PHASE 65 - I CAN’T THINK OF A WITTY TITLE FOR THIS FIGHT
The moment I saw that multi-colored third eye, I already know that this will be a bloodier battle than before. I have to get as many people out of this as possible, or else there will be major casualties.
“Diadem, get out of here. Make sure that the other members are safe.” I whispered to my twin brother who is still in his God form.
“Are you sure you’re going to be okay?” Lord Ra asked. “I can give some assistance.”
“We’ll take care of it,” I said with a smile. “Go, Diadem. Go.”
Lord Ra nodded and then he swiped his fingers to open a Gate. But before he left, he halted for a second as he heard Jecchan’s voice.
“That goes for you, Lord Hephaestus.” Jecchan looked at the God of Forging. “Your job here is done. That surprise attack is good, but I’m afraid you’re better in the Earth Realm. Watch for any Necross Eidolons and keep everyone safe.”
“Got it.” Lord Hephaestus muttered as he rendezvous with the Egyptian Sun God. “Good luck.”
The Gate Ra made immediately flashed with a bright blinding light, which delivered them out of Yami. Now, there are only five people left in this specific battlefield. Rikkun, Jecchan, and I... versus Esperia and Benedict Hamerov a.k.a. Necross Hades.
“Hey, you should be the one to go and not Hephaestus,” Rikkun said to Jecchan. “You’re more than a dead weight here. Tiara and I will handle the rest.”
“Don’t underestimate me, Alaric. I may not be overpowered like you lovebirds but I have the smarts to do battle tactics.” Jecchan smiled. “You still remember the plan?”
“Of course.” Rikkun stepped forward. “I’ll get out of Necross Hades’ way while taking out Esperia. That’s the easiest job here.”
“Oho~” The white flower witch Esperia stepped forward with her hand on her hip as if she was acting like a beauty queen. “I’m pretty sure I heard you underestimating me.”

“Yes, you’re not that powerful enough to take me.” Rikkun clenched his fists. “To give you a handicap, I will not use !”
In the background, I saw Jecchan making a deep breath. She pointed her index finger to Rikkun and charged the electric prana that immediately launched to my lover’s back!
“With the power of my , I command you, Alaric Eisenhower, to use and fight with all you got!” Jecchan cried.
“!!!”
Rikkun shouted due to the mind-controlling effects of Jecchan’s Guardian Ability . If you guys forgot already, is mind-control magic that is only usable on allies. As a result of commanding Rikkun to shout , he is now covered with platinum-clad cybernetic power armor that ought to make him invincible.
“What the-!!!” Rikkun glared at Jecchan and shouted at her with a dubstep-voice. “Why did you do that!?”
“I can’t have you die here once again just because of your arrogance.” Jecchan wiped her hair on her shoulders. “It’s better if you keep using that armor.”
“Spoilsport,” Rikkun muttered. “Fine, I’ll get started immediately.”
“Good.”
“,” Rikkun said as he buffed his armor with white wings, lightning sparks, and flame soles.
“Esperia, get ready…” Benedict muttered upon seeing Aeternos’ divine might.
“Don’t worry about me, Darli-!!!”
In an instant, everything went dark and a silver streak mixed with electricity and fire bolted forward. When the darkness faded, Rikkun was already in front of Esperia. With his cybernetic hands, he grabbed the face of the white flower witch which made her fail to finish her sentence.
“LET’S GO FOR A RIDE, SHALL WE!?” Rikkun said with his terrifying cybernetic voice. And then in an instant, they disappeared with lightning and firebolt left on their trail.

“Esperia!” Benedict’s cry is full of worry. But he already realized that this is no time to think about his defective girlfriend as he is now left with formidable enemies. Looking at me and Jecchan, Benedict’s glare is full of wrath and mercilessness. He held his heart and activated the God Core on his chest. “!!!”

A black pillar of light emerged from the emo guy’s body. When the tower of shadows faded, he revealed his divine form which is equipped with boney armor and black cloak. He has ascended into a more malefic form than normal as he is now wearing a dragon’s skull mask that has a rainbow-colored third eye. Skeletal wings flapped on his back as he levitated in the air.
“Tiara, I’ll support you!” Jecchan said as she spun her gunblades. “Go nuts!”
“R-Right!” I pumped my fists. “With determination, I will never give up!”
My warcry immediately transformed my shrine maiden dress into divine robes as ten wings sprouted on my back. The tips of my demigoddess dress created flames that left out embers as I moved.
“Haaaaaaah!” I surged towards the enemy Cursed God with full speed. My wings blasted air pressure to the back which made it possible for me to jump with a speed of a supersonic jet.
“” Necross Hades stabbed his giant fork to the ground, and a sea of black hands emerged and made a tsunami! It’s all going for me!
“!!!” Jecchan dashed to the rescue. With her amazing speed, she slashed each and every shadow hand that was about to reach me. Each and every swing of her blade left blue and red lights as if she’s holding two neon sticks!
Thanks to Jecchan’s support, I managed to pave my way towards Necross Hades without much effort! The enemy’s finally within my range of attack!
“!!!”
My shapeshifting wings transformed into ten draconic claws that made a punch straight to the enemy’s skull mask! A powerful shockwave emerged, and the ground shook as if it was having an earthquake!
“Aaaargh!” Necross Hades cried as he was launched in the air and crashed on the ground. A long straight canal on the soil was formed due to the force of impact.
It didn’t take too long for Necross Hades to stand up. His skull dragon helmet slowly cracked until it shattered to hundreds of pieces, revealing the face of Benedict Hamerov. His sharp pale-white face, his glaring crimson eyes, and his long black hair that is covering half of his facial expression made a good job in complimenting his devilish grin.
Anybody could easily figure out that he’s a dark lord of some sort.
“Hahaha… Hahahaha!!!” Necross Hades laughed as if he’s enjoying the fight. I never knew that emos like him can be so masochistic! “Jeanette and Tiara. Every time I switch universes, these two beautiful girls are always making obstacles in my path.”
“Give up, Benedict!” Jecchan shouted. “Alaric has already taken Esperia away! There’s no way you can draw the Heavenly Blade of Destructio-”
Suddenly, Necross Hades removed his boney gauntlet and revealed a ring on his ring finger. I can sense a fair amount of prana in it that has the same signature of Esperia. Wait, is that a ring that is used to make connections between lovers!?
Necross Hades swiped his fingers in the thin air to open a dimensional portal. He immediately drew out a dark obsidian sword from it, and then he swung the blade left and right as if he’s asking for a Round 2.
“I-Impossible!” I muttered. I never would have thought that Necross Hades would do the same trick Rikkun and I did to draw out even if we’re far away from each other.
“Tiara Hikari… Just so you know, Esperia and I were the first to do this trick. I taught this to Alaric back in the previous timeline, in the past book, before he could fight your Cursed Diadem in a duel.” Necross Hades said.
“This is not good!” Jecchan cried. “Our plan failed the moment he drew out the Heavenly Blade of Destruction . We need to regroup with Alaric immediately!”
“I’m not letting you do that!” Necross Hades shouted as he raised his obsidian sword and gathered darkness from the skies. As dark particles condensed, it created a tower of shadows that followed the sword. And with a shout, he pointed the Heavenly Blade unto us. “!!!”
An ocean of darkness surged towards us like a tsunami.
