Hiro: See, easy.
Hiro says in an exhausted tone. He then holds his eyes.
Hiro: Argh, damn I think I went a little overboard. But I gotta warn Sole and Elias.
--- Chapter 20 ---
Ame: So, you wanna tell me who you are? Or at least what you're doing with all this metal?
???: I'm a member of the Tenyi, Squad C to be exact. And as for the metal that's above my paygrade.
Ame: Ok, you're a talker aren't you.
???: You imposed a question and I answered. Are you dissatisfied?
Ame: You're an odd one. What's your name?
???: Stacy
Ame: Isn't that a girls name?
???: Really? We were having a CIVIL conversation, then you had to bring THAT up?!
Stacy continues to rant to himself for a few moments.
Ame: This guy is batshit crazy!
Stacy: Ah, sorry about that. Now, where were we. OH right, we were about to fight now, weren't we?
Ame: Not unless you want to give up and turn yourself in.
Stacy: Oh come now, you know I can't do that
Ame: Oh well, a girl can dream!
She shouts as she pulls the rectangle from her back. She takes a deep breath as a green energy flows down her hands into the rectangle. It starts to morph into that of a minigun.
Stacy: Oooh metal morphing! How exciting. Though I thought your kind up and died, what, 20 years ago?
Ame: Stop talking.
Stacy: Oh I'm sorry, push a nerve? I mean everyone heard about it. One of the great mage clans. Slaughtered in a single night. Y'know, I'm pretty sure that it's taught in grade school nowadays.
Ame in a fit of rage pulls the trigger, releasing a barrage of bullets barreling towards him.
Stacy: Oops, looks like I pushed more than a nerve.

Stacy leaps out of the way into a nearby alleyway.
Stacy: Your aims a little off when you're mad! So id stop that if you want to kill me.
Ame: Calm, he's just trying to get in your head.
The weapon shifts to look like a shotgun. She heads up to the alleyway he went in. She turns the corner, weapon drawn.
Ame: Hands up!
But there wasn't anyone there.
Ame: How? There's a back wall, so he couldn't have gone back. No windows so left and right are out of the question. No sewer grate, so not down. That only leaves!
She looks up to see him falling towards her. She lifts her gun to him but before she could fire he touches her weapon. It begins to crumble down into little blocks. She backs up, now weaponless. He has gloves in his mouth, he spits them out.
Stacy: My arcana, allows me to stop the function of non living things, entirely. Hope you didn't need your little toy.
He says with a smile. She draws to smaller rectangles and squeezes. Them forming into a hilt and a blade of green energy protrudes from them. Stacy brings his hands to his left and right, and seemingly grabs nothing. He acts like he’s unsheathing two blades, but has he is, two red energy blades form in his hands.
Ame: Magic item?
Stacy: Yup.
They begin to slash at each other and block the others' slashes. This continues for a couple of minutes before they stop.
Ame: You're not half bad with a sword.
Stacy: I sincerely wish I could say the same.
Ame gives him a smirk before dashing in before he could even realize. A blade through his stomach.
Ame: When you talk so much it makes your reaction worse.

Stacy: So it would seem.
The swords morph into hand held guns as she releases bullets through his stomach sending him flying back. He begins tapping the ground.
Ame: The hell are you doing?
Stacy: I’m crazy, but not stupid. With these wounds I’m smart enough to know I lost. But I’m not dumb enough to die for this shit.
He elbows the ground to the side of him. A manhole cover. What he was tapping earlier were screws making them lose function. The hole burst open as he slithers inside. Ame runs over the manhole and jumps in. He’s no where to be seen.
Ame: Dammit!
