PROLOGUE: After the war.

It has been 7 years since the Great Archusian War ended, where thousands upon thousands of lives was lost.

20 years ago, the Great Archusian Empire invaded Ino to expand its territory in the east; confident in its power and advance technology the Archusians marched to victory against the warriors’ land Ino.

Warriors of Ino have banded together and fought to protect the freedom of their country, but their resistance was futile for the technology of the enemy is far too great to oppose. Despite the enemy’s superior arms, Ino as a proud nation of warriors put up a good fight; but dreadfully its best was not enough. Thus Ino has now become a shadow of its former glory as the “Conqueror of the East”.

Our story takes place in a land of warriors called Ino. Ino has lost the war against the Great Archusian Empire and is now its colony. It is set in the middle ages with advance technology.

Peace came to its land, but the once proud warrior’s land is now in a tight leash and now any hostilities including carrying weapons or the use magic is strictly forbidden. Because of this, the warriors that only knew of conflict have lost their livelihood.

The Great Archusian Empire enforced a system upon Ino where any conflict can be legally resolved with a game called Alctuz.

Alctuz is a battle game using Virtual Reality technology to create Virtual Arenas, where a maximum of 16 players (Each team will have a maximum of 8 members) fight against each other in different battle modes and arenas using their real-life wits, talents, magic, and determination to achieve victory.

Since any conflict can be resolved using Alctuz, powerful men have recruited the unemployed warriors as players of Alctuz to fight for them. Because of this the warriors formed guilds that will accept requests from people that wants to use the Alctuz system to resolve conflicts in exchange for payment.
