Shivaay I will catch up with you after the ceremony. Let's spar after that”
“I am always ready” Shivaay said with his eyes closed.
Abhay left and after some time he was called as well, he entered the temple.
After entering, he could see a majestic hall with engravings of various gods and goddess in the wall. Twenty priests in white robe were waiting behind each door holding pen and paper,
“No. 721 Shivaay, door number 13” a black robe man shouted.
He was tensed as no. 13 was an unlucky no. in the previous world.
“Excuse me, does the door no. signifies anything”
“No, all the other doors are occupied that’s why we are giving you this one. If you want to enter please be quick, you will not get another chance”
Shivaay hastily opened the door. After crossing a dark tunnel, he arrived at a dome shaped room.
An old man with a white beard was sitting there in a chair reading a book, beside him was a round silver crystal kept on a table. Except these there was nothing else in the room. Shivaay was disapponted as he thought there would be something amazing inside.

“Write your ticket no., your name in the register and then keep your hands on the crystal” the old man said without moving his eyes from the book.
Shivaay quickly went to write is name as he didn’t want to anger this grandpa. He learned previously from the novels; old people were the most dangerous ones. And yeah, he doesn’t wanna die.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

The Destiny of a Mortal God (Hiatus)
Currently on hiatus, in part because I'm unsatisfied with how the story was starting to develop, and even though I had ideas how to run it, I still made mistakes far too big to correct them. Secondly I'm currently stressed about university, and sincerely, I don't see myself keeping this project. I may or may not retake this project or even start a new one, but one thing's for sure, it isn't happening anytime soon (Meaning until june, aprox, or until I can keep up with class). ... Lyon Ironblood, 19 years old and orphan, is taken by Kronos from the present Earth to another world, where he shall fight and struggle to get stronger so that he shall acomplish the mission Kronos assigned him. He shall fight gods, demons, dragons and monsters and even mortals who surpass those. But to do so he shall receive, though only after he proved himself worthy, a power beyond imagination. This power will not be handed freely to him, and he'll have to work hard to develop it. He shall receive the X-Men System. A magic system designed to enhance Lyon and give him the mutations from the X-Men serie. He shall start from scratch, with powers that will seem less than a mere human, and develop them with effort, to surpass the gods. [I don't claim ownership of any of the X-Men powers or characters, neither the cover, only thing I claim are the ideas which make the story and put together their powers, how they'll develop from scratch to even higher worlds than they were suposed on the series, other than that, all X-Men characters named (which I'll try to avoid to a certain point) are not of my property]
