PHASE 103 - YEAH PASTE IN SOME ENEMIES TOO!

The fabrics of this universe trembles as the ultimate war between the Eidolons and the Gate Guardians (etc) rage on. There are countless of Eidolon screams on the battlefield that mixed with the terrifying battle cries of our allies.

“Destroy them! Unleash your most powerful attacks on Level 4 Eidolons first!” Amanda Cryst shouted as she commandeered Gate Guardians and power-buffed SWAT and military personnel.

“!!!” , “!!!” The Aether Crusade members spammed their ultimate skills by repeatedly unleashing their God and Goddess Cores. Since they are backed up by Tiara, they have an infinite power source and can do any attack without worrying about their prana capacities.

“Kozukata Shrine Maidens, unleash the ultimate secret technique! !!!” Asumi shouted as she materialized her gatling gun on her shoulder. Her fellow shrine maidens also materialized their gun-type Weapon Gems such as AKs, M129s, Uzis, and other machine guns you can think of. They blasted bullet holes towards each and every Eidolon they find.

“Idol Club, we’re not going to be left behind!” Awane of the Idol Club charged with her bizarre idiotic team with their crazy weapons. Awane smashed Eidolons’ heads with her bat, and the other members were as creative as they used pencils, books, and mics to stab the monsters. They even did it with smiles on their faces.

“Kill the curse! Kill the curse! Kill the curse! Wololololo!!!” The Brightmore Cult rallied towards Eidolons with torches and rakes as their weapons. They have a trump card, however, as each of them is keeping a molotov cocktail in their pockets. They lit those bottles aflame, and they threw it to all the poor Eidolons they saw.

“Finishing attack! Weebo Blast!” The Weebo Squad magically created a huge cannon that fired a powerful beam straight towards a huge dragon-type Eidolon. The blaster immediately eliminated the enemy cleanly… as well as my sanity.

We are winning this fight. The Eidolons, which used to be millions, are now just a thousand. Their numbers slowly diminish as they reach the hundredth mark. Soon, there’s only ten of them left.

“Graaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooohhhh!!!”

The last Eidolon cried as it fell down to the ground, lifeless. Its body immediately converted into dark ashes that evaporated into the air.

“YOU CAN NEVER WIN THIS BATTLE, ALARIC EISENHOWER AND TIARA HIKARI!!! MY POWER IS ENDLESS! I CAN SUMMON INFINITE EIDOLONS TO DESTROY YOU BOTH!!!”

Suddenly, billions of dark Gates opened, now from the skies. It spawned Eidolons with wings that are capable of hyperspeed flight, and now they are focusing on our weakness- which is Tiara!

“IF I KILL TIARA HIKARI, YOUR PRECIOUS OMNIPOTENT SONG IS OVER!!!”

“Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooooohhhhh!!!” The Eidolons cried as they dived towards the archgoddess who is still busy singing the eternal song.

“Everybody, protect Tiara at all cost!!!” I cried out loud to gain everyone’s attention. All of them nodded and did what I wanted to do as they focused on destroying winged Eidolons that are kamikaze-ing all the way.

I also need to join the fight. I jumped towards the air to intercept the Eidolons who are bravely diving towards my love. With my ice sword, I used and cut about ten thousands of Eidolons I passed along the way.

However, I had been so careless. One Eidolon managed to evade my latest attack, and now he’s surging towards Tiara! Now that Tiara’s focused on singing her song, she does not even know what danger is coming to her!

“Tiara!” I cried out loud.

“Eh!?” Tiara opened her eyes, but it was already too late. The winged Eidolon is just in front of her face, and its scythe is ready to behead her!

Suddenly…

“!!!” A familiar shout echoed. There was a blink of darkness and a silver streak. When the darkness faded, I saw the caster of that spell as he holds the severed head of the Eidolon that should have taken the life of my love.

“Y-You…” I muttered as I landed back to Tiara’s side. My jaws hung and I can’t believe what I’m seeing.

“Look how sloppy you are, Alaric Eisenhower. You can’t even defend the woman you love. I should have taken your place.” The man talked with a cybernetic voice. He is wearing a dark platinum armor which is identical to mine, design-wise.

He is…

“Aeternos!” Tiara and I cried.

“That’s right.” Aeternos folded his helmet and showed his Cursed Guardian eyes and mixed blonde-silver hair. “I am here to help you both, to secure the happy ending I never got. So keep a close eye on your love, or else I’ll send you back to the Phoenix Incident in my place.” Aeternos winked.

“Don’t get full of yourself, you ugly bastard! I will never let anyone hurt my waifu!” I shouted out loud. “!!!”

With the spell I shouted, I used my armor to perfectly coat Tiara inside it. Just like what happened during the Necross Ascension, Tiara will be invulnerable to any attacks as long as she’s inside my armor. 

“Our Waifu.” Aeternos laughed. “Anyway, I am here because of Tiara’s summons, not because you or myself. She also summoned more reinforcements.”

I looked at behind Tiara and saw another set of Gates opening. Just when I thought we were already at the full house, more people appeared.

The new batch of Gates unleashed Cursed Guardians with a black cloak, signaling that they are members of the New Order and the Dark Legion in the Phoenix Incident. Among them are their generals and other semi-boss characters we have fought before.

This semi-boss I’m talking about are the Gods I whacked during the Phoenix Incident; mainly Poseidon, Thor, Chronos, Eirene, Hebe, and Eunomia.

Then there’s another set of Gates that spawned another set of allies.

“Hey, it’s not my fault that you got tortured every night! So I won’t ask for forgiveness because it’s not truly my fault! It’s that Sin Universe’s fault!” Mianette Springfield entered the battlefield with her witch getup and a long halberd as a weapon. Even with her tsundere attitude, she still had the guts to talk to Tiara about the horrible things she had done.

“It’s fine, Miss Mianette! I’m just glad that you’re here!” Tiara responded. 

Mianetter just replied with the same tsundere “Hmph!” sound before surging to the battlefield.

As Tiara and Mianette spoke, the powerful allies we once fought entered from the gate.

“How troublesome.” Void Wolf put his skull wolf mask and charged prana on his body to change his humanoid form into a gigantic wolf! “!!!”

“Hey, let’s kill some Eidolons and hope that we kill Kristoff in the process!” The boy band from Book 2 Gate Guardian Tournament said as they rushed to battle.

“Let’s go, my daughters! Let’s show how powerful the Baroqueflux family is! We will do this to repay Tiara’s kindness to us even though we treated her like shit!” Tiara’s (evil?) stepmother and stepsisters rushed to battle.

“Ah! I’m sorry I’m late! It’s a shame that I had to go with the Cursed Guardian batch, but now that I’m here...” Frederick Solstice said as he materialized his golden buster sword. He looked at her beautiful daughter with a guilty smile. “I’m sorry, my cute daughter… Ahahaha...”

“Geez, you’re late! Get your ass on the battlefield, father!” Tiara roared.

“R-Right!” Mister Solstice cried. And that’s how Tiara made her father rush into the battlefield.

A gigantic Gate opened, giving way for the entrance of a huge ally. It was a big silver fox with nine tails. I thought Tiara summoned a person from another anime until I heard the feminine telepathic voice of the fox.

"Tiara Hikari, you have shown me the warmth of love that can counter the curse. As payment for the wonderful feeling that you gave me, I... Shirayuki Hikari, shall aid you in this fight!"

Now we have an Eidolon fighting for our side! Cool!

The last Gate revealed a couple that was once our worse enemies and even allies. It was Benedict Hamerov in his ultimate form Necross Hades, and he’s with his bride Heretic: Esperia. Their entrance is like a lady and gentleman who just got late in entering a sassy grand ball.

“Behold, as the destroyer of universes is here to make an entrance!” Necross Hades laughed.

“Necross Hades!? Why the heck are you even on our side!?” I asked.

“Don’t misunderstand, my dear leader Alaric Eisenhower.” Necross Hades waved his index finger as he clicked his tongue. “My destiny as a Necross Messiah is still in effect. I will destroy universes, including this one we’re in. I don’t care if it’s the Sin Universe or a mix of Lord Necross himself.”

“That’s right~” Esperia giggled as she excitedly clung on her lover’s arm. “We will help you in destroying this universal Eidolon only~”

Well, that’s an answer that is truly ambiguous. But since they’re here on our side, I won’t complain.

All the enemies and allies now stood side by side to defeat the Eidolons of the ultimate evil. They collaborated their attacks on one another, making this grand boss battle a little bit easier.

The battle rages on.

I was too carried away in fighting this war. I forgot that I’m just a normal Gate Guardian without the armor since I switched it to protect Tiara. So when I faced a gigantic seven-headed dragon Eidolon along the way, I got my ass beat.

“Grah!” I fell down on the floor as my ice sword flew into the air.

“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR!!!” The Eidolon cried as it rushed forward, ready to make its finishing blow to me.

Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light.

The Eidolon that is ought to attack me was immediately finished in a blink of an eye.

In front of me is my rescuer, who is a woman with an adorable face, white ribbon tied on her hair, and submachine guns on both of her hands.

As my eyes opened wide, I muttered the nickname I was not able to call for a long time.
