PHASE 94 - DEATH SENTENCE ORDER
“!!!”
Rikkun had already calculated all of the enemy plans inside his mind, His ability to see the future was activated in the entire fight, and he should have known all of Jecchan’s/Rainbow Freya’s plans to attack me ever since the barrier went off.
Two icicle spears were created on both of Rikkun's hands. Each spear has a pair of wings and was surrounded by lightning sparks and snowflake dust. With his full force, he threw the spears aiming at Rainbow Freya!
The spears matched the speed of light. In just a picosecond, both of Rainbow Freya’s colorful wings were pierced with the spears, and that caused blood to spray all over my face.
“Kyaaaaaaaaaaah!!!”
Rainbow Freya cried as she was dragged by the spears until she was pinned down on a distant wall. With the electric charge and ice aura, it paralyzed Rainbow Freya’s wings which rendered it absolutely unusable.
“Tiara!!!” Rikkun cried as he dashed forward.
“Rikkun!!!” I reached out my hand.
There are five other Gate Guardians who are rushing down to me. They all have their melee weapons such as swords, axes, and scythes ready to slash me down. Rikkun is about ten meters away but the assaulting Gate Guardians are just a meter away. I have no means to defend myself.
“Die, witch!” One of the Gate Guardians shouted.
“!!!” In an instant, Rikkun teleported and swapped places with me. He took all the melee attacks of the Gate Guardians with his Aether Armor that did not even get a scratch upon impact.
“What the hell-!!!”
“Haaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!” Rikkun made a circle slash around him, creating a powerful wind shockwave that blasted all the enemies away. All five Gate Guardians crashed on the ground in an instant. Most of them are heavily injured as they suffered ruptures and fractures all over their body.
“Rikkun, stop this! Stop hurting them!” I cried out loud.
I could no longer see my boyfriend beat up people who used to be our allies. Watching him brutally fight with our friends is enough to leave a really bad taste in my mouth, and now even the innocent Gate Guardians who have nothing to do with my sins are now getting hurt or killed.

My knight in shining armor turned his glowing crimson eyes to me and then rushed to my position. He immediately picked me up with both of his hands and hugged me tight as if he is an American football player, protecting the ball with his life.
“Rikkun, it’s enough... Don’t hurt them because of me…” I cried on my boyfriend’s chest.
Suddenly, I felt a hand patting my head.
“I’m sorry, Tiara… I’ll focus on escaping from this moment.” Rikkun said with a caring voice.
He channeled his prana on his legs to blast off away from our current position, running like a racing car.
<>
“Don’t let them escape! Delay Aeternos as long as you can!” Sister Amanda Cryst ordered to the Gate Guardians around the perimeter. Even though her Lord Neptune form was utterly defeated earlier and sustained heavy injuries herself, she can still stand up and issue a command to her subordinates.
The Gate Guardians formed barricades and barricades of themselves, ready to block Rikkun’s path. They all readied their melee weapons to attack!
“Chaaaarge!!!”
Rikkun’s crimson eyes glowed, and darkness engulfed everything. He clutched, circled around, and drifted from the waves of Gate Guardians, only leaving a platinum zigzag streak on the way. When the darkness faded, the Gate Guardians were astounded that their target is no longer there.
We finally got past the last wave of Gate Guardians. However, there is still one person who dares to block our way.
“You… shall… not… pass…”
It was an exhausted grunt. In front of us is a short scrawny man with brown hair. He is equipped with a kite shield but his left arm is on a sling. Even his left brown eye is covered by bandages, but he is still filled with determination to fight. This man is all too familiar but he’s not the person we actually know. He is the Yohan Romanov of this timeline.
Rikkun stopped for a moment to tease the poor teenager. “Did your mother told you not to go out past your bedtime?”
“Shut up…” Yohan gasped for air as if he’s asthmatic. “...You’ll pay for killing Erylle!”
Rikkun made a soft sigh. “Are you really sure you want to do this? I mean, I have defeated Gods and Goddesses who are at least one hundred times more powerful than you.”

“I will… still… fight!” Yohan cried. His arm felt heavy, but he prepared a battle stance that made his shield face on our way.
“Rikkun, don’t hurt him!” I cried.
“Yeah, yeah, I won’t,” Rikkun said. “But let me try defeating a Yohan Romanov just once.”
His crimson eyes glowed once again and darkness fell upon the surroundings. With a single silver streak and a painful cry that sounds like “Uwaaaah!”, the darkness faded. The poor shielder guy was brought to the ground without much effort. He did not even saw what hit him.
“That felt much better~” Rikkun made a relieved sigh. And then, with his lightning boost, he dashed away from the scene.
<>
We have gained a hundred-meter distance from the assailants, and the Gate Guardians are falling behind. My safety was at arms reach, but our former allies will never ever going to give up.
At a faraway distance, I saw Rainbow Freya landing on top of a building. Together with her is Kristoff on his base form, readying his bow. Rainbow Freya disabled her Goddess Core, which made her go back to her petite Jecchan form.
“Rikkun is that…” I whispered.
Suddenly, Jecchan pointed her arms towards Rikkun who is busy parkouring on top of the buildings. When her target was locked, Jecchan’s cross-sigil on her purple eyes glowed, indicating the use of her Guardian Ability!
“With the power of my , I command you, Alaric Eisenhower, to surrender!”
Rikkuns' body was eaten by semi-transparent golden light, but then the light shattered. It seems that even can’t control Rikkun on Aeternos Mode, not even the slightest bit.
“With the power of my , I command you, Alaric Eisenhower, to surrender!” Jecchan shouted again.
Just like before, it failed to control the mind of my lover. The armor prevents anything that affects the wielder, so no physical, mental, or magical interference would work against him.
Jecchan squinted her eyes. She felt a little disappointed that her plan did not work. But knowing how smart she is, and also her determination to never give up, she is still hiding an ace card on her sleeve.
“There’s no choice, then,” Jecchan whispered to herself. Channeling her Guardian Ability once again, she pointed her arms towards us… but it felt like I am the one specifically being targeted. “With the power of my , I command you, Tiara Hikari, to surrender!”
“E-Eh!?”
Golden light started to engulf my body as my mind succumbs to Jecchan’s command. My arms moved on its own, trying to struggle away from Rikkun’s grasps. My fists and knee started to hit my boyfriend, trying to get away.
“Damn it, Tiara! Don’t move too much!” Rikkun scolded.
“I-It’s not me!” I cried. “J-Jecchan is controlling me!”
It was the biggest weakness I have. is the ability to control a Gate Guardian who trusts the user’s leadership. Since I still trust Jecchan, she can use her Guardian Ability on me without any complications!
My arms started to push away Rikkun’s face, making it hard for him to focus on running away. My fingers even covered the eyes of his helmet, so he’s completely blinded!
“G-Garh! You idiotic pup!” Rikkun protested. "I can't see the road!"
“I-I’m sorry! I’m so sorry, Rikkun!”
Suddenly, I heard another shout from Jecchan which made me froze in fear. My cold sweat ran down on my neck as I heard her voice.
“Kristoff, take the shot!”
The tall, dark, and handsome archer who was on Jecchan’s side started to drag the string of his longbow, charging a magical arrow in it. With precision, his dark pupils followed Rikkun’s disoriented movements and looked for any weak points.
“Guardian Ability: activated,” Kristoff said.
I saw the bow aiming directly towards my head. Kristoff’s is an ability that makes him never miss any shot, and once he fired his arrows, it would be a death sentence to me. Rikkun is not even aware of what is about to come as his eyes are blindfolded by my uncooperating hands.
With a whisper, Kristoff released his arrow.

The Polyglot's Rune
Fear. Regret. Memories. They all flashed before my eyes as my life began to fade away. I felt a darkness encroach upon my heart followed by a sinister foreboding. Within that moment I was asked a single question by a powerful, mystical being. “Brave being, do you wish to accomplish a great deed in your life?” “No,” I refused, but the voice did not listen. It summoned me to its world only to try to have me slaughtered. But then, I was saved by him, the princess who disguised herself as a man. He was hellbent on revenge, and he was determined to drag me down with him. This story is meant to be a bit of a mix of genres and cultures, so there are some elements that may seem xianxia like, but it's not exactly the same so I didn't tag it. It also has multiple lead characters but is written in first person. Schedule: Dropped Normal Chapter Length: approximately 3000 words Warning: Tagged [15+] for Strong Language and Violence (Gore and Profanity aren't very prevalent, but I added the warning tags just in case).
