Menlyn got to her house and was helped by May to offload Cole. He was mumbling junk as they walked with him to her house.
They finally dropped him on her sofa couch and she looked at him sprawled.
"I have to go." said May.
"What do I do with him?"
"I'm not sure but you will figure it out, maybe someone will call. I can't take him with me." May replied as she walked over to the door to leave.
Menlyn walked her out and she went to her room so that she could change into comfortable clothes. When she was done, she came back to her living room and Cole was still half mumbling as he was sprawled on her couch.
She couldn't do much about him, so she took a blanket and covered him. She took her laptop and presumed working.
Menlyn saw that it was now twelve at night and no-one had called, she would leave him here and she would go and sleep.
Menlyn woke up bright and early she got dressed and went downstairs when she remembered that Cole was downstairs.
It was slient and she wondered if something had happened to him? She rushed down and when she got there she saw that he was still out cold.
Menlyn stood over and she studied him, he was good-looking yet so young and very reckless, how could he sleep so soundly when he didn't even know where he was.
She went to the kitchen and got herself some coffee. She took and her lap top and came back and started work.
She wondered when would he wake up as it was now eleven in the afternoon. She was bought out of her work trance and twelve in the evening when she saw him stirring awake.

He held his head and graoned, and she could tell that it must have been the alcohol that was making him act this way.
She saw panic set in him as he opened his eyes and took in his surroundings, he was very confused she was sure.
He sat up slowly and froze when he saw her looking at him through her laptop.
"Am I dreaming?"
"No, Cole you are not."
"What happened?"
"I saw you on the side of the road, almost blackout drunk and I had no choice but to bring you here as no-one called and I don't know any of your family nor friends."
Cole nodded, "I must have been an nuisance."
"Very much so."
Cole searched his pocket and took out his phone, "Sorry to be another bother once more but do you have a charger?"
"What kind of phone do you have? Nevermind just try the cables over there I'm sure there would be one that suits your needs."
"Thank you." Cole flashed a charming smile, even after waking up he looked quite good, and she had to snap out of her thoughts.
"Sure."
With that Cole rushed off to the cables and plugged his phone and he came back, "Do you mind if I use the bathroom?"
"Down the hall to your left."
"Thank you."

The Kiss of Two Moons
The last year is upon us. The world is ending, but you already knew that; everyone does. Spring has come, and the flowers have bloomed here in this small town with no name. Thousands of different colours now paint the field that had been coloured by frost alone just yesterday. The townsfolk have gathered by the field to celebrate the beginning of the last spring with so many smiling faces. Tears too. I can’t help but wonder whether the flowers will bloom again before the sky falls upon us. Others must be thinking the same. There are moments when the smiles fade and their eyes glaze over as they realize just how near to the end we are. They forget it again in moments. They make themselves forget. The children aren’t like that, though. They don’t seem to understand, or they’ve come to accept it in a way that their parents just can’t manage to. This one boy actually asked me why I was sad. I had to wonder whether he was actually aware that the world is ending, but it seemed wrong to mention it. I ended up just telling him that I was waiting for someone, and he scampered off, wearing a silly smile. I can’t help but feel jealous of him. The beginning of next spring; the day that the world ends. It seems so far away, yet so close. Wherever you are now, I have to ask, how are you spending your last spring? Did you get to see the flowers bloom? Did you smile? Did you cry?

Shadow in the North
What if a work of fiction wasn't fiction at all? What if we only thought it was fiction because it was written down, and we were separated from it by the page? Isabel Darrow, troubled by her past and feeling disconnected from the world, likes her doctor's suggestion that the world of fiction might become reality. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her. The question is, will Mr Thornton adapt to her, or Margaret, first?
