《The Ruler of Nameless World》Chapter 4

A blonde-haired female NPC led Ace to a room on the second floor. The wooden hallways are very different from the apartment. The bedroom that Niel ordered turned out to be quite spacious, about half the size of his apartment. Although it looks old-fashioned, Ace likes the soft, deep red carpet that covers the wooden floor. The bed covered with a plain cloth is enough for one person. However, the downlights that used to accompany his sleep were now replaced with oil lamps. The bathroom was also small and had a waist-high tub. No shower, water heater, or heating.
Right in front of the bed, there is a rectangular wooden window. Ace approached the window and pulled the crimson curtains aside. From this room, he could see a serene view of the city. There are no lights that rival the stars. Only oil lamps glow dimly in each building.
The serenity and beauty of this place could not make him fall asleep. The night was getting late, but Ace just stared at the minimalist ceiling of the room. In Hilfheim, Ace usually fell asleep after calling his grandfather and asking how his mother was.
He didn't understand how all of this had happened to him. Memories flood memories with some facts and images about the real world. He missed his world, Hilfheim, and his mother. Ace's chest tightened as he remembered that he had been forgotten since stepping on this world. Perhaps he would never see the family who was going about their routine quietly. Her grandparents continued to tend the fields, while her mother … waited for her husband's return.
Ace couldn't imagine his mother's life when his grandparents died. I don't know how long people's compassion can support a woman who lives alone. His mother must have been begging blankly, hoping that someone would pity her. A woman who lost her husband in an accident, and lives alone.

The lecture was messed up. Even though he had been desperately learning to get help. He missed Allura, the round-eyed girl who had been his friend since childhood. Ace felt like a loser who didn't dare to express his feelings. It was clear that he liked Allura, but his family conditions did not match Allura's. The woman has a bright future, it doesn't seem like it. Maybe this is fate. Stuck in the game and forgotten by people.
Ace decided to join the six of them to find a first-rate wizard and seal Apostologia. Even though a first-tier magician is considered a myth, Ace believes that person must exist. Maybe that person is just like those who wander around looking for a way to seal the Apostologia to return to the real world. If that happened, Ace felt that he still had hope of returning to Hilfheim.
It must be so.
Ace buried his face in the pillow, hoping to sleep. Maybe when he fell asleep, he would return to Hilfheim, to a cheap apartment, and enjoy instant soup. His eyes weren't sleepy at all even though the air was so cold. He tried to pull the jacket closer, but it didn't work. The cold pierced his skin. Could it be that real-world clothes don't work? It could be, but Ace still feels uncomfortable seeing his friends' clothes. They wore long robes with odd details. Not to mention their weapons and powers.
What magic did he get? Can he kill dragons like his friends? Ace rubbed his face in annoyance, trying to enjoy the quiet and the sounds of the nocturnal animals. However, suddenly there was a deafening echo. Ace jumped up, rushing to get up to peek outside. From the round window, he saw a sky dotted with stars and a beautiful crescent moon. Nothing.

Ace shook his head vigorously. Maybe the echo was just a hallucination. Ace crossed his arms to relieve the chill that was creeping up his body.
When Ace was about to go back to bed, he felt a pang of anxiety in his chest, as if his heart was trying to burst out.
A loud clattering sound was heard from a distance. Ace turned back, then looked up. A streak of blue light flashed in the darkness of the night. High-pitched voices sprang up, sounding strange as they resonated.
Ace's feeling said that if he was stupid, he must be dreaming. His body was really tired. If all he saw was a dream, Ace hoped to wake up soon. He didn't know what he was going to find, but the figure was getting clearer and clearer.
A glowing blue dragon is flying towards the Dawn Grimmer
