Tom unpacked the small minigun as he easily held it in one hand.
"What is it?"
Information came spilling out of Tick.
"Its a XM556 Microgun. Five point fifty-six caliber gun with a rate of fire of two thousand rounds per minute. The length of its six barrels is ten inches and the total weight of the weapon system is sixteen pounds unloaded."
She became self-conscious when she realized everyone was staring at her.
"What? Tom asked and I told him."
Tom raised an important question.
"And umm, what is the biggest ammo box I can carry?"
Working in Tom physique as she considers an answer.
"About three thousand rounds Sr."
All of the armor plates began to levitate and float over to Tom.
"That will do. Tick and Tock, can you two go get it please. Zabel, how do I put this on?"
They had to use Tom's rank to obtain all the ammo the squad would need. Tick may have added some extra goodies when no one was looking. By the time they got back with a heavy cart load of odds and ends, Tom was in his full kit. Analysing himself in the office mirror, it seemed like someting was missing. There was a snap of Zabel's fingers.
"Sr. I know what you need, let me go get it."
She went over to her locker and draw out a long light green scarf with tassels. On one side it had a darker green checker board pattern. Zabel bring it to him and found herself hovering next to Tom as she cloaked it round his neck and face. The microgun flew to him as he let her drift to the floor. Jester made her judgment known from the other room.
"Hey boss, you look like that one guy from that anime with the kitsune in it."

Cocking his head to the side.
"I don't think I know that one."
Tick and Tock came in the barracks pushing the overburden cart and giggling about something. When they saw Tom, they awkwardly tried to stop and were dagged by the husky ammunition cart for all most a foot. Both just stared at him from behind the ammo boxes and specialized equipment on the cart. Tock spoke up first.
"Hey Serg, your new boyfriend is scary."
A thrown pencil bounced off Tock's head with a ouch. As Tock was gently rubbing the spot on her head, Silent murmured from the table.
"I would have used a different S word.
Zabel throw another pencil at her this time. Silent dropped the card she was holding out of surprise as it dawned on it her.
"Oh right, you all can hear me now... Shit."
Tom rolled his eyes.
"Ok everyone let's get ready to go."
They focused their anxious attention on him as Zabel asked.
"Sr. where are we going?"
Lifting the microgun and comfortably placing it on his shoulder as he left a hand on it to keep it balanced.
"To the Dark Sun Guild and killing them all."
A new question as brought up by Jester.
"I'm good at getting off base whenever I want, but how are we going to do that with out orders?"
Tom pointed a finger at her.
"Aw, but you do have orders. Xia told Zabel if she finds me, she is to report it to her. So you are going to go look for me at the gnome ship drydock in Tampa."
Silent raised her careless hand in the air and Tom granted permission to speak.
"Why would we look there?"
Tom smiled knowingly under his concealing scarf.
"Because I wisely made Zabel head of security for the space ship they are building for me."
