I know I disappeared from here for a long while ... but I have an excuse: my novel, Jake and the Dynamo, was picked up by Superversive Press. Fully revised, it is now available on Amazon in a Kindle edition and features full-color illustrations by artist Roffles Lowell.
This is the first American light novel from Superversive. The paperback edition will be available in a few days. Thank you for the support I received from this site and its users. I'm sorry I've been radio silent during this time.

His only asset? His mind and most importantly his imagination which he must maintain with practical knowledge from his previous life! Will his previous life's fascination with gathering what seemed to be random wildlife knowledge assist this hope for survival in the upcoming trials he faces that are beyond his imagination or make his situation worse because his past life knowledge is not always best in the world he has found himself a part of... All he has to go on are the words of the God who he heard from when he arrived in this crazy world and said "blessings" rewarded to him by this God. [Stupid human, I do not have time for your mortal questions, so I will give you the basic rules” of my planet. They are “evolve to improve oneself for yourself” and for you a unique ability that can be likened to your so-called concept of “customization” to further adapt oneself to the environment and for you to use your so-called “advantage of being reborn with your past life experience and knowledge”. Beware though, the strength you gain will balance itself out when compared to the aboriginals for the system I have created over my lifetime is perfection embodied] This is less brief in the actual prologue by the way as it also serves the purpose of giving you an idea of the world that Connor has been thrown into... :P Schedule: 2-3 Chapters a week, however, there could be more chapters released on some occasions.

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. In this story, Maygan battles demons, AI spies, rogue androids, to save the human race from catastrophe. Can Maygan uncover the secrets of Automatomics and cleanse the forces of darkness before it’s too late? — This story is meant to be fun, so enjoy. The Girl with Scales and a Sword
This is the story of a girl who ends up with scales and a sword. Yup. There you have it folks. Slice of Life is the key intended genre. This is literally going to be a running commentary of a girls life, especially as it relates to adventure and action This is going to be a continuous work, as I intend it to be a side project while I work on other books more decidedly, and I intend to rework chapters often, because I want this both to be a break from other titles, and a learning experience. I'm going to be trying to get a lot of people to comment on chapters so I can grow as a writer. So if you want to read, please do! and comment if you feel generous. Just keep in mind, releases will likely be veeeeery far apart. (Note: I try to put out a chapter a month, though that doesn't always happen depending on school, work, and generally how well I'm doing, energy-wise)
