《Blue mage》Chapter 18: Fight for your right TO PARRTY

I was having some problems one I stopped leveling up, two I stopped gaining abilities and just got a percent of them. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to get a skill called Punch of Love(Rare), it was at 60% right now. Sadly I would never know what it did as I just stormed through that captain, it never had a chance. One that I might get is Appropriately sized wings(Rare), I have it at 89% and this last captain had wings so here's to hoping.
I take a big juicy bite and cleave through the entire upper half of the captain. As I swallow I get a notification that I was hoping for.

Sick, that was one kerfuffle solved, I have no clue what I would have swapped for wings. Right as a smile crossed my face spearing pain erupted all across my back as the scales split and duplicated to create my wings. The pain was greater than when Warsaw almost cut off my arm, so in a few words EXTREMELY PAINFUL. I laid face down on the ground sobbing tears of pain as my extremely massive wings grew from my back. After about an hour my wings were done and the pain faded was I able to look at my new wings. Thanks to swapping Monster Brawl(Rare) on then off I was able to learn how to use these wings. I stretched my wings out to get a full view of them and to my surprise and shock, they were about 40 meters long.

The wings were completely covered in my scales making them a deep royal purple. The bones of the wings made me glad that I couldn't unequip them, would they fall off or be absorbed somehow. Shuddering I get rid of those thoughts from my mind. I stretch my wings out once again to the maximum they can go and start the flap them. This is when I learned the benefits of keeping on Monster Brawl(Rare) as it provides updates on what I should do and not just the general knowledge that it starts with. I proceed to flatten the area in front of me with my face.
Spitting out a mouthful of dirt and grass, I stand up and try again. To end up right where I was before, with a face full of dirt. Standing up I swap Monster Brawl(Rare) back in a check for what I'm doing wrong. After learning that I shouldn't be able to fly at all I facepalm and keep looking for a way to fly. After another hour of take-off attempts with Monster Brawl(Rare) teaching me from each failure it shouldn't be long before I can fly. And fly I did, after another 2 hours I took to the sky for the first time since the System came. I flew higher and higher until the land laid itself bare to me. I could see for miles around as I 'hovered' in the air. The sight was beautiful. I saw mountains to the east and an ocean to the north. Then my eyes locked on to some movement above the forest, a fevered smile came across my face as I nose-dived towards that movement.
Faster and faster I dove, letting the air whip past me in a frenzy. As the chilled air lashed against my eyes I never took them off my target. As I got closer the flying being finally noticed me and just started in bewilderment for a second before diving down into the trees. The smile never left my face as I tore through the trees, snapping both trunk and branch in my fall. Right before I hit the ground I activated Momentum control(Rare) and slammed into the ground. As I got to my feet I realized that Momentum control(Rare) couldn't eat all of that momentum, but at least it was full now. As the dust settled around me I found myself in my favorite position, completely surrounded by powerful monsters.

I shrink down to 4 meters tall while my smile grows to greater lengths as I average the levels between the monsters, 28 with a level 32. I let out a roar at the still dased monsters while throwing myself at them. As I easily tear through the monsters nearest to me when I feel a presence trying to take control of my mind. I lick my lips and look around for the monster doing it while erasing a monster's head with a backhand.
I was looking for some kind of mental attack or defense and this monster would most likely provide both. After a second I spot the telltale signs of someone channeling an effect. It was a monster that looked a lot like a human female with curves to match. I lick my lips again as Blue Mages Appetite(Epic) flares up. I need to eat this monster.
Letting my stomach take control I fight my way over to, what I assume to be a succubus. As I get closer I feel the pressure to obey it get stronger but my stomach won't stop until I've eaten that monster. I kept blowing off the heads of the monsters who get close to me while stomping towards my prey. It's panicking now as the pressure doubles. It doesn't matter as I get closer and closer. I've lost all vision of the attacking monsters but the one I'm going to devour.
Right then a strong left hook makes me stumble back as my focus switches to the new monster. It was the level 32 that I had seen, it was around 3.5 meters tall and covered in muscle and fur. The best animal to liken it to would be a bobcat. Its claws extended, to let out a feline roar, and charged me. Rather than be distracted from my food, I turn and fire a Breath of the Wyvern(Epic) right into its chest, punching a hole in it. Its eyes turn to the succubus and it seems to say something but I'm already back on target and walking towards my meal.
The succubus is cowering in fear as I approach. It can't take its eyes off me as it keeps applying more pressure to my mind and making sounds that sound like it's begging for its life. This impedes me little as I grow larger and larger until I stand before the succubus over 15 meters tall, pick up the succubus in one hand and bite off her torso.
[Anything you can do(Unique) triggers, you gain Mental Barrier(Epic) - Doubles the effect of wisdom for protecting the mind.]
