《The Overpowered Demon Princess Has Left Her World To Help An Author Write Her Story》A Golem's Origins

To think I'm seeing the Eis-Golem again...I could've sworn I destroyed it with my Blaze Punch at full blast on last night...
"Why...is it...here?"
I sound like I've got betrayed by a trusted ally except I've got fooled by the enemy. In fact, upon closer inspection, the Eis-Golem has huge icy spikes on its arms, shoulders and head. They weren't there when I first encounter it. What's worse is that it seems to have grown a lot bigger. How tall? As tall as one of this school building's parts...
"Don't tell me... you're...its master..."
"Good guess, Mister Hero! At that time, I was able to tell my weapon to teleport before your Blaze Punch's smoke was dispersed."
With that explanation making sense, her icy blue eyes somehow "smiles" as if she's going to win this fight. Unfortunately, she's right because I'm trembling even though I haven't try to attack the monster with my sword right now.
After a deep breath, I'm determined to bring it down along with its cocky master. With my own thoughts, I activate my Acceleration Spell. I aim at her because...
That means I can't use that punch of mine on it again. Blaze Wall would be a great option, but I don't know the consequences of using it in this dimension. Anyhow, I doubt the Eis-Golem is able to move fast with its big body. But if I wanna win this fight, I must take its summoner down.
As I spring forward with my feet at high speed towards Siofon, icy spikes are suddenly aiming at me, shooting like arrows except these versions are much bigger and colder. I manage to dodge, but before I realize, the Eis-Golem is protecting its master as it manages to catch up and be in front of her. I dodge its punches. I really am trying to get to her, but easier said than done. The monster won't let me attack her as it manages to keep up with my speed.
If that's the case...
I use Acceleration Spell with my thoughts, only this time, I seem to alter it to make me twice faster than my usual speed. With that activation, I manage to confuse the Eis-Golem by jumping to many spots as many as I can in front of it.
Alright! Now, I'll slash your throat!
I don't remember when was the last time my sword was able to make an eerie slash sound, but it assured me that there's no way the monster...huh?
The slash mark is...patching up!? How...
Before I can respond, its left arm grabs my sword's blade. I struggle to pull it from its grip, but to no avail, it doesn't. Now I think about it...
Huh!? What the heck's happening?! It's like it's gotten stronger...

The Eis-Golem is about to attack me with its right arm. Luckily, I manage to gain my full focus, responding quickly with my Shining Glare. It works as it covers its eyes with its left arm which I've slice it off in the next second. It seems to fall on its left knee due to my slicing its right foot. It's impossible for it to catch me with those parts detached from its body.
"Alright! You're wide open, Sio..."
I should've been more focused on my surroundings for the Eis-Golem is able to knock me down at my back. I retain my consciousness though I feel my body is crammed with unimaginable pain. My school uniform, especially its shirt, is tattered due to the shockwave I get from the attack. My sword has been slipped from my right hand, flying away from me until it lands at a nearby bush. I wish the bush was a bit nearer to me for I'm unable to get my sword back as of this moment.
I wonder why it's able to hit me for it was kneeling down for one moment. As I turn my body upwards, I notice its left arm and right foot are still intact. It's as if it wasn't cut at all...
"It...can grow...its arm and...leg..."
Before I can cast my Shining Glare on the creature, I don't realize I've gotten myself pinned down by it. I yelp in pain because its strong grips on my shoulders mustn't be underestimated. My hands are free to move so I try to pull its hands off my shoulders. But it's no good...
This strength... It might be three times than mine being in good condition.
It may be no use, but I try struggling with all my might when suddenly, it happens again. The psycho-magic Siofon has mentioned earlier. My right hand touches the Eis-Golem's left arm and my mind has gone into somebody's point of view though the short conversation between the young girl named Elise, and an old man. Their voices taking place in pitch-black darkness.
"I'm sorry, Elise. Your disease... I'm unable to go near you. Don't come back anymore."
"But, Doctor! Please..."
Then, my point of view becomes visible. It seems this old man...the doctor slams his entrance door immediately in front of Elise's eyes, or in this case...MY EYES. A regular cottage she's standing at. I barely hear her cry. She's actually puling for I see her tears dripping down; her hands clench into tight fists. I feel the pain she's in even though it's unclear what her disease is.
Another flashing moment sees me witnessing her packing her necessities in a big cloth. A young boy's voice is heard outside of Elise's room.

"Big Sis~ where are you? It's time for dinner."
The boy, whose face I'm unable to see clearly due to the fact there's no candlelight in this room, opens the door.
"Mom says she bought your fave apricots this morning. So hurry up..."
The boy stays silent as he witnesses Elise's bulky sack; Not to mention she's halfway climbing out of her room's window.
"Big Sis...what are you..."
"I'm sorry, Hugh. I don't want you all to get heartbroken..."
"What do you mean? Big Sis! Whatever it is, you can tell us..."
Before he can persuade her, she manages to jump out of the window. She lands safely for her room isn't that high from the ground. To think she has a terminal illness, she's able to run fast unexpectedly. Hearing the boy Hugh calling her name and begging for her to turn around. Unfortunately, she doesn't and I feel her tears flowing more than ever.
The next flashing moment sees her cuddling herself at the back of a carriage. Her current beige dress looks tattered. Her legs being a little muddied. Then, I hear two grown men's voices outside the covered cart.
"At least she has a pretty face. This young lord better pay us a great price. Though she needs a bath..."
"Yeah. Hey. Why don't we ask him to triple the amount for purchasing this girl?"
"Hey, you two. How about I'll have her?"
Huh? A woman's voice?
"You...purchasing our girl? Hahahaha! Aren't you a milkmaid? I never hear one of your kind being able to pay a handsome price."
"So? Is that how you see me, young man? You know I was full from eating men like you earlier on."
"Eating...men?? Hey, lady... You better stop that stupid joke. Or else..."
It seems Elise crawls quietly, taking a little peek through the carriage's covers. From our point of view, we're at an unfamiliar forest. It's shocking because one of the grown men sneakily takes out a dagger with his right hand, ice begins to form on his neck. Sure enough he starts yelping, questioning the milkmaid if she's a witch. His partner is trying to get the ice off of him by lighting a torch.
They think it's better to be burned than to be frozen. Then, the milkmaid chuckles maniacally that it sends shivers down Elise's spine. The milkmaid proceeds to freeze the partner's hands and arms. He too is yelping and yelling for help from anybody nearby.
"Close enough, but I'm a Spectre, gentlemen. To think you're dumb in planning to stab me with your dagger... Come to think of it, dumb men like you two will fill up my quota for the day."
So she claims...Spectre...It can't be...
And so, the grown men scream in agony as their whole bodies get frozen at an immediate speed. The Spectre proceeds to smash their frozen selves into many tiny bits with her bare fists.
Unwilling to think longer about what just happened, Elise clasps her mouth because if she screams, she'll be killed like those grown men. She crawls as silent as she can be, but she feels the carriage quivering. Then, it wobbles continuously. Just when she's trying to get on to the horse, which was being tied to the front of the carriage, a sudden explosion splits up her hiding place. Smoke and dust blinds our sight for a moment. Elise manages to survive despite a few bruises and wounds she gets on her arms and legs.
Nevertheless, she crawls with all her strength as she wants to look for the horse. When she does find it, the horse has ran away, crying with a wailing neigh. The horse was really frightened by the explosion the milkmaid/Spectre has caused that it really relied on instinct to escape from danger.
"There you are, little girl."
I can't see Elise's face, but I can feel she's scared to death, looking at the milkmaid's evil grin and icy blue eyes...wait. So it's...
"Please...please don't kill...me"
"Oh~ No, Elise. I won't. I just want you to do the killing. That's easier, don't you think?"
I can't process what just happened exactly, but I feel Elise's heart being stabbed by something big and cold. I look down to see the Spec...no... Siofon's right hand stab through Elise's left chest. Before I know it, I hear the agonized cries Elise is making as she clenches the stabbed spot. Writhing on the ground, I see her arms and legs and probably her entire body becoming solid ice. It's not the same ones inflicted on the grown men; instead, the ice looks tough and gleams with the color of ice. As for Siofon, I see her right hand dripping with Elise's blood.
All of a sudden, I'm pulled back into reality where I'm still pinned down by the Eis-Golem in this whatever dimension. If Siofon is a powerful Spectre able to possess any human, then what I've seen just now...it was Elise's final moments as a human. I realise that whatever was thrusted into Elise's heart back then, she's now an Eis-Golem. I'm starting to feel horrible for I'm beginning to know about the origins of Golems. They did come from somewhere, and that's when they were humans once...before a Dark Magic's curse fall upon them...

Have you ever wondered how a blind person sees? Not their surroundings but in their mind, the place most sacred to anyone. Where they keep memories, ideas, dreams, fears, nightmares and where they let their imagination roam free. We with sight, see things in still photos or moving pictures from memories, or other references that we see everyday. Framing our mind into something that's usually the same as most of the population, something conformed. We see the same colors the same movements, the same designs. We may all think differently but we all see the same, both on the outside and the inside. Not Eliot because he was born blind, never seen a thing in his whole life, that is until the satellites appeared giving him vision and the whole world new possibilities. *** Apocalyptic setting. Game-like elements. Atleast two chapter a week

8 108Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends
In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.
