《Coin Event》Chapter 6 : Usui Aika

It was a usual night for Usui Aika, being out late finishing a mission. Aika was an 18-year-old girl who from a young age was trained to kill.
She had short white hair to blend in with others, and to not bother her while on a mission. Her parents were assassinated and she was taken in by her grandparent after their passing.
Her grandpa was a trained assassin and had decided to train Aika after her parents were killed by other assassins.
Aika was just done killing another person when she got a call from her grandparent to look at her phone.
“Aika look on the news”
She did and saw the announcement of a new event called “Coin Event”
“This “coin event” is an event where you could win the richest man in the world inheritance, you just got to have the special coin by the end of the event to win”
“Laws can be broken without any consequences if you participate in the event”
“You should participate in it, Aika, with that money you could move away and live a peaceful life without worrying about other assassins coming from you”
“You’ve been killing since you were 14 years old, I think it’s been a great short run for you”
“Grandpa it’s only been 4 years, I think I could it’s a bit too early to retire”
“No, Aika I took away your childhood from you, but I don’t want to take your best years of life away from you”
“Also with you on missions there a chance someone will want to take revenge on you for killing their family members like how they killed your parents”
“So please win this event and move on with your life”
“Live in the countryside and raise a family, you would be better off there than being in danger wherever you go”

Aika grandpa was at first hesitant to even decide on making Aika an assassin but did it for her safety, so she could learn to fight for herself
Now that he knows she can take care of herself he decided to let her go on with her life
“Take my advice Aika”
“This is your chance to live a peaceful life without involving death, without involving killing”
“Fine, I’ll accept this as my last mission, just for you grandpa”
Aika accepted since it was a personal request from her grandpa
Aika hung up the call with her grandpa and started thinking about her next move
“I guess I gotta win this event now”
“Otake Katsuro, huh I guess you're my next and last target”

Hello RR! Welcome to the greatest work of fiction you will ever read! ... .... Did you believe that? Cause its not. At all. This is my first work that I will have published in any fashion, and to be completely honest is more to gain practice for my real story. That is not to say I do not care about it. I do. I will do my best to finish it in, if not satisying, at least a conclusive manner. I will warn you however that updates will be infrequent at best though chapter length will not be under 2000 words. I work third shift currently, and at over 40 hours a week I do not have much time to really devote to this at the moment. I DO have an outline for the novel complete, but currently only about 5 actual chapters written and edited. There will be mistakes, including grammar and continuity, plot holes, etc.. If you see these please either comment or feel free to message me directly, and I will get it updated asap. Aside from a fledgeling authors mishaps, expect to find a somewhat comedic slice of life, with a mish mash of xianxia and western fantasy themes, tropes and the like. There will be some gore, network tv levels of sexuality, and absolutely no harems. There will also be COPIUS amount of swearing and drug use and while I said there would be no harems already he may find people in polyamorous situations.
