All around the world, there are mana veins in the ground. They come in different sizes and density, giving the area around them a hight measure of mana.
This mana veins are highly sought by all kind of living creatures, since it gives all kind of benefits but the main reason is one can become stronger a lot faster near a mana vein. The reason is simple, since a mana vein has hight quantities of mana, the inner mana gets restore faster,making training faster, and spells of outer mana get a lot stronger, making it easier to understand how to make them.Its posible to survive only with mana if its dense enough, and some type of monsters and plants can only live in those places.
For these reasons and many others, mana veins are highly seeks and fought over, both in land, caves or at sea, and better quality the vein has, the stronger one must be to defend it. For these reasons, a city is build in a mana vein or near one, and usually the bigger the vein, the bigger the city
