Seeing this, he was speechless, at least now he was certain he was not on Earth anymore. He carefully read all the information present, level 2... It didn't take a genius to know it was low. As for his weapons he didn't have any reference to compare with so he could not say if the damage values were high or not.
He cautiously moved his hand closer to the levitating screen.
As he touched the panel, the text transformed:
-[Cold-blooded]: Increase resistance to mental attacks and psychic disturbances, allows one to think calmly in any situation.
-[Indomitable] :Increase physical resistance and increase pain resistance
-[Analysis] : allows one to analyze an object or a living being
-[Plunderer] : Allows one to steal abilities from slain beings , the chances of theft increase with one’s level and the number of beings killed.
It was already hard to believe the situation he was in was real and now he had fantasy skills as well ?
The fact that he accepted the existence of these abilities so easily probably came from [Cold Blooded]. But it was useless to dwell on that.
[Cold Blooded] and [Indomitable] were already pretty great from their description but [Plunderer] was just incredible. He understood right away that theoretically he could become stronger without limit and exponentially!
He decided to test [Analysis] right away. He focused on the corpse of the monster in front of him and activated the skill by simply saying its name.
A new, smaller window appeared in front of him, [Goblin Lvl 5], was the only thing written. He felt a little disappointed but hoped that the descriptions would become more accurate if he continued to use his skill.

The sun was already getting high in the sky so he packed his things and set off again, the rest of the day was hot and he spent it activating [Analysis] on everything around him in the hope of learning more about the place he was in.
When evening came, he finally achieved his goal, when he activated it without a specific target, something new appeared [Great Gubu Forest east of Erma's kingdom].
When he read this message, he breathed a long sigh of relief, even though it was vague, he now knew that intelligent life existed around here since there was a “kingdom”, he was heading in the right direction and had not spent the last 2 days walking in vain.
He spent his second night high up in the branches to avoid repeating the same mistakes as the day before. He slept with one eye open and was on the lookout for a possible attack. But the night passed and nothing came out of the darkness.
The next morning, at dawn, he scanned the surroundings with his sensors but the area still seemed deserted. He was starting to descend from his perch when he thought he heard a noise in the distance, he froze immediately and stopped breathing, hearing nothing but birds singing.
Then suddenly he heard voices, human voices! His helmet audio feed allowed him to spot a conversation more than 200 meters away, he ran towards the source as fast as he could and quickly arrived at a nearby road, but his experience with goblins made him wary, he hid in bushes and watched.
The first thing he saw was some horse-drawn carts in which men, women and children were piled, all tied up, they looked malnourished and dirty, with only thin scraps of clothing to cover themselves.

6 men surrounded them, in such a way as to encircle the carts. All of them were equipped with the same weapons and armor, namely a long sword and a round shield. All except one, wearing a long hooded robe and waving a long stick as his only weapon.
Before any rash action, he used [Analysis] on the soldiers, the strangely dressed man and the prisoners.
[Warriors of the Xis Empire lvl 8 to 12], [Mage of the Xis Empire lvl16], [Inhabitants of the Kingdom of Erma lvl1 to 5]
At that very moment no doubt remained in his mind anymore, the soldiers had raided the neighboring kingdom to kidnap slaves and were returning to their homeland.
He thought about his options, he could follow the soldiers to reach the Xin empire without creating a commotion or shoot them all and free the prisoners or even simply continue on his way. After all, he had nothing to do with this...
While he was thinking, the group passed by his position and he heard the guards talking to each other, unfortunately he didn't understand a word they were saying, apparently “automatic translation” was not included in the other world package.
He saw however one of the guards approaching a carriage and starting to speak, or rather shout to a young woman inside it.
She had short red hair and a tomboy look, rather cute with her blue eyes and freckles, her forms prevented any confusion about her sex despite her rather small breasts.
The guard grabbed her hair with one hand and began groping her chest with the other, a vicious smile on his face, the young woman protested violently and spat at his face with a disgusted look, he answered with an angry snarl and slapped her violently across the face.
She let out a high-pitched cry and slumped in the cart. The other soldiers just laughed stupidly.
The girl’s eyes hesitated between pride and a desire to melt into tears, she finally crawled into a ball hiding her face and busted lip in her arms.
That was it...
A cold rage grew inside the traveler, his decision was made.
What was the point of starting over in another world if he let things like that happen right in front of him ? This time, he had the power to act, he was not helpless anymore...

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]

A Different Kind of God
The city that never sleeps is one like no other. You could look at the wolves on Wallstreet trying to make a buck or you could look at the more fun things, the more supernatural things. There are all manner of these things in the underbelly of New York whether it be gods, demons, monsters, or even vampires. Now, where does Liam fit in? ... This is a Percy Jackson/Elderscrolls Fanfic I came up with in my free time. After writing 16 chapters I had some people DM me about co-posting it to different sites. Currently, I have it up over on Fanficiton.net and Spacebattles but as I saw this site allows fanfiction, and I use this site a lot, I decided to start posting it here as well. Feel free to enjoy it or hate it, I'm just writing to have some fun. If you're wanting to read it on either of those two sites I have the same name on both.
